This is the final part of my little Kids and Toddlers mod series. It's meant to complement the Coloring Book and the Toddler foods mods so you will need those for this.
When I started this, I didn't think through how many new animations or custom details it would entail and I as continued, I kept having to add more and more. There are like 60 animations and 40 image assets đ hence why the two main files are so large for a mod.
What I've done is added more activities to the Activity Table after years of being annoyed that the Activity Table we have in TS3, despite being the EXACT SAME table from TS2, does not in fact allow your Sims to draw on it. EA, so lazy!
Anyway, what this does is add 4 new interactions to the Activity Table: Coloring, Arts & Crafts, Puzzles and the ability to serve toddlers food so they can eat there.
The activities are for toddlers and kids only but Teens+ can join in the puzzles if it's already been started by a toddler or child.
Note this will work with any of the Activity Tables in the game or Store but the puzzle will look weird as it's placed in the same spot as where the blocks are. You can use it with custom/cc activity tables provided only the mesh has been edited (for example, if slots are changed or removed, it may not work).
Credits/Thanks: The glue bottle, crayon, CAS paint items and one of the arts and crafts image assets are from @aroundthesims. Thanks as always to Sandy for her generosity and creativity in making Sims content! I originally only wanted to add the option to color/draw but this set of hers inspired me to add in more features. (hmm, maybe I shouldn't be thanking you then considering what a pain that was đ€đ ) All other objects and images are from TS4. Custom animations are by me using TS4 and TS3 as bases.
All buyable objects (table, crayons, puzzles) can be found in Kids Room/Toys.
Check out my other mods in the Kids and Toddlers series: Coloring Book for Kids, Toddler Bed, Toddler Foods and Snacks.
If you run into any issues (and YOU'VE READ THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS) please let me know!
Please read below the cut for all the details on features and how to play.

Coloring: Toddlers and Kids can color if there is a crayon box on the lot. Just like using a coloring book, coloring a picture will take up one crayon. Coloring increases painting skill for both. When completed, the final project will be in their inventory.
Arts & Crafts: Toddlers and Kids can do an arts and craft project. Not additional object is needed. They go pretty crazy with the glitter and glue so it can be dirty stuff if they don't have the neat trait. This activity decreases their hygiene and they will get covered in glitter paint when done. Similar to coloring, when completed, the final project will go in their inventory and they get painting skill while playing.
Puzzles: You need to buy a puzzle box and have it on your lot to do puzzles. There are two puzzle boxes but they do the same thing. And they stack! (I love stackable things) There are 3 puzzle types: Easy, medium and Hard. Toddlers can only do Easy puzzles. Children can do either easy, medium or Hard puzzles depending on their Logic skill (for Hard, logic needs to be 3 or higher). The puzzle difficulty will also determine how long it takes to complete the puzzle. Teens+ can help with puzzles but they can't start a puzzle on their own. Toddlers can kids can start a puzzle on their own or help another Sim with a puzzle. Puzzles increase Logic skill for all those playing it but will increase faster for whoever starts the puzzle. If a puzzle is completed, everyone who helped put it together will get bonus skill points. If there is already a puzzle on the table, there is no option to start another, you can only help with the current puzzle. There are different puzzle images (15 in total) but there's no difference between them. The only thing that matters is puzzle difficulty. If the Sim who started the puzzle stops for whatever reason (you or the game cancels the interaction), everyone else helping will stop as well.
Eating: Children+ can serve toddlers meals or snacks. It works the same as my Toddler Foods and Snacks mod. They will place the tray/bowl on the activity table and then call the toddler to eat. If the toddler is hungry, they will go over and start eating. Otherwise, they can always eat it later.
Known Issues:
Animations aren't perfect (but what in life is?) so there's some clipping, especially on the toddlers when they kneel.
The comically large puzzle piece accessory jumps around a little and sits kind of weird in the toddler's hand. I suspect this is because the game is using the adult version of the object animation. I've noted it for fixing whenever I do a second pass on the mod.
The food tray is upside down. Setting object rotation in-game messes up the routing for the table so I'm leaving it as is as it doesn't really bother me.
If there is a food tray or bowl on the table, you shouldn't be able to do anything else there because that slot/part is being used but I had this happen once where my tester child started coloring there. It didn't happen again but if it does happen in your game, simply cancel out the interaction and route them to another part of the table.
The puzzle leaves a shadow even when it's pile form because the shadow mesh is there but you only see it until the geostate changes.
This is not an issue but the alternate material states for objects are only available in high so if you play with graphic settings for objects on medium or low, you're going to see the default image for the puzzles or pictures.

1) First build a foundation with the foundation tool (NOT the basement tool!).
Now make the foundation hollow where you want your basement to be leaving just the outer tile of it.
2) Make sure to switch off auto-roof and to remove all auto roofs.
3. On the ground, use the stair tool to lower the terrain. Hold shift to control the number of stair steps. I usually do it in 3 sets of 4 steps as I cannot count to 12 :P (A regular wall is 16 steps high, a foundation is 4 steps high per default, so you need to lower the terrain 12 steps).
4. Remove the stairs and use the terrain flatten tool to lower the ground in all of your basement. Start at the lowered tile and draw the tool towards the foundation walls. Lower it only to the inner walls of the foundation so that the terrain on the outside is not affected. The foundation will hide the slope.
If you did it correctly, you can now place walls without an error message or need of cfe.
5. Best make your floor plan now and place your stairs, they sometimes are a bit finicky.
6. Now use the foundation tool to remove the parts of the foundation, where you want to have your windows
and replace them with walls
Now you can place whatever windows you want. Just make sure that the green arrows point inwards (in direction of the lowered terrain), or the window might âjumpâ to adjust to regular terrain height.
You can decorate as you want, you can also place doors instead of windows and make a little âsunk patioâ if you want to.Â
well hello there~ im here with cc free sims that someone asked for :) hope you guys enjoy them if you do add them to your game! do with them as you please haha (idc what you do tbh as long as you credit if you use them as a base)⊠click their pictures for their names or get to know them under the cut!

I have something a little bit different for you all today! As much as I love the gardening skill in the The Sims 3, Iâve always disliked how round the fruit trees are. In my opinion, the fruit trees (a.k.a. ambrosial trees) from The Sims 2: Seasons look much more realistic, so I converted the mesh and made a default replacement to bring them into the Sims 3! This project would not have been possible without Lyraleiâs Default Replacement Tutorial.Â
There arenât any growth states between planted and mature, but there are proper textures for Fall, Winter, Wilted, Dead, and the Money Tree. The mesh itself has 1794 Vertices and 1903 Faces.
Place this package file in your Mods -> Overrides folder.

Hi I'm wondering what you mean when you say you clean your cc? Thank you!
Oh Lordy, this is a long one but I will try to get it all in:
General points:
Once I download CC I rename it using ReNamer to remove any special sighs like &/%([ etc, as reading those can slow down the game
Then I will give each object a code before it like âObj_kid_â or âCAS_top_afâ so I know what it is
I donât rename the actual file name, cause if I redownload it forgetting I already have it, then if it keeps the file name I will realize its a duplicate
Then I run all my new CC through s3rc to compress it
Then it goes in a âtestâ folder under mods first to make sure its not corrupt
If its okay, a copy goes into a Backup folder, where like the codes I have a file for everything, so CAS>Hair>AF, Build>Walls etc. This means I always know where to find my CC
Then I put it into CC Magic where again I have the same folder set-up. I NEVER manually merge, its a pain and you cannot undo it.
I NEVERRRRRRRRR install sims3packs, I always convert to .package using s3ce
Specific Points:
Patterns: I convert them to packages then fix them following this tutorial
Houses: I convert them to packages using s3ce, then I usually use dashboard to find the lot file and put that into my Library Folder, and IF (usually not the case) I want the CC from the houses I may look through the other package files. Usually I donât as I will get a million duplicates, shit loads of clutter. Installing a house as sims3pack can mean up to 600 files installed! And if you install 2 houses you probably have like 200 duplicate files that are in both. Again, NEVER install sims3packs!
Clothing/Accesories: Now often creators donât know about this method of keeping their file sizes down, so I open each bit of clothing in s3pe, delete ALL duplicate images. This will mess it up, so I then open them in TSRW, make sure to replace the missing images using âBrowseâ while also deleting any presets I donât want or any stencils I dislike. This usually likes halves the file size! I will also make sure it is in all the categories I want and not for any silly categories or valid for random.
AF Clothes: So I made my own preg morph (EAâs bump is too small) so in addition to the above I actually remorph all my AF clothes to have a bigger bump ;)
Hair: Again, just check for correct categories
Makeup: I sort my makeup, so all nosemasks go into Eyeliner, all eyebags go into Eyeshadow, all babyhairs go into Lipstick. Then, as creators often forget, I enable makeup for teens and elders too. For Blush, I also enable it for toddlers and kids.
Contacts: I enable them for kids and toddlers if creators have forgotten
Poses: I have a special folder for poses, and if they are not poselist enabled I will save the preview picture online and rename it to the pose code, so I have a sorted folder with photos of all my poses
Skins: Each skin is opened in Skininator and given my ramps and a special icon with the name of the skin (I hate berry ramps and donât need 5 ramps per skin). In this way my skin panel is very organized. In addition, I use âCOMPACT SAVEâ in skiniator. I dunno why creators donât but it drastically reduced the file size. I saved 3GB of CC just by resaving my skinsâŠ.
Objects: Just make sure they are categorized the way I want. I also remove half the stuff from âMisc Decorâ and stick it somewhere else. Aka, pillows/blankets go into âsculptureâ for me and are also sorted into âbedsâ if they are for beds.
My mods folder used to be a mess, with merged packages, duplicates and a lot of CC I didnât use. It had 36GB. Now I am down to 10GB literally just by cleaning my CC. I lost 6GB alone just by removing duplicate _IMG files and compressing my CC and skinsâŠ.
Obviously most people donât have the patience to do all the above, but hey, I load my game fully in super speed, I donât have any lag whatsoever and in build/buy mode my categories load faster cause I donât have loads of CC I donât need.
Oh yeah, my FAQ page also tells you ways to get your game to run faster ;)
Hope this helps you Nonny!
How China, Japan, and South Korea are teaming up against U.S. tariffsâwhat it means for global trade, your wallet, and Trumpâs 2025 comeback agenda.
China, Japan, and South Korea are aligning on a tariff response to U.S. trade moves.
Trumpâs new âLiberation Dayâ tariffs are set to go live April 2, aiming to "level the playing field."
Critics say American consumers will foot the bill, while Trump supporters call it economic justice.
Bonus: We break down tariffs like youâre 10, so your kid could explain this at the dinner table.
In a rare show of economic coordination, China, Japan, and South Korea have announced theyâll team up to respond to U.S. tariffs. This comes after the first high-level economic dialogue in five years between the trio. The countries are mulling over a joint free trade agreement, supply chain cooperation, andâyesâa collective response to what they see as aggressive U.S. trade tactics.
And whoâs poking the trade bear again?
đŻ Enter Donald J. Trump
Trump, now campaigning hard for the 2024â2025 comeback tour, is rolling out a new batch of tariffs on April 2, a date heâs dubbed âLiberation Dayâ. His targets? Automobiles, electronics, steel, aluminumâyou name it, itâs probably on the list.
The goal, according to the Trump camp: âFair and Reciprocal Trade.â The U.S. should no longer be the âworldâs discount mall,â they argue.
Letâs decode the two main camps:
â The Right: Trumpâs Supporters SayâŠ
Itâs about time someone called out the imbalance in global trade deals.
Other countries impose high tariffs on American goods while enjoying open U.S. markets.
Tariffs will protect American jobs, revive domestic manufacturing, and reduce the trade deficit.
âWeâre being used,â Trump recently said. âThese tariffs send a message: America isnât for sale.â
đ In their eyes, tariffs are economic nationalism done right.
â The Left: Critics Warn...
Tariffs act like taxes on American businesses and consumers.
They risk inflation by making imported goods more expensive.
Could destabilize global trade and lead to retaliatory measuresâwhich is already starting with China, Japan, and South Korea.
U.S. allies arenât fans eitherâeven Japan and South Korea have pushed back, saying they're being unfairly targeted.
đ In their view, tariffs are economic own-goals with political overtones.
GroupImpactU.S. ConsumersHigher prices for cars, electronics, and even foodManufacturersMore expensive raw materials like steel and aluminumFarmers & ExportersRetaliatory tariffs abroad could reduce demandInvestorsMarket jitters due to geopolitical tension
According to the Tax Foundation, tariffs could cost the average U.S. household hundreds per year, with only marginal benefits for protected industries.
Okay, imagine this:
You have a lemonade stand, and your friend from Canada wants to sell you lemons for $1 each. But your neighbor across the street also sells lemonsâbut for $2.
To help your neighbor (because, hey, they live here!), your parents say: âIf you buy lemons from Canada, you have to pay $1 extra per lemon.â Thatâs a tariff.
So now:
Canadian lemons cost $2 ($1 + $1 tariff).
Your neighborâs lemons are the same priceâno tariff.
You might just buy local now.
Thatâs how tariffs protect domestic sellers. But guess what? Youâthe buyerâare stuck with higher prices, no matter what.
đĄïž To Protect Local Jobs
Keeps local factories open by making foreign goods more expensive.
đ° To Raise Money
Historically, tariffs were like toll booths. Less relevant today, but still a source of revenue.
âïž To Fight âUnfairâ Trade
If another country is cheating (like selling goods too cheap), tariffs level the playing field.
đŁ To Apply Pressure
Itâs not just about moneyâsometimes tariffs are used to make countries change their policies.
But hereâs the kicker: They can backfireâespecially in a globalized economy. Companies rely on international supply chains, and disruption = cost.
China, Japan, and South Korea are signaling: "You tax us? We tax back."
If this spirals into a full-blown trade war, expect:
Even U.S. allies are wary. Tokyo and Seoul have publicly disputed parts of Chinaâs statement, but everyone agrees: Trumpâs tariffs are stirring the pot.
That depends on whom you ask.
đŁ Fair According to:
Steelworkers in Ohio
Policy hawks who hate Chinaâs subsidies
Nationalists who want to re-shore jobs
đ Unfair According to:
Small businesses reliant on cheap imports
Families trying to stretch every dollar
Free trade economists who argue global markets drive innovation
With âLiberation Dayâ just around the corner, keep an eye on:
April 2 tariffs implementation
Market reactionsâespecially auto and tech stocks
ChinaâJapanâSouth Korea coordination
Whether other alliesâEU, Canada, Mexicoâget dragged into the crossfire
Like any good game, international trade works best with rules, respect, and teamwork. Tariffs might offer a short-term score, but long-term? You need cooperation, not confrontation.
Whether Trumpâs tariffs are a home run or a boomerang remains to be seen. But one thingâs for sure: the worldâs watching.
Trumpâs tariffs are back, branded as âFair and Reciprocal.â
China, Japan, and South Korea are coordinating a united front.
Tariffs help some industries but raise prices for consumers.
Trade wars risk global economic instability.
Understanding tariffs = understanding modern geopolitics.

Note: this does NOT go in depth into all of the song's lyrics. I don't have time to recount two decades of his discography. This is just a summary of the performance itself.
Let's start with the first visual we get:
UNCLE SAM - most notably recognized from WWII American wartime propaganda, Uncle Sam is the personification of American patriotism and freedom. The term "uncle" is also evocative of Uncle Tom from Uncle Tom's Cabin, an abolitionist book that aided in inciting the Civil War. Uncle is also a very common term (both endearment and derogatory) towards Black men (eg. "unc"). Samuel L Jackson was fantastic.
Uncle Sam also resembles a circus ringleader, notable for my next point:
THE GREAT AMERICAN GAME - no, not Super Bowl. The GAG is us the people being pitted against each other: through late-stage capitalism, through the culture war, through class warfare, through being built of the backs of slaves. We are all players in the GAG because none of us on this site were the oligarchs seated at the inauguration.
This is also seen as Kendrick's stage was a Play Station controller. Not only did it remind of circus rings visually, but it was a game battle stage. The Great American Game is a battle royale of the commoners for the amusement of the rich whites.
Remember the foods / Them color was tin and brown / But now they 100 and blue - For this I'll just say, look what the last election said about lowering the price of eggs... and look at the prices now.
The revolution about to be televised / You picked the right time / But the wrong guy - Election 2024 once more. *Edit to add, the first part of this lyric is in reference to the Black Liberation Song "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" by Gil Scott-Heron. Thanks to everyone who mentioned that.
THE FLAG DANCERS - yes, the dancers formed the US flag... off of the backs of Black people. Not a single white person in sight, and that's true of the cotton pickers in the fields. Plantations are part of how the US came to economic prominence after being a "backwater" colony. Remember tobacco? Cotton? Our bloodlines do. *Edit to add: they also all piled out of a clown car. The US flag in a clown car? Brilliant.
The red and blue dancers are also notable for representing the Crips and Bloods, two infamous street gangs. The dance in Not Like Us is the Crip Walk. I recommend researching more on your own time about them, but just know they are a large part of the stereotype of Black people being "ghetto."
TOO LOUD, TOO RECKLESS, TOO GHETTO. Do you really know how to play the game? - This is exactly what Black people, especially Black men, get told all the time. It's why we change our names on resumes if they sound "too Black." It's why we codeswitch in non-Black company. This is especially rich considering how non-Black people love our culture and love to make money off of us, as the latter part of the quote points to. And it's even more profound during the Super Bowl-- the NFL is majority Black players.
STREET LIGHT A CAPELLA -- "thug" stereotype dancers to counteract the a capella connotations, with Uncle Sam then saying that Kendrick figured out "bringing other street guys around being a culture cheat code." Yes, this is a direct hit at Drake (listen to "Not Like Us") but also politically. Look up "model minority". Notably I would point to Candace Owens, or the Miami Venezuelan political group that's been in the news recently, especially as this directly led to Kendrick being surrounded by...
DANCERS IN WHITE -- it's white America. That's... that's the allegory.
NOT LIKE US TEASER -- Kendrick says "Not Like Us" is "their favorite song." -> he means white people specifically here. It comes after he's surrounded by all white dancers, the women around him who are his call and response are also in white (my opinion, they represent the industry). He's saying "Not Like Us" is the favorite of yts because it is about BLACK MEN FIGHTING. This again is reflected in the video game stage and ringleader Uncle Sam.
SZA -- instead of giving what they want, we see SZA. She's one of Drake's exes and Kendrick has always supported her.
ALL THE STARS -- This was in the first Black Panther movie, which I recommend you watch. Rest in Power Chadwick. Notably, this movie was incredibly mainstream as a major Marvel movie, and then we have Uncle Sam say...
"THAT'S WHAT AMERICA WANTS: NICE AND CALM. DON'T MESS THIS UP" -- translation: Marvel (the industry, America, etc.) wanted a safe, semi-pop song because white American likes safe pop songs, not Kendrick's usual heavy rap style about his life as a Black man! Don't mess up what you've got going mainstream for having this "Black rap feud" with Drake, who is an R&B model minority to white people because he's safe.
So what does Kendrick say?
IT'S A CULTURAL DIVIDE / IMMA GET IT ON THE FLOOR -- He was warned not to be political or apologetically Black for this Super Bowl performance, but he is using this big stage opportunity to speak out.
40 ACRES AND A MULE / THIS IS BIGGER THAN THE MUSIC -- 40 acres and a mule are what the freed slaves were promised. Instead, this land went to white sharecroppers. Research Jim Crow laws.
THEY TRIED TO RIG THE GAME / BUT YOU CAN'T FAKE INFLUENCE -- rig the election, rig the industry like with model minority Drake, rig the Great American Game with culture war to distract from active class warfare.
NOT LIKE US -- the only thing I'll mention because it made me holler is Serena Williams crip walking on Drake's metaphorical grave. She's another one of his exes.
TURN THE TV OFF -- exactly like he said! The TV is a distraction, the Super Bowl is a distraction, the mainstream news is often a distraction. Turn it off and get with your people!
GAME OVER â could not see this on my stream but at the end of the performance, the lights in the stadium spelled this out. The world is watching, AmericaâŠ
In conclusion, Kendrick Lamar is a visionary and thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
