Hisuian Decidueye ~
(TMAGP 8 SPOILERS)
I JUST HAD A F*CK8NG REALISATION
So I saw a tag on a post about the newest episode about Gertrude saying "good luck hunting" and how she might have thought Celia and Sam were avatars. And I got hit by a realisation
TMA GERRY WAS TRAPPED IN A BOOK, AN OBJECT THAT GIVES KNOWLEDGE, in the HANDS OF HUNT AVATARS and whose only way to escape the misery of not being was death. An escape Jon gave him even if he lost knowledge
Did JON REACHED OUT HOPING TO FINALLY DIE ? DID HE HOPE THIS GERRY, EVEN IF HE WASNT TMA GERRY HE WOULD RETURN THE FAVOR ? THAT HE WOULD FREE HIM LIKE JON FREED GERRY ? THAT WITH THE PLACES REVERSED THE SAME THING WOULD HAPPEN ?
THE GODDAMN PARALLELS THAT MIGHT JUST BE ME OVERTHINKING BUT ZKXVZKNDZKFBKZOXKZOBX
Reenactor throws a spear at a drone
Aliens (1986)
apropos of nothing i think you could make a really neat pink terrarium with syngonium, fittonia and hypoestes
reblog if you like star trek, or if you have lost the remaining shreds of control over your life and you are star trek and youโre shaped like the uss enterprise and star trek music plays every time you walk into a room, or if you are a tribble that can type
And the award for pretending not to know exactly what he's doing goes to...
i relistened to hive and realized something: there is a reference to every single one of the fourteen entities in janeโs statement. obviously jane herself is corruption, and while giving her statement, she speaks about arthur nolan (the desolation) and oliver banks (the end). some of the other references are vaguer, but theyโre all there.
the web
the slaughter
the flesh
the eye
the buried
the spiral
the dark
the vast
the hunt
the stranger
and the image limit wonโt let me add the screenshot, but thereโs a Lonely reference too: โi was lonely before, i know that. i had friends, at least i used to, but i lost them. or they lost me.โ
i just think thatโs such a neat detail. jane is the first avatar we meet, our introduction to smirkeโs 14, so i love that she makes a connection to every entity
speedrunning the death of art with this one eh.
