real smooth
Here's some helpful tutorials. BUT its highly suggested you start off with the donut tutorial or something similar otherwise nothing in blender will make any sense and you will be lost.
Now go make weird shit 💜 (but try to keep it low poly, sims is old 😅)

This is absolutely everything I have been able to scour from everywhere. I’ve had most of it, but I’m pretty sure this is it.Â
Now all in one place for your convenience. Feel free to share.Â
This is a direct link to SFS and does NOT have an Adfly or money making BS added. These are files that almost every simmer has been looking for at one time or another. Â
Enjoy!
i think simblr needs to stop acting like theres only room on here for fun slice of life sitcoms and light dramas. not being able to talk about certain parts of ocs or their stories because people on simblr are puritanical and cannot comprehend a character thats worst crime isnt anything beyond littering is ridiculous. theres so many cool ideas that none of you hear about cause people dont wanna have to deal with idiots in their inbox trying to tie morality to fiction that is meant to be fucked up and in genres similar to horror and psychological horror.
Ah! I was wondering if I'd ever see it again. Here's some video from The SimsSocial. While you may remember 2011's SimSocial Facebook game, this isn't that.
This was a game that was released as a teaser along with SimFriend and SimSidekick as a way to advertise for TS3
This small tutorial is for anyone who's having trouble with the key commands of the much needed mod Sims 3 Decorator Tools by @omedapixel
Since it was hinted months(?) ago, I've been eagerly waiting for the release. And it didn't disappoint. One thing though, as I recently realised that it can cause confusion on non-US keyboard users.
The reason keys '[' and ']' provided by the mod is not working is because the 'commands' are bound to the actual physical keys on your board and not to the symbols on the keys. For example, to rotate the camera I use two keys right next to the M key, and the symbols on them are just letters in my language and not the US Keyboard symbols.
To fix the issue, first look at your own keyboard and detect the letters P, L and M. These letters are usually where letters end and symbols start on US keyboard. In any variation of QWERTY for some other languages there may/will be extra letters on the keyboard.
What you will do is note the keys next to 'Enter', RShift and sometimes the Arrow keys on your keyboard and whatever is next to them. The trick is to select the physical keys and not the symbols on them. It will be slightly different on every keyboard depending on your language variation.
In theory, anything between P,L,M and Enter, RShift, Arrow Keys should work.
So, if you have '.' or ',' next to your Enter key that is the key -not the symbol- you will use to send things up or down. In a way, your own '[' or ']'. After you decide upon two physical keys on your keyboard to use with up10cm and down10cm commands of the mod, you will go look at the US Keyboard Layout and detect those two physical keys and what's labelled on them.
You will use whatever symbols are on the keys of US Keyboard, in the mod's TRIG resource. Then add 'Shift' variants for 1cm up & down. You need to take notes of the keys and what symbols they have on your keyboard because they will be different from the US layout.
In case you're confused about the whole process - I'm not sure if I explained it well - I'm also pasting the values I have changed in TRIG resource and they work fine for me. You will still need to find what symbol is there on your keyboard for a US '/', though.
/ = MoveUp10CM -> . on my keyboard ' = MoveDown10CM -> a special letter on my keyboard shift / = MoveUp1CM shift ' = MoveDown1CM q = ResetHeight shift 8 = MoveForward5CM shift 5 = MoveBackward5CM shift 4 = MoveLeft5CM shift 6 = MoveRight5CM shift d = EnableDecoratorMode control 8 = TiltForward control 5 = TiltBackward control 4 = TiltLeft control 6 = TiltRight shift q = ClearSelected control alt 4 = TurnLeft control alt 6 = TurnRight
You can try these first as a base and maybe move on from there. It's a 'try and see if it works' kind of thing, really. I also changed the numpad values to regular number keys on my keyboard because I don't have a numpad. If the numpad works for you, don't touch those. And remember, keys you enter in the TRIG resource are not the symbols you will press on your keyboard. I noted down the symbols and what they do on a paper so I wouldn't forget.
NOTE: Don't use 'q' unless you also use Awesomemod, since I believe it will quit the game. 😅 I use Awesomemod and I use 'q' key to reset the height.
I hope this helps and if you have questions, just ask either in the comments or as an ask, or just DM me - whichever you prefer. I will make additions to the post if needed.
Secret Build Techniques
Two uncommonly-known build exploits for your use- to get an extra floor, and to create a one-level open-air basement! Read more under the cut.
Sixth Floor
This allows you to create an extra sixth floor. Mainly useful for decorative use!
Build up to the five-floor limit.Â
Create a mansard roof large enough to show a floor tile.
Delete roof
Using ‘placefriezes on’, you can now place a frieze where you couldn’t before.
You can then use CFE to shape the floor to your liking.
Of note: It’s best to keep the extra floor decorative or lightly-built, as there are restrictions. You can’t build walls, roofs, nor stairs, but ladders (place beforehand), fences, and elevators work. Use ‘moveobjects on’ to place objects, doors, and windows. You can use the sledgehammer to delete the extra floor.
Open-air Basements
This allows you to create a one-level open-air basement, as teased by Sims Uni’s gym.
Create basement on a completely flat piece of ground.
Create stair in basement where you want the opening to be.
Create a foundation at the end of the staircase, one tile away.
Copy the stair and place a new stair leading from the foundation to the top of the stair to the basement.
Delete the stair to the basement.
Delete basement stair.
You can repeat this as many times as you want to create large open areas! Beyond that, it functions as a normal basement.
Of note: To delete the open-air areas, place basement stairs where you don’t want the effect, and then delete those stairs. You can then delete the basement. It’s best to keep the open-air area lightly decorated, as I believe that objects beyond doors and windows will not show above-ground even if you have object hiding disabled. The game will also only render the first basement level below ground.
Hope this helps!

Like my other legacy conversions they’re pretty shitty. Everything’s non-recolourable and deco only; the bulldozer has a few of the original swatches and one white recolour I added. There’s probably a bucketload of issues with them.
Rock canyon, railway tracks, rail elevator, railway sign, boxcars, chainsaw, fossil, dynamite, trigger and watchtower from turbosquid and free3d. Bulldozer by psychosim & kativip. Remaining objects from kativip’s excavation, s.t.a.l.k.e.r and metro sets.

CRYSTAL KAY CANDY (2003)
Having a slightly better day today so tried my hand at converting for the first time in almost a year.
It’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination since I’d forgotten most of the steps to converting but I think it’s good enough that if you guys want it I can upload it.
