DRESS: Swankiss SHOES: ASOS _____________________________________________________________________
Larme-kei is one of my favorite J-fashion styles & I love that I’m seeing more of it’s inspiration in stores! I often see a lot of heart motifs, velvet, satin, lace, ruffles and other feminine elements. The typical color palettes are blacks, off whites, pinks, lilacs, light blues, and deep reds. There’s definitely a Hollywood boudoir meets 50s barbie feel to it and as somebody who also adores rockabilly/pin-up the crossover makes me closet a happy place to be. Swankiss is a super prominent brand within the substyle. While this isn’t an “official” blog write-up on all the glory that is Larme fashion I implore you check out my friend Eri @ Petite Dollies (a true Larme-kei expert & cutie pie).

Non-Aesthetic Fitness and Health Goals 🏃🏼♀️🥥🧘🏼♀️
Here are some health and wellness goals that don’t revolve around weight or appearances. Working out should always be for your health and well-being rather than looks. You have one body and you have to be able to make it last. Your body is the house where your soul lives.
To be able to fully touch your toes.
To run a mile nonstop (doesn’t matter the pace just to not stop)
Do a handstand
To be able to do the splits
10 regular push-up
10 pull ups unassisted
To be able to swim a mile nonstop (same as the running)
To have good posture and core strength
Walk/jog a 5k
To be able to lift half your body weight (great goal to build up to and very practical for real life)
To get off the ground without using your hands (amazing for as you age being able to get up easier)
Be able to balance on one foot for a minute at a time.
To be able to sit in an Asian squat (great for mobility in all your leg joints)
To reduce joint pain. (Depending on the specific joint pain it can be caused by lack of strength in the muscles around the leg and you can look up specific workouts for your problem)
To improve in your chosen sport
That’s all I have for now. I wanted these goals to be attainable (some are easier than others) and not based on how you look because not only is it discouraging but it’s also not as fun to only think about looks. These goals are also great for longevity of your body and also safety. Being strong and fit is a privilege. Let me know if you guys have any questions!

Drink at least 2 bottles (or more) of water each day. Staying hydrated can boost energy levels, aid body in breaking down waste & help clear your skin by flushing out toxins!
Make your bed first thing in the morning - because a clean space can lead to a clean mind!
Do a quick 3-to-10-minute cardio workout 4-5x a week. Doing so can boost your mood and confidence while helping you build consistency. This habit can pave the way for exercising more often and for longer periods, contributing to your overall glow-up journey!
Meditate for 5 minutes or more. Doing so grounds you in the present moment and helps you tune into thoughts or physical feelings you might be ignoring. It's a simple way to relax and melt away stress.
Affirm regularly! Affirmations can rewire your subconscious beliefs and dissolve mental blockages. Remember, lasting external change starts with internal transformation—if you don’t trust or love yourself, you might unknowingly block the abundance you’re manifesting.
Spend more time creating, not consuming! Logging out and diving into art, music, writing, or any form of creativity feeds your soul in ways scrolling never will. It’s a chance to recharge your mind, discover new passions, and find fulfillment in making something truly your own.
Go outside, boo! Yeah, sprawling on your bed sounds super tempting (I get it), but we need sunlight! Take a small walk around your neighborhood, visit a park, or simply sit on your porch or backyard. The sun's rays are packed with vitamin D, which supports strong bones, boosts your immune system, and even improves your mood. And spending time outdoors can help clear your mind, reduce stress, and reconnect you with nature.
Prioritize rest and sleep. Glow-ups don’t happen overnight—literally! While hustle culture pushes the idea of “never stop” to become the ultimate “it girl,” true productivity starts with balance. Rest isn’t laziness—it’s an essential recharge. How can we show up as our best, higher selves if we’re running on empty? We’re not machines. Rest—both physically and mentally—is the foundation for sustainable growth, glowing skin, and thriving in every way.
While this post was originally written for me, I hope these tips inspire or help someone else on their journey too. Remember, the most productive thing you can ever do is prioritize yourself. Care for your body, nurture your mind, and show yourself the same kindness you so freely give to others—you deserve it. Appreciate who you are right now. Self-improvement shouldn’t come from a place of self-hate—you’re not something that needs fixing or a puzzle piece that has to fit in with the crowd. Work on yourself for yourself, because you love who you are, and want to see yourself thrive. 👑💐🩷

i have like, a million posts about glowing up but one more won't harm anyone.
brush your teeth 2x a day for 2 minutes. use mouthwash. and, don't let your teeth rot until your next dentist appointment.
always move around. this should be obvious, but you can't just lay in your bed all day scrolling on your phone. go on a walk, do yoga, or an actual workout. but you have to move.
some good youtubers to watch for your confidence journey are: tam kaur, thewizardliz, persephonesmind, eléonora oxa, manifestelle, lenalifts, trindingtopic, simonesquared, and sheraseven. now, don't expect to just stop caring overnight. it'll take a while, but it'll be worth it.
girl, please stop wearing that shirt with a band that you don't even listen to. it's not embarrassing to wear the same thing multiple times, but sometimes it's just too much. save up your allowance to go shopping. or, get your birthday and/or xmas wishlist ready with clothes you want.
