Thunder Tea Rice (Lei Cha Fan) Essentially this dish is served in two parts: a rice bowl filled with a bedazzling medley of chopped Asian vegetables such as long beans, cabbage, leafy greens and radish as well as diced tofu and peanuts; and a side bowl best akin to a slightly astringent herbal pesto soup, made from ground tea leaves and Asian herbs such as mint and basil.

"Hikikomori" is a social condition prevalent in Japan, where young people, unable to cope with social and academic pressures, shut themselves in their rooms for months, even years on end. Yasuo Yamamoto hasn’t emerged in almost a year. Yet even as his condition worsens, someone still cares for him…
I find the social phenomenon of hikikomori very interesting, as it’s an extreme form of escaping to the world of dreams, “living in dreams and never coming out.” Escapism in general is interesting to explore for my project, as it is a sign of dissatisfaction with reality, and can be approached in many different ways, positive and negative. Reading books, taking drugs, jumping out of planes, staying in your room for decades.
Who needs to say hi now a days? they were probably on drugs anyway… (too soon? too soon.)

This whole “trust Tumblr blindly” thing is eventually going to kill someone, as I became pointedly aware of on one occasion I was making fun of how poorly a particular bleach-based drain declogger was working on my sink and got a chorus of really dangerously misinformed people telling me to pour vinegar in after it because all cute little cool kid diy home care blogs they’re following talk about vinegar like it it’s the big secret the cleaning companies don’t want you to know.
And I cringed knowing that someday, some Well Actually expert who read a blog article once is going to give that advice to someone who unfortunately didn’t take high school chemistry and isn’t aware that MIXING VINEGAR AND BLEACH MAKES CHLORINE GAS.
#prayforladiescode. Just a simple message, but please in this sad time keep the girls in your thoughts, and sent good vibes to the family that has lost a daughter way too soon. EunB was much too young to be gone, so I pray she finds comfort in her new home, and I keep Sojung and Rise in my thoughts. You don’t have to be a fan, but you do have to be a decent person and realize the severity of this accident.
