okay fine i’ll re-watch iwtv again
unironically motivated to update and finish my fics because of the looming threat of world war three. i think everyone can have a little smut as a treat
"No young man, no matter how great, can know his destiny. He cannot glimpse his part in the great story that is about to unfold. Like everyone, he must live and learn."
I love when I’m reading a fic and it’s evident that the author has a favourite word/phrase/metaphor they like to use because it’s used again and again.
As a writer, I worry that people will find it annoying when I do this but as a reader I find it so endearing, it’s like walking into someone’s bedroom and its immediately obvious what they’re favourite colour is.
writing is hard when you’re a person with thoughts and emotions and also executive dysfunction and also a deep fear of being perceived
you knock on my door and hear loud barking and scrambling noises and me yelling "no!! down boy!! down!!!" and then when i open the door there is a single crab on the floor
grammar this. grammar that. sometimes 'grammatically correct' just doesn't hit the spot. the vibes are telling me to laugh in the face of the english language and that's exactly what I'm going to do, one incorrectly structured sentence at a time.
you can pry starting sentences with 'and' or 'but' out of my cold, dead hands
save me interactive displays at museums save me
the real true purpose of having a brain is to think about fictional characters
