He’s leaving the track post debrief, his arm around Egle’s waist and Noemi running in front. He tends to enjoy Sunday post-race debriefs, as usually the track is a lot quieter by the time they leave, with few to no fans asking for an autograph or a selfie. It’s late, but Noemi slept in her mother’s arms earlier and now she has a momentary peak of energy. He watches as she runs behind a bug flying just above her head. He enjoys these moments: a great race weekend, one when he reminded the observers that he had the talent and acumen to be the leader to bring Audi into F1. One in which he reminded himself why he loved this sport so much. He smiles, as Egle leaves his side and joins their daughter as her little hands try to reach the insect above a barrier; she would easily climb it if her mother didn’t stop her.
He is admiring the portrait they paint in the setting Catalan sun when his phone rings in his pocket. His wife throws him an inquisitive look: it isn’t unheard of for the team to realize that they need to verify one last detail that eluded them earlier before he would leave, recalling him back to the paddock, but it isn’t usual. She keeps an eye on him as she reaches the 4 years old. He slips his phone out, apologizing to her silently, and peeks at the display.
Gabriel.
That, however, is unusual. If the team needed him, it would be his race engineer calling him.
He accepts the call and brings the phone to his ear. “Nico.”
“I need you.”
That, also, is unusual. Gabriel plays for the cameras and the fans, but he wouldn’t not greet him, not explain.
He stops, and frowns as he looks back at the paddock behind him.
“What’s wrong?”
Gabriel’s voice is strained - in pain? - as he repeats his earlier words, offering no explanation. “I need you.”
Nico reaches up to squeeze at the bridge of his nose, wondering what could have happened since their earlier exchange during the debrief. Gabriel’s race had been good too, he had seemed elated. Could something have happened? Something with the team? Elge must have read his puzzlement: she has picked up Noemi, balancing her on her hip as she walks toward him.
“Should I go ahead?”
Nico smiles at her, thankful for her understanding. He reaches out to tug a strand behind her ear and caresses her jaw delicately, then pats their daughter’s head on her shoulder.
“I’ll get one of the driving services back.” Apologetic. He kisses Elge and presses his lips to his daughter’s forehead, then turns and walks back to the paddock as he brings back the phone to his ear. If his young teammate needs him, he’ll be there for him. He was ready for this role when Mattia told him of his choice.
“Where are you?”
There’s a muffled sound before Gabriel answers him. A moan? A whine? Has Gabriel been physically hurt? This sounds so unlikely, but so does the phone call from the start.
“Your driver’s room.”
Nico makes for the green and black building. “Stay there. Wait for me.”
A non-concomitant sound answers him before he hangs up.

He walks into his driver’s room to a sight he doesn’t immediately understand. Rolled in his discarded clothes and covers to what serves as bench, and bed - on the occasion, is a bundle of curls and half undone clothes.
Gabriel.
The brown eyes look up to him as he comes in.
Wide. Lost.
Glossed over.
“What the-“
He shuts the door almost on automatic. He’s not sure what is happening here, but he knows instantly he doesn’t want the team to misjudge anything: whatever Gabriel is going through, it’s better left undisplayed.
“Nico…”
He realizes at once that Gabriel is inhaling his clothes, a hand burried in his pants…
He never thought someone could crawl quite literally across a room, not an adult at least, yet that’s exactly what Gabriel does as he uncurls from the mess on the bed and across the space to him. He backs off, but rapidly he is stopped by the wall behind him. In front of him, Gabriel has reached him. Nico jerks when Gabriel starts running the flat of his hands up his legs and he becomes painfully aware that in his pants, his cock is answering him.
“Nico… I’ve been watching your on-boards from the race… you were so good.” Nico’s breath hitches as Gabriel presses his face against his crotch, rubbing his cheek against his hardening self under the material of his pants and underwear.
“Gabriel…” He wants it a warning, he’s not sure it comes that way.
Gabriel moans against him. “And during the debrief… you were so in control...”
He reaches up for his waist band, pushes the button through its eye and slides down the zipper. He watches as Gabriel’s tongue peaks out to lick at his lips. “I’ve wanted to feel the weight of your cock on my tongue the whole debrief..”
He pulls the underwear down just enough to free him.
Nico isn’t hard, not yet, but whatever Gabriel intends to do is threatening to fix that very soon. He growls. It emboldens Gabriel, who cups his balls and runs his palm along his length. He’s only got a chance to stop this.
He grabs at the curls, pulls the head back. He’s about to speak, to make him stop.
“Nico…”
His resolve stretches. “Stop it already.”
Gabriel whines, pulls against his hold as he tries to free himself, and laps at the air in front of him, eyes reduced to needy slits. “Please…”
His resolves snaps. “Aah, fuck it.”
He lets go, and immediately the boy slides the weight up the hollow of his tongue. He hisses as his head hits the back of that throat, the wet sweetness impossible to resist.
He lets himself be brought to full hardness under the boy’s ministrations. Gabriel, he finds out, is highly vocal in sex, producing sound after sound of satisfaction as he tastes him, sucks him, and runs the flat of his tongue up his length. He groans.
“Fucking stop it, they’re going to hear you.”
To which, of course, Gabriel doesn’t stop, only switches to mewlings and other soft sounds, even when Nico starts thrusting into his mouth to try to silencet him. Exasperated, he slides out and pulls Gabriel by the shirt and pushes him against the wall in his stead.
“What else do I need to do to silence you?!”
A rhetorical question. He already knows what he’s going to do the moment Gabriel’s face is pressed against the wall, the way he moans after a moment of surprise and looks back at him, the way his body moves around each inspirations, hard.
He reaches to run fingers along the narrow hip. Immediately, the back curves to thrust his hips back at him.
Nico smiles; the boy has a beautifully slim figure, and curves it so exquisitely.
“So needy.” He teases, as he slides fingers under the loose hem of Gabriel’s pants and along the cleft. His eyebrows shoot up when he finds no resistance as he slides a finger in, and even a second. “You’ve been preparing yourself?…”
He watches as Gabi shuts his eyes tightly and nods against the wall, biting down on his lip. “I need you…”
Nico presses in, putting weight on his arm across Gabriel’s upper back. He licks up Gabriel’s ear lobe, then bites down on it. “How long have you been doing this? I know I’ve been missing team shirts recently. That was you, wasn’t it?”
The boy nods, but whatever answer or explanation he was going to give dies as Nico pushes a third finger in, and turns into a moan. Satisfied, he licks the bruised lobe before pushing off. “Push your pants down,” he says, before spitting into his hands and coating himself as much as he can.
This, Nico hasn’t done in more years than he can count. Indulging in moments like these, post-racing, holding tightly onto such narrow hips and a pliable body asking for him, he stopped feeling that urge a while ago and just put it on the back of aging into another period of his life. And yet, as he digs fingers into Gabriel’s hips, he feels the lure coming back.
He’s revelling in the feeling when he realizes at once that Gabriel is moaning at each of his thrusts. People might be packing on the other side, he still doesn’t want to risk anyone hearing them. He considers pushing fingers into that eager mouth, but realizes fast enough that it doesn’t stop the boy, so instead, he covers his mouth.
“You’re so loud..”
His palm is well over Gabriel’s mouth, clamped to keep any sound from leaving his mouth, when he realizes Gabi is licking his palm under it. He usually wouldn’t like the feeling, but the expression of blissful abandon on Gabriel’s features is so complete that he lets him go on, until of course, he starts liking the depravity of it all. Gabriel just wants to taste him that much, huh?
He leans in, presses his forehead on the side of Gabriel’s head..
“Gabriela..” he sighs. He’s teased him with that name before, but it was in jest. At this very moment, it’s something else, something deeper. Something like the utter realization that this lanky body is miles different from any others before. And around him, the other tightens, his hips just curving back at yet another better angle as they seek him, hungrily.
So he likes it…
“Sheisse… you got me good..”
He comes just a few thrusts later. The other too.
He stumbles back against the other wall as he reaches for a tissue and lazily cleans himself, before bringing his pants back up. Gabriel slides to the floor, spent, exhausted, pants barely pulled back up to cover his hips, out of breath.
Nico runs a hand through his hair, looking at him. He looks at the stain on the wall, the one he has to remember to clean before he leaves. His chest heaves still. He’s drained.
“Fuck.”
Gabriel trembles on the floor.

The normalization of fandom has really destabilized me. Normalize being in a fandom, but don’t normalize fandom culture. Or should I say, don’t trivialize it. Stop bringing it to the forefront. I don’t need it going back to the people I’m shipping. Fandom should remain a fringe movement in fringe parts of the internet, and not go mainstream
We need to gatekeep fandom.
Fandoms are made by and for weird nerds.
Fandoms are suposed to be weird, fandoms are suposed to be cringe, fandoms are suposed to be horny.
Fandoms are inherently proship, as in, "ship and let ship" always was basic fandom etiquette before the normie invasion.

this tumblr has been, for most of its existence, just a way for me to reblog privately any posts I wanted to keep for myself, of any fandom I've been part of through the years, with a very poor (read, non-existent) tagging system.
However, over the past few years, I have been going through a rough patch with an important person in my life. This person was someone with whom I could discuss things, fandoms yes, but also just anything in my life. As the rough patch has been quite continuous, I find myself needing to exteriorize some of those musings and thought processes. I started writing them down in my journal, but then they are quite random and not deep by any means, and thus seemed a bit incongruous with the rest of the journal. I therefore decided to experiment on this blog (I also can't deal with the admin of more than one account, so it will all be here).
I don't expect to have much of those, but if anyone following would prefer not to have these ramblings on their feed, I will tag these posts with two tags: bubreherro and bubreherro thoughts. Feel free to filter them out.
That being said, I feel this will lead to some written analyses as part of my current fandom, Formula 1 (specifically Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr, with some other drivers too).

Small bookcase end-table next to the couch to store craft projects, books, and other things being worked on for easy access.
Add a storage unit near the dining room table to transition between eating and working there.
Daily toiletry items should be stored in a basket that you can move easily
Extra toiletries and medicine cabinet items go in open shelf/basket storage so they can be seen and used easily. If items no longer fit, purge the excess. Don’t obscure the view!
If you disrobe in the bathroom, place a tall hamper in there.
Keep a set of cleaning supplies in each bathroom

Hi, so I actually compiled some links mostly for myself, but also for you and anyone else interested. See below the cut!
Times Charles has referred to Carlos as a "friend":
The most recent instance: 'He has obviously become a friend.'
‘We were already good friends before we joined Ferrari.'
'We have a very special relationship. I mean, we are obviously friends outside the track as well. We are sharing good moments. We spend so much time - I mean, I see Carlos more than my own family...'
Times Carlos has referred to Charles as a "friend":
'My teammate and I are friends off the track, we get along very well and we have a very good relationship. And we make a very good team. I think that if there is something that worked and works in Ferrari, it is the two drivers...' (translated from Spanish)
This is just what I could track down, but if anyone knows of others let me know!
Carlos has spoken about how he and charles get along very well, but that it's hard for him (and other drivers) to truly be friends with their teammates bc they're always so competitive with each other, and there's so much pressure to beat one another. ("Friend is a strong word that I don’t like using for anything or anyone.") And combine that with what we know about how, as a kid, he was surprised by other kids he thought were his friends running him off track and out of the race, we can see how much weight he applies to the 'friend' label.
To Carlos, I think a 'friend' is someone that a part of his brain would hesitate to race too hard against, and he can't let that happen with his teammate, who he wants and needs to beat more than anyone. He can afford to maybe leave Lando or Alonso a little more space on track bc he values his relationship with them as friends, and they're not currently his teammates. But he can't let himself have that relationship with Charles, or, for that matter, Alex next season.
Will he be able to say that he and Charles are friends more readily next year when they aren't teammates any longer? I think so. That was certainly the case with Lando. But I also think his relationship with Lando was a bit different - Lando was almost like a little brother to him. With Charles, he's more firmly a peer, and I think that hyper-competitiveness between them may always linger, right up until they aren't racing eo anymore, maybe especially bc their partnership was cut short before either could win a championship as teammates.
Time will tell, but it's clear that they already view their time together very fondly. They've spoken plainly about 'hating each other' inside the helmet when they've battled and disagreed, but that they always make up after two minutes. It's beautiful that they can always come back to the respect they have for one another. It's a unique relationship, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves in the years to come. ❤️
