I just played TS4 High School Years. The items are really cute but there's about 6 hours of gameplay in the whole pack, lol. But it got me thinking about how I wish we had more child and teen-specific stuff to do in TS3. Like Afterschool Activities which could have been more…active. So I started making a few active afterschool activities for teens. This is the first I'm releasing.
With this mod, your teen can join the Student Council where they can then take on different activities. They can run for office in the council and support school issues to try and make their school a better place. There are 8 different student issues your Sims can try to address, like buying new textbooks or running an anti-bullying campaign. Each one will require your Sim to get a certain number of signatures and raise X amount of funds. If you don’t do so by the deadline all the students will hate you (not really but also, yes). If you are successful, then all the students will get some kind of reward related to the campaign and it will increase your popularity. You can learn about student issues and the like through the Bulletin Board object.
There are 3 different Student Council elected positions you can run for which also have extra perks and each have their own unique interactions they can do as well so they are a bit more personality-based to the role. There's more details in the documentation.

Credits/Thanks: @bioniczombie for the TS4 HSY Bulletin board object conversion and all their wonderful conversions. Battery TS3 Script Template Creator for making modding easier.
You'll need NRaas Careers in order to load custom afterschool activities and of course, the Generations EP. Let me know if you run into any issues!
Future Updates/Additions: I do want to create some activities for council members to organize, like a beach clean up or school charity events. So that would be the plan for a V2. Also maybe doing a proper animation for the collect signatures interaction. I know TS4 has one, I couldn't get it to load through a social xml. It's a whole thing but yes, I'm aware Sign Autograph is not the ideal animation.

All my conversions are in package format and base game compatible. You can view the polycount in the .zip file. Download HERE at SFS, always ads free!
Gentle reminder that they almost definitely planted evidence on Luigi and arrested him to distract from the fact that the real UHC shooter got away with killing a billionaire. One of us successfully killed a billionaire and one of us could successfully do it again
(edit: Thompson was a millionaire but my point still stands billionaires and millionaires who make money through killing thousands gotta go)

I was digging around my external hard drive and found my downloads folders for sims 3 from waaaaayyy back, like years ago when I first tried the game but didn’t like it and went back to playing sims 2. IN3S had a mega folder for their downloads but it no longer exists so I thought I’d pack up a few things I have of theirs and put them up for download for those who never got the chance to snatch them before they disappeared.
Here are all the piercings I have from them. Some piercings have doubles because this was before “multiple accessories per location” existed and they are categorized as different accessories. ^^
I take no credit whatsoever for this download, all credit belongs to IN3S. I just clicked a few things (I mean, I spend more time drawing those cats than making this download ^^).

4t3 conversions from two late-victorian wedding gowns for all your ladies, made by the most talented VintageSimstress, now to ts3! Hope you like them! Enjoy! <3
————— —————
Known Problems:
The trains on these gowns don’t really work as intended… VS’ words are my words: “It looks like there are two ways in which a train can behave: either you assign it to calves, thanks to which it behaves perfectly while sitting, but jumps stiffly up and down while walking, or you assign it to pelvis, which makes it lie on the floor while walking, but disappear underground while sitting. I decided to go for the second option, as I think trailing behind and looking all beautiful is the point of a train - right? But that means it won’t be fully visible while sitting. I’m sorry, the game just comes with some limitations.“
Not exactly a problem, but please have in mind that these gowns are considered high poly, and I don’t recommend these for people with low-end pcs! I had to keep the polycount this way because otherwise the bones would look suuper crunchy and unstable, and apparently making edge loops didn’t work for me. Sorry!
Also, I highly recommend using the no feet mesh by @danjaley here, especially with the 1890′s wedding gown. they can poke out of the dress in some animations and this prevents it! A lot of ea dresses act like this too, so maxis match!! lol
LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!
* Note that teens and elders have unsolvable neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! for teens, try using this slider by gruesim!

ALL OG CREDITS GO TO @vintagesimstress! IT’S NOT MY MESHES, AND IT’S NOT MY TEXTURES, I JUST CONVERTED THEM TO THE SIMS 3!
————— —————
The 1890′s wedding gown has 2 presets: one with a floral pattern (main one), and the second one is plain, so you can put any pattern you want on top of it!
The pearls in both gowns are overlayed, to make room for other things to be recolorable. The lace details are also overlayed on the 1894′s wedding gown.

The Changes:
Edited the mesh; it's now slightly smaller with new UVMap. Somewhat a cosmetic change.
Edited the script; 2m up & down is replaced with 5cm up & down. STBL's are also edited to accommodate the said change.
Edited the preset to use the solid colour in miscellaneous patterns to reduce the wait time. And MOST IMPORTANTLY added a second INVISIBLE preset. I personally think this was much needed, since these OSMPs are notorious for not staying invisible.
Now, the important things you need to know before using this:
These will replace granthes' and @buckleysims' files. You need to remove those and install mine instead. Also you CAN NOT mix & match those with mine. You need my edit of OMSP with my edit of Resizers. After installation all you need to do is go to your lots with OMSPs and use the design tool to get the invisible preset.
I added my creator name to files for convenience so you guys will know where you get these or at least that they are altered. Although, I realise that my tumblr name and creator name doesn't match so that's a fallacy on my part. Anyway, I didn't remove Buckley's original credits in the STBLs so there is that.
I tested these in a relatively clean The Sims 3 folder and save that I use for testing stuff, so everything should be okay. If not, do tell.

Secret Build Techniques
Two uncommonly-known build exploits for your use- to get an extra floor, and to create a one-level open-air basement! Read more under the cut.
Sixth Floor
This allows you to create an extra sixth floor. Mainly useful for decorative use!
Build up to the five-floor limit.
Create a mansard roof large enough to show a floor tile.
Delete roof
Using ‘placefriezes on’, you can now place a frieze where you couldn’t before.
You can then use CFE to shape the floor to your liking.
Of note: It’s best to keep the extra floor decorative or lightly-built, as there are restrictions. You can’t build walls, roofs, nor stairs, but ladders (place beforehand), fences, and elevators work. Use ‘moveobjects on’ to place objects, doors, and windows. You can use the sledgehammer to delete the extra floor.
Open-air Basements
This allows you to create a one-level open-air basement, as teased by Sims Uni’s gym.
Create basement on a completely flat piece of ground.
Create stair in basement where you want the opening to be.
Create a foundation at the end of the staircase, one tile away.
Copy the stair and place a new stair leading from the foundation to the top of the stair to the basement.
Delete the stair to the basement.
Delete basement stair.
You can repeat this as many times as you want to create large open areas! Beyond that, it functions as a normal basement.
Of note: To delete the open-air areas, place basement stairs where you don’t want the effect, and then delete those stairs. You can then delete the basement. It’s best to keep the open-air area lightly decorated, as I believe that objects beyond doors and windows will not show above-ground even if you have object hiding disabled. The game will also only render the first basement level below ground.
Hope this helps!
Hi I'm wondering what you mean when you say you clean your cc? Thank you!
Oh Lordy, this is a long one but I will try to get it all in:
General points:
Once I download CC I rename it using ReNamer to remove any special sighs like &/%([ etc, as reading those can slow down the game
Then I will give each object a code before it like “Obj_kid_” or “CAS_top_af” so I know what it is
I don’t rename the actual file name, cause if I redownload it forgetting I already have it, then if it keeps the file name I will realize its a duplicate
Then I run all my new CC through s3rc to compress it
Then it goes in a “test” folder under mods first to make sure its not corrupt
If its okay, a copy goes into a Backup folder, where like the codes I have a file for everything, so CAS>Hair>AF, Build>Walls etc. This means I always know where to find my CC
Then I put it into CC Magic where again I have the same folder set-up. I NEVER manually merge, its a pain and you cannot undo it.
I NEVERRRRRRRRR install sims3packs, I always convert to .package using s3ce
Specific Points:
Patterns: I convert them to packages then fix them following this tutorial
Houses: I convert them to packages using s3ce, then I usually use dashboard to find the lot file and put that into my Library Folder, and IF (usually not the case) I want the CC from the houses I may look through the other package files. Usually I don’t as I will get a million duplicates, shit loads of clutter. Installing a house as sims3pack can mean up to 600 files installed! And if you install 2 houses you probably have like 200 duplicate files that are in both. Again, NEVER install sims3packs!
Clothing/Accesories: Now often creators don’t know about this method of keeping their file sizes down, so I open each bit of clothing in s3pe, delete ALL duplicate images. This will mess it up, so I then open them in TSRW, make sure to replace the missing images using “Browse” while also deleting any presets I don’t want or any stencils I dislike. This usually likes halves the file size! I will also make sure it is in all the categories I want and not for any silly categories or valid for random.
AF Clothes: So I made my own preg morph (EA’s bump is too small) so in addition to the above I actually remorph all my AF clothes to have a bigger bump ;)
Hair: Again, just check for correct categories
Makeup: I sort my makeup, so all nosemasks go into Eyeliner, all eyebags go into Eyeshadow, all babyhairs go into Lipstick. Then, as creators often forget, I enable makeup for teens and elders too. For Blush, I also enable it for toddlers and kids.
Contacts: I enable them for kids and toddlers if creators have forgotten
Poses: I have a special folder for poses, and if they are not poselist enabled I will save the preview picture online and rename it to the pose code, so I have a sorted folder with photos of all my poses
Skins: Each skin is opened in Skininator and given my ramps and a special icon with the name of the skin (I hate berry ramps and don’t need 5 ramps per skin). In this way my skin panel is very organized. In addition, I use “COMPACT SAVE” in skiniator. I dunno why creators don’t but it drastically reduced the file size. I saved 3GB of CC just by resaving my skins….
Objects: Just make sure they are categorized the way I want. I also remove half the stuff from “Misc Decor” and stick it somewhere else. Aka, pillows/blankets go into “sculpture” for me and are also sorted into “beds” if they are for beds.
My mods folder used to be a mess, with merged packages, duplicates and a lot of CC I didn’t use. It had 36GB. Now I am down to 10GB literally just by cleaning my CC. I lost 6GB alone just by removing duplicate _IMG files and compressing my CC and skins….
Obviously most people don’t have the patience to do all the above, but hey, I load my game fully in super speed, I don’t have any lag whatsoever and in build/buy mode my categories load faster cause I don’t have loads of CC I don’t need.
Oh yeah, my FAQ page also tells you ways to get your game to run faster ;)
Hope this helps you Nonny!
NOW I find out about this .... After manually emptying my town and repopulating it... *sigh*
Baixou um mundo super bacana mas ele está deserto? Ou você gostaria de criar um mundo mágico onde todos os Sims são Fadas?! Ou simplesmente etá cheio dos lotes parados do The Sims 3? O que você precisa se chama My World Mod.
