calling all blinkie / stamp / button fans! my requests are open!

i'm really bored at the moment, and i need some requests and ideas! my ask box is open for any ideas you have for stamps, blinkies and buttons! examples of my work, if you haven't seen them before-

Circuitgender

a xenogender and kingender made up of the electrical pathways on a circuitboard - the dozens of funny patterns of lines and pads allowing electricity to flow

luxine is an umbrella term centered around the ideas of divinity, light, holiness, and vastness.

luxine, similarly to soporine and kenochoric, is a gender umbrella that can also be used as a standalone identity. though some genders under its umbrella may also be xenogenders, neurogenders, etc., luxine genders are not inherently those things.

luxine can be freely combined with existing terms.

luxins, and luxine as a whole, have a connection to one or more of the following concepts:

holiness, divinity, purity, innocence, or joy

light, the sky, experiences of purity or pure beauty

learning, experiencing, creativity, living, and the joys of those things

feelings of loss, alienation, sorrow, or nostalgia

connection to the angelic or heavenly, including alterhumangenders

feelings of, or things that inspire awe, wonder, or fear

a gender experience that is vast, complicated, or has a lot of parts

a gender experience that is incomprehensible or unexplainable to others

useful terminology:

luxins: individual luxine genders

luxinous: luxine equivalent of masculine

luxic: a luxine gender alignment, the equivalent of xenic

translux: the equivalent of transmasc

LUXIN: luxine-in-nature

candel: a luxine adult

lumen: a luxine child/younger person

luxine is not a xenogender, or under any other umbrella.

a label for being unable to differentiate your identity from your interests, due to neurodivergency or other reasons.

examples of this include but arent limited to: being felinekin because you like cats, liking dogs because you are pupgender, your interests affecting your vesility, not being able to differentiate gender euphoria from general happiness, and more I havent mentioned/thought of! as long as you feel this label fits you, then it fits you

not exclusive to neurodivergent people, just made with them (aka me) in mind :D

My friend requested a mad scientist blinkie, and I made two prototypes before settling on the first design. I decided to put them all together so that they're a set.

I've always been fascinated by pixel arts and favicons for the past few months on Tumblr but there are still questions i have inside my head... it's ok to take your time answering this! :'D 1. What are favicons, decomes, and other web graphics for? Are they like decorations? 2. Where do you get these? 3. Do I need to credit you or other favicon blogs if I use it for web decorations? So sorry for the questions I hope it's not a bother to you- I would appreciate if you answer this tho ^^

WHAT ARE FAVICONS / WEB GRAPHICS FOR? 🍀

well , in short , they are mainly used for decoration purposes.

now, the official definition / purpose of a favicon is meant to be for branding purposes. Look at your tabs right now, see that little icon next to the title of the site? that's a favicon!

here on tumblr , the main reason people use favis is for decoration purposes. Whether it's on their website , their carrd ,a tumblr post, literally anything! it doesn't have to be for tab branding!

other web graphics are also mainly used for decoration too. stuff like blinkies and stamps are usually used to tell people about the user!

for example , if someone has this blinkie (top) displayed on their website , you'd assume they like anime , and if someone else has this stamp (bottom) on their site , you'd assume they like pokemon!

stuff like dividers are self explanatory , they're also used as decoration but have the more functional purpose of dividing up posts to make it more clear and neat!

then there are buttons, you'll usually find buttons on sites like neocities! when clicking on them , they'll usually lead to someones website, sorta like a cute picture link !!

basically , you can find web resources on carrds , neocities sites , old pixel games , deviant art , old blogs etc!! make sure to check the original post in the link above bc i have a bunch of sites linked !!

IS CREDIT NEEDED? 🍀

it honestly depends. people will normally let you know in their bio / pinned post if credit is necessary. on my blog , you can use resources without credit, and on most pixel blogs credit isn't necessary as not many things we post belong to us in the first place!!
