Nestor after returning to his homeland after the Trojan war
Hello, yes. After a year without uploading and in, what I feel, one of the weirdest ‘fandom’ twists, I’ve gone from obsessing over 80s musicals about anthropomorphic cats and trains to being obsessed with ancient books and plays. What can I say, the duality of man. (not that the cats and trains are fully gone, they never will).
Anyways, this low effort meme I made way to late at night is my application form to my fellow mythology and epic cycle girlies.
Greek mythology from A to Z:
[E] - Eris (Ἔρις) was goddess of chaos, strife and discord.
Can I get uuuuuuuuh hog chine for the war boys
Norse mythology from A to Z:
[S] - Sjörå a mythical creature of the lake in Swedish folklore. It was a water spirit, comparable to the nymphs of Greek mythology.
Greek mythology from A to Z:
[A] - Atlas (Ἄτλας) was the leader of the Titan rebellion against Zeus, and he got a fitting punishment after the end of the Titanomachy: he was condemned to eternally hold up the sky.
Some Iliad boys in the woods! My thought behind this is that all of them went out on a trip and realized that Antilochus was not trained for this, because unlike Achilles and Patroclus, he was just a prince and was not set loose on a mountain with a centaur grandpa for several years.

Hermes finding a lost soul 🦋
I wanted to draw Hermes in his role as psychopompos and I remember reading somewhere that butterflies represented souls in greek mythology. I'm not really sure on that but I liked the idea :)
Greek mythology from A to Z:
[A] - Amphitrite (Ἀμφιτρίτη) was the ancient Greek goddess-queen of the sea, wife of Poseidon, and eldest of the fifty Nereides

Hermes: So how did Hyacinthus die?
Zephyrus: Natural causes.
Apollo,*sobbing*: you directed a discus at his fucking head!!!
Zephyrus: Wind is natural on this planet.
Ares and Aphrodite texting:
Aphrodite: Good night xxx!
Ares: Good night.
Aphrodite: It would be better if you put x's at the end of the sentences, xxx!
Ares: Ok?
Ares: Good night Calliope, Otrera, Althea, Terpsichore!
