Like, I came on this site to read FAN fiction. This is a FAN fiction site. I’m fully aware that you don’t own the fandom or the characters. That’s why it’s called FAN FICTION.

Headcanon about Rey’s new lightsaber

She made the lightsaber hilt out of her staff to honour her past as a scavenger and the item that helped her survive all those years she was on her own.

She retrieved Kylo’s lightsaber and healed the cracked kyber crystal. She used that to power her new lightsaber. The blade is yellow because red (it was formerly on the dark side) + green (it was healed and is now on the light side) light combined makes yellow.

The healed crystal symbolises the way in which Rey symbolically killed Kylo Ren and then healed him. He was reborn as Ben Solo just as this crystal has now been reborn as something new.

The lightsaber honours their history and the ability to heal and move on from the past. It is the embodiment of who they are and what together they represent.

Kara yawned, stretching out like a cat before turning over to take in the sight of her lovers curled together. She normally woke first, especially on lazy days like this where neither workaholic had anywhere they needed to be. She stretched just enough to be able to brush the bangs from Alex’s face, ghosting down to tuck a few fly away strands of Lena’s hair behind the woman’s ear.

Neither even twitched. She grinned, hovering carefully to get out of the bed. Kara gently tucked the covers tighter around her humans and left them to their slumber.
