Did someone ask for more radio stations? XD Right, so let me tell you--I've not only added more radio stations, but I also updated a few of them as well as having made "add-on" versions to a few of the stations. Add-on stations are "added on" to the already existing stations in Sims 3: Soul, Disco, Spooky, Pop, Latin, and Electronica. Only three of these need base game, so you're fine there. However, 70's, 80's, & 90's Stuff is required for the Disco station (( I will leave 'NuDisco' up for those without it )), Ambitions is required for 'Soul', and Movie Stuff is required for 'Spooky' (( again, will leave the 'Harvest' station up for those without this pack )). And maybe it will work if you don't have the pack--can anyone confirm this? Also, if you want me to make a separate station for 'Soul', please let me know. New stations include: Alternative, University Rock, METAL, Romance, and Talk Radio. The "Romance" station is not pictured in the above because, for some reason, I never made it originally? Like... why didn't I ever do that? XP Honestly, I thought I had. Apparently not, and when I was testing the other stations out, I was in the middle of making the 'Romance' station. I broke down the massive University Station into other parts, adding them to other stations and then making it its own station, similar to the Geek Rock station, with less songs. Please note that while I'll most likely keep the University Station up for DL, I won't be updating it anymore. The Housemix station was updated to include some techno songs as well. YOU ARE HYPERREAL - TS3 Normal Map Replacement

I edited Buhudain’s "You Are Real" face and body default replacement normal maps to make the details pop even more on the skin. First, can we talk about the impact these mods made? When I discovered them I was blown away, they immediately became an essential. Buhudain truly changed the game with these.

What I tweaked:

I edited Buhudain's 2048 px sized textures 

More visible pores and skin texture 

More defined muscles and veins (intensity controlled by the muscle definition slider in CAS) 

More light-reflective, shinier skin (intensity changes with the muscle definition slider in CAS) 

Sims with no muscle definition will still have slightly more glow to the skin and more detailed pores/texture up close

No bump map on the male body’s nipples so they won't conflict with nipple placements on any skins (female body has them though)

Includes naughty bits

The effect looks stronger on darker skin, I'm not sure why

I think you’ll be able to appreciate the texture if you use a HQ mod and you take a lot of closeup photos of your sims like I do. I think it still looks normal enough for regular gameplay, although you’ll have to decide that for yourself after you try it out.  

Photos were taken with bright lights, the effect is subtler in normal lighting.

If you already use Buhudain’s You Are Real mods, you must remove them from your Mods folder first before installing mine. 

You can put these files in your Overrides or Packages folder.

If you only install the body files, your sim’s faces will not be affected. 

If you want to install the face files to look consistent with the bodies, you can choose between the version which has EA’s wrinkles on the adult face, or the version which does not have EA’s wrinkles on the adult face. Only install one, not both!

TS3 World Adventures - EA’s Chinese Lantern Red Colour Mod 

D E F A U L T   R E P L A C E M E N T

Traditional Chinese lantern has history of thousand years.  The traditional Chinese lantern is always red in default. With other colour variation is gold. To any non Chinese people who wants to depict traditional Chinese lantern, colour it with red colour, as this is not fancy modern lamp. 

Whoever team worked for The Sims 3 World Adventures didn’t consult to Chinese person at all, resulting fatal mistake at representing Chinese lantern. 

Buy mode catalogue shows Chinese lantern in white colour. White is colour symbolizes purity and mourning to death. Not suitable for Chinese lantern at all, where it is supposed to depict luck, joy, and happiness in red colour.    

In Shang Simla world, the lanterns were shown in orange colour. Not common colour at all. Never in my life seen Chinese lanterns in orange colour, especially white colour. Very no no no.

Changes: Overlay —> Replace the wrong colour and dull chocolate rim with red and proper gold texture. 

Recolourable: 

1 channel: Lantern support. 

Red Lantern cannot be recoloured.

Buyable object has automatic red colour default replacement from catalogue.

Known Issues: 

if you load your Sims game straight to Shang Simla world, the lantern cannot be reset to default replacement red colour with Nraas’ Debug Enabler, it will reset to EA colour. 

❗ You must load the lantern from buy mode catalogue first! It is to load the overlay texture.   You need to install Nraas’ Debug Enabler (Core mod by Twallan) in order to work correctly ❗  

Follow these steps to reset the textures:

Visit any Sim household in buy mode > buy EA’s Chinese lantern (you can choose to not save the game) > travel or choose save game in Shang Simla world > Click on the lantern > Nraas > Debug Enabler > Options: Lantern Illuminator > Objects… > Reset Textures > (Choose one) All Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Lighting.Mimics.LightingWallAsian or This Object

Quickie Foods & Snacks

This was something I made a couple of years ago for a family I was playing that was poor so they were eating cereal most of the time. I have the mod where you have to buy everything to cook or eat anything from the fridge but didn't want to have to buy 10 cereals all the time so I used the idea from Arsil's Food Maker and applied it to a cereal box, then made some granola bars to boot.

You can purchase them from the grocery store (General Section) as well as in the Buy Mode catalog. You can read the label which will tell you nonsense + how many servings are left. Once it's empty, you'll have to dispose of the box.

Cereal: There are 6 servings in each box. Sugary cereal will give you a sugar rush but it also might give you a toothache. The cereal box objects are from ATS Sandy and I just added my script to it. (Note: When placed in the world for the first time, it may show up as red, you need to go into CAST and just switch presets and the texture will show up.)

Granola/Protein Bars: There are 6 servings in each. Both will give you a bit of hunger increase, though the granola bar more so. The protein bar will give your Sim an hour of Adrenaline Rush which boosts Athletic Skill so it's best to eat before a workout. If you are fatigued, it will remove the fatigue moodlet.

Requirements: CCLoader for the custom food (sugary cereal) and the University EP because the bars are based on the candy bar.
