i’m so normal about this…god. atsushi’s dejected expression while seeing the full extent of his rival-turned-partner’s abuse for the first time…atsushi finding out it was dazai who treated him like that, the same dazai he looks up to and admires for bringing him into the ADA. we’re witnessing atsushi make leaps and bounds in his understanding of why akutagawa is the way he is, in real time
atsushi definitely does poorly in heat i feel
like he’s totally fine up to a certain point but when it gets into a heatwave he’s off his game
the first heatwave he spends at the agency he passes out during a mission and gets minor heatstroke (because atsushi has never really gotten to exist outside in heat and doesn’t know a.the symptoms of heat exhaustion and b. doesn’t like to insist on his own limits yknow he feels like a burden)
the agency gets really used to spotting the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke
atsushi takes to laying on the agency floor a lot during the summer (hes just like my cat fr)
i stocked up on posts like this for desert duo
What if instead of fighting over shin soukoku and atsulucy we found a third secret option?
hoping and praying that it’s just my browser
If Atsushi gets sent to the Port Mafia after this good luck to them.
Honestly I don’t think anyone is equipped for this except maybe Kouyou because of Chuuya. And Hirotsu because he’s Hirotsu.
Everyone would be expecting the strong sassy weretiger that takes no shit and regularly fights one of their higher ups.
They’re gonna get a broken boy who wants just wants to go home. A shell of who he was because everything died with the Agency.
Mori pauses mid speech because Atsushi’s just looking at him with blank empty eyes that feel all too familiar. But even those eyes were cold, there was life in them.
Dazai walked those halls with purpose and an ill fitting coat. While Atsushi wanders like a lost soul.
Akutagawa stays firmly at his side. He doesn’t fight him even if he does try to stir up their old banter. He didn’t fight Atsushi the day the Headmaster died and he won’t now.
He just hopes Atsushi doesn’t become like the lost boy from the slums.
One of the rare times Atsushi speaks its to ask Akutagawa why wait 6 months? Akutagawa simply shakes his head saying he won’t go back on his word.
Which is true but also because he would gain nothing from fighting a man who wants to die. And maybe he doesn’t want to kill Atsushi after all.
Atsushi who takes whatever he’s given without a word. He hugs his old clothes like a plushi as he sleeps in the back of the linen closest. Because he refuses to use the room they provided him. It’s not his so he won’t act like it.
He fights on autopilot but he’s never put on a major job. Probably because they’re afraid of what he might do.
Q taunts him but Atsushi doesn’t bat an eye because there’s nothing Q can show him that’s worse than what he’s seen. All he can do is taunt Atsushi with things his mind already does.
The only hope Atsushi has that he clings onto is that he can save them.
No one in the Port Mafia will ever forget the day some dared to insult the Agency in Atsushi’s presence. No ons saw him move. No one saw him activate his ability. Everyone heard the scream and the sound of claws digging into flesh.
Even Akutagawa was taken aback. This made the Shibusawa fight look almost peaceful in comparison.
‘Talk about my friends again, and the next time I won’t miss.’ Hisses Atsushi coldly. He throws the person to the ground like rubbish and walks out the door.
His hands are shaking as blood trickles down his claws.
what if because of Fyodors (possible or confirmed unsure) religious past and present, he thinks Atsushi isnt “man” enough due to his reaction to his offer to join the DOA, he see’s him more a “boy” and less than a “man” because he’s more emotional.
What if the orphanage told Atsushi that and that’s why he’s so insecure and why thinks he’s so weak, i believe there are SOME implications that the orphanage could’ve possibly been religious, and with how he was treated its possible they could’ve told him stuff like how he’s “not ready to be a man yet” because he’d was just a more emotional kid
okay thats it!! i’lll go back to drawing, #1 atsushi fan is leaving now
I like to imagine Joel tripped a little when he got shot so he could fit the theme of all of the Bread Boys Falling
When they start to gain weight, his breasts increase in size too. Their immediate reaction is "Oh!...oh...". At first it's neat but the next second he realizes they'll make him really dysphoric at times. They think "what if I removed them and then regenerated when I felt like it?". And Yosano tells him "Please just bind. Mastectomy every Friday is a little counterproductive".
Also they'd go by all pronouns tbh
