Headcannon That The Agency Learn Things About Atsushi's Past Not From Atsushi Telling Them.

It is I, Nyatsushi Anon, back again because the power of tiger kitty Atsushi is something I don't get to talk about. Anyways, now that I've said my bit on Tiger Atsushi, here's another Nyatsushi Concept- Imagine him grooming the people around him!!! Like, Kyōka rolls out of bed and he, without thinking, tries to "groom" her hair into neatness. Someone has a smudge of dirt on their cheek and he licks it off of them without noticing. Bonus points if he's got a rough tongue!!!

OWOWOWOWO HE GROOMSS!!! okay but kyouka would definitely suddenly start showing up with different hairstyles or naomi and yosani are like “yo how come ur hairs so neat drop the tutorial” and kyouka is like “atsushi. i dont know what he does” and atsushis just like :DDD so he becomes a makeshit hair salon for the Ladies . they love him

and ohoho!! lickin shit off. he wont think it’s a big deal but when dazai returns it and does the same to him he jerks back in shock and is like O-O cause he does N O T expect that (just like how cats dont expect it when u do the same mannerisms as them AGEJEHJSKDS)

i like to think that Atsushi can faintly smell people coming,

he can smell some green tea whenever Kyoka walks by, the sickly sweet candy smell Ranpo reeks of whenever he pops out of nowhere, and sometimes even a faint smell of white lillies of Dazai every now and then

with that being said, he can easily recognise smells he deems safe (safe being the agency) and smells that make him more alert, so he doesn't get jumpscared when an enemy suprises him, but could jump 40ft into the air if Kenji walks up behind him

let the tiger also be a part of the agency dammit

I’m not the most hardcore fan, but I still really need to see domestic cat atsushi. Atsushi with ball of yarn, catnip, scratching furniture, all that stuff.

I want a bsd au where Atsushi ran away from the orphanage at one point (maybe the tiger took over and ran off or something) and just ended up living in the woods for a while

Cannon eventually catches up with him one way or another and he’s still Atsushi but his feral cat meter is dialed up to ten

Like, he pushes Kunikida’s paperwork off his desk when annoyed

He takes naps whenever he ends up under a sunbeam

He has Matt Murdock super senses

Whenever he decides Akutagawa is being to much of a dick he just, Chomps™️

(I also really like the idea of Dazai having to explain things like curse words and sex and drugs the Atsushi ‘grew up in a catholic orphanage and then The Woods™️’ Nakajima)

Dazai makes one suicide joke and Atsushi is like "what's that??" and everyone just freezes all ?????

akutagawa sleeps like the dead. literally. on his back, hands crossed over his chest, not moving a single inch.

on the other hand, atsushi literally sprawls across the entire bed. he turns and accidentally slaps aku in the face with his arm. he yowls and chuffs and growls in his sleep.

it's horrible. neither of them get any sleep the first few days they start living together

finally got my act together and contributed to the atsushi big cat instincts agenda. more to come after finals!!!

Atsushi sleeping in the linen closet partly because he's cat like and it felt like a good idea.

But also because Atsushi spent his life often sleeping in a cage, and as awful as it was it's what he's used to.

He slept fine the first night because he was so exhausted but since than retreated to the linen closet.

It helps that it's both cosy and cool, which helps to ground him when he has nightmares.

And hey, now there's more space for Kyouka.
