Into The Future Soil Rugs With Additional Invisible Presets - default replacement

This was requested by @echoweaver (sorry it took me so long to upload!). I added a second invisible preset to all five ITF soil rugs so they are a bit more versatile. I decided against replacing the original texture with an empty one because I didn't want it to mess up pre-built houses in Oasis Landing, so instead I added a new preset. Because of that, I had to edit the .OBJD resources along with the textures, so if you're using these hiders by @bioniczombie, make sure to delete the hiders for these rugs!

This idea came while I was building a café. I just wanted to put a croissant on a plate. I couldn’t find a decorative plate with a containment slot and wondered what’s the point of a plate Sims can’t use?

These act as surfaces your Sims can grab and eat morsel-like custom foods from. No more eating off the table or the floor! 😱

Standalone object. Unlike normal plates they won’t disappear off community lots and cannot be cleaned up by Sims.

Default replacements will override the first preset if one is installed.

More suited towards buffets than formal dining as, unless instructed to ‘Pick Up’, ‘Sit’, and then ‘Eat Morsel’, Sims will eat while standing up.

EA Kelp as Edible Raw Meat for Vampires (Nona Dried Food Mod REQUIRED)

If you use the Nraas Hybrid mod to make mermaid-vampire sims, it's a headache getting them to eat a effing thing that's not plasma-based. So I took EA's Kelp mesh and slapped Nona's script on it, to make it "raw food" that can fill a vampire's Thirst need. (I HIGHLY recommend also using Nona's other raw foods--there's a nice juicy fish vamps can eat, which I used in my IWTV post here.)

Severinka Hippocampus as IP EP Jetski (IP EP REQUIRED)

(The harness mesh was shamelessly ripped/reshaped from Mermaidia's Seahorse Taxi. I didn't place the handles as well as I probably should have, but oh frikkin well.) I was too lazy to make this fully recolorable (you can kinda sorta recolor it, since I put the textures in the Multiplier not the Overlay)--but it does come in 4 color variations:

TheVintageSim Fringe Hammock REDONE (Functional Loveseat)

I've been wanting this decor hammock as a functional loveseat for frikkin ever. This gameplay gave me the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and make it. The mesh is rescaled to fit EA loveseats. Fully recolorable, comes in multiple variations, like the original.

Pocci's Jellyfish

I was so jealous that Pocci remade their TS3 Jellyfish ceiling lights for TS4 without the obnoxious strings dangling from the ceiling, so I went and made their Jellyfish 01 & 02 stringless myself. Then I made the Jellyfish as a Teddy Bear. The clipping & joints aren't great, but it works and I'm tired.

Venus Girdle Inspired Table Light

It's amazing, the kind of IRL deep-sea critters you learn about, just by reading mermaid fanfiction.

They come in a bunch of variations. Two are based on IRL portions of the Madaba Map, for no good reason, other than I just needed a medievalesque mosaic map #ForReasons.

Ivy as Ceiling Light

I made sure there were no backfaces on the ivy mesh, so you could still see inside the lot from a bird's eye view. (I used these with the TW3 Bulb Lights I converted here.)

Simszoo Tree REDONE (RECOLORABLE as Outdoor Light)

I made this tree recolorable and an outfoor light--I wish I knew how to make only the leaves glowe, not the whole frikkin trunk. Ah well.

Pocci Sakura Vase REDONE (Translucent)

All I did was change the texture of the flowers so they were crystal/see-through.

Game, Sim, Match | Tennis Collection for The Sims 3

Hey, I'm back again! This time, I bring you functional tennis. Set machinima/music video: Game, Sim, Match | The Sims 3 Important info and download 💾 under the cut:

This project has been three years in the making. I started this back in 2020 after getting permission from Basimcly (aka lemmylou) to use their meshes. For various reasons, it got shelved until earlier this year. I've been on a CC creation kick this year, and in the midst of some not-so-great times that occurred from late March to early May, I decided to take on this project again as a distraction, and I put all my effort into it. I used to play tennis myself, and modeled the tennis court in the previews after the one I spent far too many summer days on (it's missing the cracks it has today)...likewise, the soundtrack to the little film I linked above was one of the top 10 songs that year, so it's the most nostalgic song looking back on that summer I started playing. This set is a combination of different elements. - This set requires the University Life 📚 expansion pack. Since this is a cosmetic change to the ping pong table, which comes with UL, you will need that pack for the actual tennis court object's functionality, and for the tuning mod. The deco objects (besides the tennis court objects) will work fine with base game. You can also still use the collection file for the objects even if you do not have UL. 📌 Default Replacements - First, the tennis is really ping pong in disguise. The tennis racket and tennis ball are default replacements. While I have provided several colors for each, you can only have one of each in your game at one time, because whichever color racket and tennis ball you choose, it will replace all ping pong paddles and all ping pong balls with the chosen color, so all sims will use the same color. Keep in mind that sims playing ping pong at the tables that came with the University Life expansion pack will also use these replacements, so you have to decide if it's worth the tradeoff. Default Replacement Mesh Credits: - The tennis racket mesh (offered as a default replacement and an edited fully recolorable deco object version) was created by LillieBou on TSR (2010). Tennis Set - LillieBou -The tennis ball mesh (offered as a default replacement and a deco object version) was created by Basimcly aka lemmylou (2020). Game. Set. Match. - Basimcly's Tumblr 📌 Tuning Mod - By EA design, sims will learn the hidden table tennis skill as they play, and will gradually get better. The higher their table tennis skill, the more "real" this set looks, as sims play more skillfully. - With the tuning mod, sims at least level 1 in Athletic will also improve their Athletic skill by playing tennis. I added the Fatigued moodlet if sims play for too long, and enabled playing for pregnant sims. The tuning mod will only conflict with any mod that also modifies the PlayPingPong_PingPongTable ITUN resource. 📌 Tennis Court Objects - As for the tennis court objects, these are ping pong tables that look like tennis courts. The mesh was created by Basimcly aka lemmylou who was kind enough to let me use their meshes for this project! - You may notice that there are four versions of the tennis court object. You can have all four versions in your game. They are all the same object with slight differences - the Volleying tennis court has the ping pong table's original routing spots, so sims stand very close to the net and all animations line up. The Match tennis courts have the routing spots moved gradually farther away. Some animations with the ball get a bit strange the further away, but I included these for variety. So if you place a few different courts down next to each other, sims playing will be standing in different spots, adding to realism for photos/videos. - The animations are designed with a table in mind, so the ball does not touch the ground. When sims lose the match, they will throw their racket down, but it will also not touch the ground. Slightly annoying, but close enough. 📌 Decorative & Functional Objects

I have also included several decorative and functional items. Most of these are meshes that were created by Basimcly/lemmylou and the one by LillieBou, with modifications.

- All of the items were recategorized to show up on both community and residential lots and to not show up in Sporting Goods if deco,

-some items I removed or modified the dropshadows (for more of a maxis match game),

- I replaced any English text with Simlish versions,

- I included matching recolors for the tennis balls in the various states they come in (single, package, package opened, catchable),

- modified footprints and intersection for various items,

- changed the transparency of the tennis ball packs,

- and modified the recolor-ability of LillieBou's deco racket.

- Added an original tennis court rules sign, a recolor of EA's pool rules. 🔍 Search: To make it easier to find the objects in build/buy mode, a collection file is provided. You can also search for riverianepondsims, lemmylou, lilliebou, or tennis to locate the items conveniently using a catalog search mod. Allotments Mod - Download

I made this mod for @desiree-uk! It's being shared as per her suggestion. A big thank you to her and I hope you all enjoy!

Put your community (or residential) gardens to use! Create and rent allotments, push gardening interactions and make a nice profit while you're at it.

Place the allotment marker in a gated enclosure, set the sim who will be renting the allotment, and they'll take care of all the plants within their enclosure, plus partake in other specified duties.

Available Duties - Toggle on/off - [visibility subject to lot-type]

Water,

Weed,

Harvest,

Get Fertiliser**,

Fertilise Plants,

Dispose of Dead Plants,

Rake Leaves,

Burn or Dispose Leaves.

Gardening Push

As the allotment marker is a meta object, the sim renting the marker may autonomously be pushed to the lot to garden their allotment while inactive.

The marker is also a broadcaster object, so while within the vicinity, the renter will be pushed to complete any outstanding garden activities while in range.

You can also set up dedicated gardening days to push your sim to the lot and prevent your sim from coming to garden during certain seasons.

Payment

Set an owner for the allotment or attach a Bronzo* bank to the marker and make your sim pay to use the space! You can even set up automatic rent payments.

Harvesting

Link a harvest box to the allotment marker and all harvested produce will go straight into the box instead of clogging up your sims inventory. You can also sell produce straight from the box!

Requirements:

*My social clubs mod and **Ani's compost mod. Without these, the mod will at worst, crash, and at best, not work as intended.

Please read the included documentation for a more comprehensible feature breakdown.

A collection file is included for easy access to the objects.

Otherwise: the harvest box is in storage/misc. for $190 and the allotment marker is in outdoors/lawn ornaments for $35.

I was eating one of my absolute favorite foods, Chicken Alfredo the other night, when the realization that I know how to make custom recipes sunk in, and I had a new idea. And that idea turned into this!! Here are 3 new Fettuccine Alfredo Recipes for the Sims 3!!!!

These all require Level 4 Cooking Skill and can be served during Lunch and Dinner.

Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Garlic, Butter, and Parmesan Cheese

Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Shrimp, Garlic, and Parmesan Cheese.

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Chicken Breast, Garlic, and Parmesan Cheese.

Please Note: The Butter, Parmesan Cheese, Chicken Breast, and Shrimp ingredients come from various cooking mods, but because all 3 of the recipes have Garlic, a Base Game included ingredient, they are also Base Game Compatible and you don’t need to download the mods if you don’t want to.
