Hairdresser Mod Update

Hello everyone! Kinda dropped off the face of the internet the other day; to apologise, here’s an update of the hairdressing mod!

New features: 

Temporarily dye your sims’ hair for a tuneable length of time. Once your sims’ roots and eyebrows grow out, it’ll be time for a retouch! 

Hairdressers can now try and impress salon bystanders into being clients with new social interactions such as: ‘Impress with skill’, ‘Name drop famous clients’, etc. 

Sims with ‘Bad Hair Day’ buff can try and fix their hair in the mirror.

Fixed Features: 

Pets will no longer get the ‘Bad Hair Day’ buff. Going into CAS will no longer change sims’ age. Tooltip now visible on social interactions.

Shorter Foundations Tutorial

Someone asked me if it was possible to create shorter foundations in TS3, as it is in TS4. While we don’t have the convenient slider, it is possible! And it’s not too difficult either. So I took some quick pictures to illustrate the process. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Buyable Weather Stone - for TS3 (requires both Supernatural and Seasons)

It’s very annoying being unable to place the Weather Stone where you like, just hoping for it to appear in a barely acceptable lot… Well, now this boring wait is over: place it wherever you want, and how many Weather Stones you can desire, they will work fine, at your command! (It’s a bit tricky placing them, so follow the instructions above) Under Outdoors/Outdoors activities or Entertainment/Miscellaneous entertainment, for just 1 §. Spicy Animation Fix 🥵

This mod fixes the fire breathing animation error when a sim gets the Spicy or Too Spicy moodlet that forces them into the sitting animation, rather than playing the proper standing animation.

Place in your Overrides folder.

Requires The Sims 3: Supernatural for the animations.

Conflicts

Conflicts with any mod that edits the following animations:

Hey guys!

So, there are lot of different places you can download EA’s store content. The purpose of how I do it was to give you the option to pick and choose the items you want. Everything is individualized, but since I’ve finished the majority of the work, there’s been a lot of asks for an easy way to download everything in one go. I’ve slowly been uploading bulk versions of each set, but that’s not exactly what you’re all asking for right?

This is the best compromise I found. My store content folder looks like this:

(FORGOTTEN is what I call the limited sets that you can’t find on the store anymore. ie: Dr Pepper sets)

I have merged every piece of store content I’ve uploaded in these 6 huge files (the biggest is 2GB) with the separated folder for content that also needs to standalone to work properly. 

THIS works for me. BUT

It doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. I’ve decided to share these, but I cannot guarantee this format will work for you and I will not be uploading a different set up. I will not be helping you troubleshoot problems associated to this - you download and use at your own risk.

You’ll find the 6 files and folder to put in your Mods/Packages.

Everything has been compressed using https://www.7-zip.org/ because I have limited google drive storage.

🌼 Default Replacement Wildflowers 🌼

to celebrate my one year anniversary of this blog, a small gift! this is something i’ve wanted for ages - a default replacement of the wildflowers (without the weird red vase, what was ea thinking??) i ended up changing some of the flower types to something that i thought was prettier! the text changes are currently only in ENGLISH, but if you would like to translate this mod, send me a message! (i would have loved to add other types of wildflower like larkspur or yarrow, but all of them share the same mesh so i had to keep it simple)
