“All this achievement and accomplishment that you focus on is fine, but remember, the most important thing about you is something that someone else accomplished on your behalf. You are a child of the living God, and He paid for your sins with his blood. He gave you a room in His Father’s house. To God, YOU are the most important thing in the universe.”

Just show me that I’m important and that’s enough
I aspire to be a woman who loves to wakes up early in the morning and loves what she does for a living everyday. Travels often, spiritually secured, and financially stable.
📝 - @amy_klutinoty ⇠ follow! . The Apostle Paul’s prayer for the thorn to be removed from his life, wasn’t necessarily denied by God, it just wasn’t answered the way he expected. . “My grace is sufficient for you", God compassionately replied. “My power is made perfect in weakness.” . You know, I wonder if Paul let out a heavy sigh after hearing God’s response. Yes, we know Paul’s response was to say, “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” But…even still…the process leading up to that moment was not an easy one for Paul. . He didn’t receive the answer I am sure he was hoping for, but we have learned through his story that; what may be a hardship to us, is an invitation to God. What we so often consider a “no” from God, can actually be translated into an invitation to better understand who He is. . God could have removed this “thorn”, but then Paul would have missed out on the sweet revelation and strength of God’s sustaining grace. He became even closer to God which was inevitably what he needed all along. More of God is always the answer. . I urge you today to take a moment to consider this truth in your own life. Is there a prayer you have written off as a “no” from God, and have thrown into your inventory of disappointments? . Could it be that He is extending the same offer to you as He did to Paul? To better know Him and personally experience His redeeming grace? God may not always remove the tough circumstance, but rest assure, He will strengthen you by His grace to endure and finish the race. — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2Mbnd1f
best advice you’d give a girl ?
Sometimes, as women, we’re pressured to always put others before ourselves and give with little to nothing in return. Being giving is a beautiful quality to have, however, it shouldn’t be at the expense of your personal autonomy. If you keep giving and giving without getting anything in return, it’s easy to become used to the feeling of scarcity. Know that you deserve the goodness you give other people too. Iyanla Vanzant once said, “My cup runneth over.’ What comes out of the cup is for you. What’s in the cup is mine. But I’ve got to keep my cup full.” Pour into yourself too. When you make sure you’re good, you’ll be able to better help others.
With that being said, the best advice I can give is to focus on yourself. Do your best to make sure you’re balanced on all levels—mental, physical, spiritual and emotional. Avoid being distracted by the opinions of others and wasting time on significant others who aren’t sure about you. Avoid seeking other people and things to fulfill you. Be one of your own sources of fulfillment so you don’t have to look outside of yourself for it. Believe you’re enough. Know your worth and what you want in life and allow it to flow to you. Be like a cup—receptive to the flow of abundance. In the meantime, invest in your joy, your goals, your well-being and your health. Fill yourself up with peace and joy that comes from within. Be giving but don’t let other people take advantage of you. You are the longest relationship you’ll ever have. Make sure the relationship you have with yourself is compassionate and healthy.
I aint gonna articulate this right but I’ve noticed there’s this weird sub culture on tumblr where it’s frowned upon to say anything positive about your life. Like occasionally I see someone post something like “I love my job so much” and a few responses are like “wish I could find a job :/” or “must be nice to not have depression” and it’s really strange. A lot of people are pulling themselves out of dark places or finally figuring out how to be happy (no easy feat) and they don’t need you projecting your own demons on their moments of happiness they wanted to share.
Imagine just having a picnic with you and God- surrounded by His creation and soaking in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit ( whilst simultaneously enjoying some fresh fruit lol). Hope all of you guys are doing amazingly! God bless xx
