Have you ever dreamed of being not just an ordinary monarch but an emperor? Well, during Middle Ages that title mostly went to a German. But this comfortable residence allows you to catch the feeling of imperial power:

It’s no castle because medieval Emperors did not settle at a permanent residence. Instead, they travelled across their gigantic realm and used so called palatia (sg. Palatium or Pfalz in German). This lot is modelled after these great residences (especially from the 10th century). I tried to stay faithful to Romanesque architecture (excuse the Gothic windows) and because this is set in an early period you won’t find too much lavish decoration.

IN3S Piercings

I was digging around my external hard drive and found my downloads folders for sims 3 from waaaaayyy back, like years ago when I first tried the game but didn’t like it and went back to playing sims 2. IN3S had a mega folder for their downloads but it no longer exists so I thought I’d pack up a few things I have of theirs and put them up for download for those who never got the chance to snatch them before they disappeared.

Here are all the piercings I have from them. Some piercings have doubles because this was before “multiple accessories per location” existed and they are categorized as different accessories. ^^

I take no credit whatsoever for this download, all credit belongs to IN3S. I just clicked a few things (I mean, I spend more time drawing those cats than making this download ^^).

Sims 3  Standalone Tub & Sauna | Mod the Sims

I gave a hand to the Great Arsil to separate the meshes of the tub and the sauna, and he did all the hard job of coding. Read more and download @ MTS!

Private Clinic - Psychiatry

Ever want to do something to help all the messed up Sims in your town? With this mod, your Sim can run a private clinic as a therapist.

You can join the Psychiatry career, buy a Therapist couch and start treating patients for all their emotional and mental maladies. Using a clinic controller object, patients will be pushed to your clinic lot in need of treatment. Active patients can be identified by the orange and white symbol over their head (pictured above).

This is the first part of a larger game mod that allows Sims to be more active doctors similar to what we have in TS4 Get to Work. Your Sim will be able to run a clinic out of their house or from a commercial lot and treat patients for different ailments. Eventually you'll be able to play as a Psychiatrist, Optometrist, Ob-GyM, or a General Physician.

This mod also adds two additional features:

Medicine - Sims can buy prescription or over-the-counter medicine to treat various mild ailments. Medicines can be purchased at the grocery store (Home section) or Buy catalog. There is also a collection file where you can find all available objects. Prescription medicine can only be obtained at the grocery store or hospital with a prescription.

Drug Addiction - Sims can get addicted to the prescription medicine if they overuse it. This can lead to withdrawal symptoms and potential overdose. There is an option to go to rehab at the hospital for Sims that need the help to kick the habit.

You need NRaas Careers (for the custom career), University, Island Paradise, Ambitions EPs.

The Private Clinic main module has all the medicines, the clinic controller and addiction system. You need that to play as a Therapist but if you just want the medicines, you only need to download these files. Note that you cannot write prescriptions or do anything doctor related without downloading the Psychiatry module. Download here

The Psychiatry module is required to play as a therapist. The career is optional but some features won't be available without it. Download here

There are documentation files in both folders that go through the features in detail so PLEASE READ through them before downloading.

Google translate is a free app. BoringBones wrote a whole blog explaining the process of his ‘Get Out’ Project.  Do not immediately be put off seeing a blog post in a language different to yours. English is not everybody’s default. SEEK for understanding before lambasting anybody that you could have approached privately in a chat. At the very least. Damn.

I FIRST found out about Arsil’s mod FROM BoringBones, who ALSO points out Arsil is a skilled modder, but explained the features of the ‘LeavingHome’ package that made it different. There was no attempt at trying to pass this particular module off as their own. What recognition is Arsil not getting?
