2024 goals & resolutions ๐ŸŽ€

with 2024 right around the corner I figured it would be a good idea to list out some of my 2024 goals in the different areas of my life. I will have financial goals, health goals, fitness goals, academic goals, and relationship goals.

Becoming "that girl" and the trap of materialism

Becoming "that Girl" And The Trap Of Materialism

Work on your inner self before making any external changes.

It's easy to believe that the next new thing you acquire, whether that be clothes, beauty procedures etc will be the thing to solve all your problems in life. But, it probably won't. All it will be is a drain on your resources and you will still be insecure, just with more stuff. This is not to say you can't buy those things, but to be mindful of the reason why you're buying them. Do you actually want it? Or have you been led to believe you want it, by marketing, social media or what other people are doing?

Even if you don't necessarily like what you see in the mirror, it's important to have love for yourself regardless. At the end of the day, all our bodies are is a vessel for us to inhabit. Despite our best efforts, we are not always going to be looking 100% because life constantly throws stuff at us. There will be times we are so busy we don't eat as well as we should, or stress may impact our appearance through weight gain, acne or bloating. If we go seeking validation for this vessel from the outer world, we make ourselves vulnerable to attracting bad people/energy into our lives. If we are mentally in tune with ourselves, this reflects into our outer appearance and we cannot be shaken by external influences.

You can love yourself and think you'd look objectively better with a certain procedure or a different weight. You can love yourself and want to be different than the person you are currently. A desire for improvement that stems from your love of self is stable and patient. This is important because real change doesn't happen overnight. If you lack this self love, you cannot be objective about yourself and will end up in a never-ending series of 'quick-fix' changes in the impossible pursuit of perfection that will leave you worse off in the long run.

Things you can do to develop your inner state:

Shadow work - Your unresolved tensions from past events will repeat themselves until you address them.

Read/listen to podcasts about things that interest you - Don't you love seeing the way a person's face lights up when they talk about something they find fascinating?

Reducing your social media time - Social media is fake, everyone is just projecting the image they want to project and you have no clue what's truly going on in their lives. Take part but be mindful of this.

Practice gratitude and kindness everyday - To yourself and others. Thing about the simple routines in your daily life, how lucky are you to be able to partake in them? Someone's being a bit rude to you? It's nothing to do with you and everything to do with how they show up in the world, so don't take it personally. A bad personality makes a person look ugly, no matter how attractive their appearance is.

Exercise - It does wonders for mental health. Start small and work your way up. It can be as simple as taking a walk outside or following a YouTube video. Even if you give up halfway, you still showed up and gave something. Something is always better than zero.

Change your diet - Our mental state is impacted by the things we choose to put inside ourselves. If you're eating ultra processed foods like McDonalds, Doritos etc on the daily you could probably feel better than you currently do. You don't have to go crazy and cut everything cold turkey (you'll more than likely relapse), work on making small swaps for healthier versions of the things you like for a sustainable, long-term approach.

NARCISSUS; self-infatuation โ€” a guide

โ€œ Narcissistic, my god i love it โ€œ โ€“ IVE, Love Dive

one thing us girls are told is to โ€˜love ourselvesโ€™, but how do you do that ? this is a starter guide to help you start on this โ€˜self loveโ€™ journeyโ€“

NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide
NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide
NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide

๐Ÿ’‹ be gentle, but strict with yourself ! sometimes, the voice in your head has to be your own big sis. working on/ practicing discipline will allow you to develop a kind of respect for yourself, which in turn, will help you be kinder to yourself when it comes to developing yourself as a person.

๐Ÿ’‹ ignore outside negative opinions ! the person sitting in the same room as you, their opinion doesnโ€™t matter. why ? will they be there at your deathbed while you recollect your life choices ? ignore them, this is your life, and your path, your opinion matters more than anyone else's. be kinder to yourself pleaseโ€“

๐Ÿ’‹ shamelessly you ! show off the best parts of your personality to the world, we love it ! i like to see imperfect smiles and odd laughter, goofy actions that make onlookers go โ€œwow, she may be weird, but if i had that confidence, i would do the same !โ€ the biggest inspiration for me, has been random people who are being themselves so shamelessly, that they automatically gain my respect, be her !

NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide

๐Ÿ’‹ establish your style now ! a lot of us like to wait until we have accomplished something to show our true style. for example, many girls think โ€œwhen i lose this much weight, iโ€™ll start dressing the way i want !โ€ stop that line of thinking. i get that using that as a reward system can be motivating, but it will also make you dissatisfied with your present self. presenting your style now, not only helps you understand what you like at a faster rate, but it will give the people around you plenty of time to get used to the real you (before you reach your goals).

๐Ÿ’‹ establish your mindset ! how do you think ? whatโ€™s your philosophy of the world around you ? understanding factors like that will help you with paving your future. follow opportunities (finding your desired career, desired friends, desired school, desired place to live, etc.) that support this mindset, THAT is the true key to happiness !

NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide

๐Ÿ’‹ enjoy the little things ! life has multiple ups and downs. when its good, its good, and when its bad, its bad. But focusing on every bad thing; thats dangerous and not worth your time. other women donโ€™t learn this until they hit their thirties, lets listen and learn from them and enjoy the small things in life.

๐Ÿ’‹ release your positivity ! when you make people around you smile in your presence, it makes you happy as well. people will see you being so positive, that they will reflect more positivity back onto you like a mirror..

๐Ÿ’‹ have fun ! letting go every once in a while will give you motivation to continue. having fun will make you enjoy what life has to offer. No matter what position, what country, or what race you are, if you have even the slightest chance to chase the opportunity of fun, why decline ? the world is giving it to you for free !

NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide
NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide
NARCISSUS; Self-infatuation โ€” A Guide

donโ€™t forget ! during every journey, patience will be your best friend. many of us have burnt bridges with ourselves that we want to rebuild, and luckily for us, we have all the time in the world to understand ourselves, give yourself some time and understanding, she deserves itโ€“

How I have improved my routines and consistency

Hello girlies! This first week of my vacations period I have been using it as a test for my ideal routines and schedule, identifying what goes right and wrong and what changes do I need to do to be consistent and have an efficient systmem. What you'll be reading next are all the things I have done and learned to apply to have a calm, healthy, fun and fulfillling routines and daily schedule, overrall improving my lifetyle.

Identify

Energy levels: Are you a morning person or a night owl? Do you identify when do you have the most energy and when it goes down? What would be my ideal time to sleep and wake up?

What negative habits do I have? And why do I have them? With what habits I can switch them?

Why do I procrastinate? In which ways I procrastinate and distract myself?

How I want my lifestyle to look like? What habits, routines, hobbies and activities are included in my daily life? How do I act on a daily basis?

Creating my schedule and routines

Set a sleeping schedule that fits you based on your energy levels.

Create a morning, night and pampering routines that you enjoy doing, that you are comfortable with and makes you feel fulfilled.

Create (if neccesary) other routines that you need:There are probably other things you want to do that you need a routine for! For example, I have a mini manifesting routine and a weekly spiritual healing routine. I also want to create a language sudy routine too.

Include non-negotiable healthy habits: this habits are the ones that keep you healthy in body, work with your mind and give you peace. For example, some of mine are: eating 3 healthy meals, tidying up my space for 30 minutes, listening to a podcast, don't use my phone for more than three hours, etc. Also, include fun habits to help you romanticize the day and feel good.

Have time to do things I love: I have noticed that if I don't do the things I love after long period of time, meaning productive only days, I get burned out and more prone to procastinate and get distracted when I get the chance. Make sure you have time to yourself, either be it hobbies or fun activities, you will keep your mind, heart, body (if it's physical) and soul healthy!

Have time to rest and be still: We need to understand that we need rests, so we have to respect it and let us be. Also we need some minutes in silence to connect with ourselves, body and creativity out of all the noise and stimuli.

Maintaining consistency

Plan my day: I plan my daily tasks and my daily schedule, this to not procrastinate overthinking "what I'm going to do?"

Add a place and hour: For any routine, habit or activity decide "Where am I going to do it? At what time or after what habit?"

Habit stacking or multitasking: If I have a "listening habit" (podcast, subliminal, listening to high vibe music) with a "not-thinking alot habit" (tidyin up my space, do the dishes, cooking) habit I do them both at the same time. If I need to do a habit that needs my full attention then it will be done that way.

Include timers (if needed): This helps me know how much time do I need to do my habits and to know if it's taking me more or less time to complete them. I use an app where I have my routines (morning, night, weekly reset, mini manifestation and spiritual healing activities) with each habit having a timer.

Have a habit tracker: In here I write a daily log that includes filling boxes of my daily non negotiable habits and extra habits (that romanticize my life or keep me healthy). Also includes two questions: "What progress did I made today with my goals? Is there something I need tom improve or change in my system?'.

Romanticize! Your habits and activities, routine sets, daily schedule, romanticize your days your way! It's different for everyone, so find out how to add magic into your life.

Wasted day? It's never too late to do something useful. Keep going or journal about what went wrong. I like to remind myself my motivations and ideal lifestyle to mantain myself going forward.

Let's be healthy and organized together! ๐‘„ฝ๐‘„บเพ€

โ€” the 2025 princess guide:

the new year is coming and with it a chance for a new start, i created this guide to make sure i don't waste it and decided to share it with everyone.แกฃ๐ญฉ

โ€” The 2025 Princess Guide:
โ€” The 2025 Princess Guide:

FORGIVE YOURSELF AND FORGET THE PAST

don't fall trap into the whole "i said this year would be my year last time too but didn't do anything, what difference is 2025 gonna be" narrative. forgive yourself for your mistakes and use them as lessons to prevent another wasted year instead of an excuse to give up. reflect on them and identify what made you break the promises you made to yourself. were you too ambitious? did you neglect rest and ended up burning out? did you lose motivation? whatever it was learn from it and be mindful not to mess up the same way this year. failure is the best teacher.

CHOOSING YOUR RESOLUTIONS

instead of googling "new years resolutions" or copying what everyone else is doing, set resolutions that are specific to you. take a moment to sit down with yourself and ask yourself: where do i want to be a year from now? what can i do this year to bring myself closer to my dream life? what are some new things i'd like to experience? think of the bigger picture and set goals that will help you get there.

GETTING IT DONE

once your goals are set, identify the habits that will help you achieve your goals. make a routine out of them and create what would be the perfect day to you. if it feels like you have too many areas you want to work on, make two (or more) daily routines where in each one you focus on different aspects and then alternate between them.

PRACTICE ROUND

it would be unrealistic to expect yourself to immediately pick up the routine and execute it everyday, especially since you're only starting out. luckily we have a whole month until 2025 starts so there's plenty of time for you to slowly ease into it. start by only doing a couple of tasks on your list and slowly up the amount as you start to fall into rhythm. this is the perfect time for trials and errors and tweaking your routine and eliminating/changing out anything that doesnt fit in as well as you imagined

hot girl tips to be more productive

Hot Girl Tips To Be More Productive
Hot Girl Tips To Be More Productive

With a million things to do, where do we find the time? Sometimes it can be so easy to just procrastinate, not do your work and keep pushing it back till it's too late. Let's not do that anymore.

5-minute rule - start small. If you've been putting something off for a long time, trying to commit 1 hour to it can be challenging. You can't do a marathon without a warm-up first! Could you set a timer for 5 minutes to do that task? After 5 minutes if you want to continue, go for it; if you don't, that's okay, because at least you've done 5 minutes today, which is better than 0. Tomorrow or later in the day, try to challenge yourself to do 7 minutes this time, then 10, then 15, and you will get into that rhythm.

Eliminate distractions - it's all because of that damn phone ๐Ÿ™„ but seriously, tech and social media can have such a tight grip over our productivity and our attention. If you cannot control your usage, set app timers that lock the app after you use it for a certain amount of time or delete the app. I've been using a minimalist phone launcher called 'OLauncher' that removes all my icons and makes me manually have to type and search for the app. In the time it takes me to search for the app, I get to ask myself, "What am I looking for? Do I need to use it for something specific or do I just want to scroll?"

Schedule properly - note down all your commitments and non-negotiables in an app like Google Calendar and make sure all your big events are displayed there. Some people can fall into the habit of planning every second of their day, but I instead delegate a few tasks to each day and give myself any time within the day to complete them, the important thing being not when I do them, but that I do them in the end.

Write to-do lists - now this doesn't just mean in-app lists, which are very useful. Physically write them out. I use a scrap piece of paper and I write: "Today I WILL..." and then list all the things I want to get done. Having it written down helps me commit to it more and the feeling of ticking it is so satisfying.

Know your WHY - Why are you doing this? Why do you want to be more productive? Why do you want to study more? Always look at the bigger picture. Where do you want to be and how will your productivity help you get there?

Celebrate your wins - whether you completed all the things on your to-do list or just one, be proud of it. Some days, you will feel super motivated and fly through all your tasks, and other days you just want to stay in bed and do nothing. Making an effort is the first step to your success.

No matter whether your goal is to complete a project, get good grades, get into the school of your dreams, or just get your work out of the way so you can focus on other things, tackle it little by little. Just 20 minutes every day for a week is better than trying to do 140 minutes worth of work on the last day.

How I get whatever I want.

- Journal. Itโ€™s important to plot out what you want before you begin doing anything new. Sit down, concentrate, and take the time to visualize what you want for yourself. Journaling is an extremely effective tool, and itโ€™s important to be able to write about what you want instead of creating a concept in your mind.ย

- Make goals less abstract: Find or make a path to the goal, then zone out (networking, reading, research). Your goals should not be abstract or difficult for you to understand. They should be clear, planned out to the best of your ability, and reasonable enough to achieve in 90 days. If you have a long-term goal, set up a series of short-term goals that will set you on the right path.ย

- 3 month hiatus and just fixate on work. Be strict with time and money, keep a schedule, donโ€™t allow minor distractions to sway you from your path, and use the next 90 days to bring yourself closer to the finish line.ย Can your hiatus be longer than 3 months? Yes, but if it becomes necessary to extend it, be sure that youโ€™re engaging with the real world and not isolating yourself.

- You have to be sure of what waiting and a little bit of luck will do for you. So much of it is a waiting game, and while I believe that itโ€™s important to work hard instead of being hard on yourself, knowing that luck plays into your success is imperative. If you donโ€™t see immediate results, keep going until things fall into line.ย

Plan, prepare, and then put your whole soul into action.

what if god said yes

what if you got quiet. what if you got so quiet and you curled up in a little ball in your bed with a stuffed animal or a blanket or a pillow and you said, โ€œgod, can we talk?โ€ and because god is you and you are god you didnโ€™t have to wait and you didnโ€™t have to go anywhere at all andโ€”โ€œyes,โ€ god said. and you said, โ€œgod, i want an apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.โ€ โ€œgod, i want the boy with the kind eyes and tattoo-covered arms and exquisite taste in music.โ€ โ€œgod, i want to feel alive again.โ€ โ€œgod, i want to travel first-class to switzerland.โ€ โ€œgod, i want a hound dog named finn.โ€ and god said, โ€œyes.โ€ and you said, โ€œbut how can you make this happen?โ€ and god said, โ€œi can make anything happen.โ€ and you said, โ€œquickly?โ€ and god said, โ€œi love you. why would i not make this rapid?โ€ and you said, โ€œi can trust you?โ€ and god said, โ€œlike your life depends on it.โ€ and you said, โ€œmy life does depend on it.โ€ and god said, โ€œi know. iโ€™ve got it now. youโ€™re safe. let me take care of it.โ€ and you hugged god. and god hugged you. and you hugged yourself. and you drifted off to sleep saying, โ€œi have it. iโ€™m safe. i have it. iโ€™m safe. i have it. iโ€™mโ€”โ€ and you woke in the morning and the world was new. because you knew it was done. because god said yes. and god never goes back on a yes unless you tell god โ€œno.โ€ and any time throughout the day you thought, โ€œis anything happening?โ€ god said, โ€œitโ€™s all happening.โ€ and you said, โ€œbut i canโ€™t see a thing.โ€ and god said, โ€œi am your eyes.โ€ and you said, โ€œbut i donโ€™t have to do anything?โ€ and god said, โ€œyou did the only thing needed.โ€ and you said, โ€œbut what about my thoughts and my state and acting as if?โ€ and god said, โ€œi love you.โ€ and you knew what that meant. so instead of worrying or wondering or obsessing another second, you went to the bakery and bought a slice of chocolate cake and drove home and sat on your back deck and ate and ate and watched the sunset and celebrated.
