Love how when they're all locked in the cellar in Malfoy Manor, Harry doesn't even think of attacking Draco when he comes down into the cellar. Even though he and the others are loose by then and they could probably have easily overpowered Draco and taken his wand - as they do immediately when Pettigrew comes in.
They could've overpowered Draco, Imperiused him with his own wand, and sent him back up to give some excuse while Dobby evacuated the others. But that would've put Draco in terrible danger. It would've meant attacking and potentially injuring him. It also would have meant that he would be blamed for the resultant escape, vastly increasing the likelihood that Voldemort would kill him. And Harry simply cannot bring himself to hurt Draco or put him in danger.
So when Draco comes down Harry does nothing. He doesn't even speak to him to try to shame or manipulate him as he does when he tells Pettigrew that he owes Harry his life. Even though Harry witnessed the scene on the Astronomy Tower and he knows that Draco isn't happy with his lot and is experiencing a lot more doubt and conflict than Pettigrew is, he says nothing to Draco and just complies with him. Thus keeping him out of a situation that could put him in danger.
And Draco, for his part, sees that Harry and Ron have already managed to escape from their bonds but doesn't report it when he goes upstairs. He takes Griphook, who confirms Hermione's story, thus saving her from being murdered on the spot or tortured more. And he says nothing about the fact that Harry is free, possibly planning an escape.
He didn't identify Harry. He turned his back on Ron and Hermione and refused to confirm their identities either, even though this behavior was very notable and suspicious given that they are not disguised and other recognize them. And when he sees that Ron and Harry are already loose in the cell, not still bound as they are meant to be, he says nothing.
He's probably sick with fear and horror, certain that there's no possibility of escape, and probably cursing himself for taking these risks and not simply doing everything he can to get his family back in Voldemort's good graces. But somehow he still hopes.
There's so much drarry content to comment on in this passage I hardly even know where to start.
1) Harry's animosity is all for Snape. The only time we really see him feel true anger towards Draco is at the end of 4th year. Otherwise he's rarely deeply angry at him. It would certainly be unsurprising if Harry blamed Draco for what happened, even if Snape struck the killing blow. But he doesn't. Quite the opposites in fact. He feels sympathy for Draco's plight and actively worries about him. Because he knows Draco so well that he can see right through him to the kind of person he really is - not a willing acolyte of Voldemort. And because Harry is drawn to and cares about Draco a lot more than his is willing to acknowledge, even to himself...
2) The thing Harry picks that he still blames Draco for is...his infatuation with the Dark Arts. Not his role in Dumbledore's death. Not anything he's ever done to Harry. Harry's nice but he's not usually THIS forgiving. Certainly not with people he doesn't care about or dislikes... And for all that Harry claims to dislike Draco he spends an awful lot of time worrying about him. Both here and in later passages as well as in book 7. In this section of book 6 he also claims Crabbe and Goyle look "lonely" without Draco but given the interactions we see between them in book 7 it's pretty unlikely they miss him so if anyone misses Draco and feels like his presence is something that has always been part of his life and that it's strange with out him...it's probably Harry.
3) It's also notable that even though Draco only had the chance to lower his wand a little bit Harry is utterly sure he wouldn't have killed Dumbledore. And instead of thinking about how Draco missed his chance to come back to the Light and now will fall deeper into the Dark, he worries about what Voldemort is "making" him do. Thus accepting that any further acts Draco carries out on Voldemort's behalf are against his will. He really understands Draco. And cares about his welfare. A lot more than an enemy or casual acquaintance would.
4) As an aside, it's also pretty hilarious that Harry's like 'Draco Malfoy? No I haven't thought about him much' *proceeds to spend an entire paragraph thinking about him and worrying if he's ok and then brings him up again a few paragraphs later*
Adrien dropping hints again that he is Chat Noir and also wanting Marinetteâs attention
We don't have much time left until Miraculous World: London - At the Edge of Time premiere so I decided to write out everything about it that's in my mind so maybe that âsome thoughtsâ is gonna be a little bit longer.
Anyways, here it comes!
This is the person that concerns me the most.
At first glance, this person clearly has a power that associates with time. They have a giant clock on their forehead and pretty much all over their costume and might be able to jump in time as well.
Now let's take a look at this shot:
Look at their left hand. It looks like they're holding something, something thin, it looks like it's either a tablet or a notebook. It also seems like they have a pen or something similar in their right hand.
Could it be that it's the same notebook where it's written in that Ladybug = Marinette Dupain-Cheng?
It's a mystery how long they have been lurking in the dark in the Agreste mansion's basement to gain what they needed. Did they just arrive, been there during the whole fight? Or maybe they've been here much longer than we could imagine. It seems this might be the moment when this person learns who's Paris's beloved heroine, they write it down then disappear to deliver the notebook into Lila's lair.
But where's Lila? She just leaves Nooro and the Butterfly Miraculous behind like that while someone breaks in her place to deliver crucial information. Is she in the toilet or something? She'll receive the notebook eventually but this whole setup looks very suspicious. It really looks like that stand got placed precisely there so that Clock Head (I will call them that from now on) could neatly place the notebook on it. And what are those boxes?
Now let's speculate where they might have gotten their powers.
This was the initial thought when there wasn't any trailer just leaks, after all the Rabbit Miraculous is able to give its users the ability to travel through different times. But after seeing how this dude uses their powers, that is they don't use the Burrow to travel in time, it got debunked right away, so there's no point in speculating over this anymore.
But we know that the two Bunnyx that we encountered so far possess three Rabbit Miraculous. One is used by mini Bunnyx, the other one is used by adult Bunnyx and the third one is the Kubdel family heirloom watch Alix got for her birthday. Now, it's possible that future Alix still uses the heirloom if they haven't fixed hers that was damaged by future Chat Noir. But either way, there are three Rabbit Miraculous that we saw and now there's someone who could use the third one: Marinette to become Chronobug. If she uses the third one that doesn't have an owner that we know about then neither present nor future Alix have to give up theirs for this.
And I'd like to use this point to speculate on where Marinette got her Ladybug Miraculous from.
The first thought was, she got it from her future self which seems eligible but after looking at the trailers for the 63637x time I have another theory on that.
Look at this scene from the French trailer:
This doesn't seem to fit in with everything that's happening. Why would Marinette put away her Miraculous? And why put it in a drawer? She's the Guardian, wouldn't it be more logical for her to put in the Miracle Box?
Unless, it's not present Marinette but her from the past. This whole scene looks pretty much alike with what happened in "Origins" when she first hesitated to use the Ladybug Miraculous because she didn't trust herself enough to become a superhero. Present Marinette using this particular part of her past to get a Miraculous seems valid since she didn't use it for a little while here and if she takes it, it will feel like it's just gone for a moment anyways.
So, she hops in with Bunnyx's help, takes her Miraculous then gets the third Rabbit Miraculous as well and then she can become Chronobug to save the World.
Clock Head's power coming from an Akuma seems more likely to be the case. Anyway, I'd like to use this opportunity to draw attention to this conversation between the Kwamis and Gabriel in "Destruction":
Gabriel to Orikko: You! You can grant me any power I want. You'll give me power to travel through time!
Orikko: No you're mistaken. Time travel is Fluff's power and I can't grant a power that already belongs to another Kwami.
Gabriel: Are you trying to deceive me?
Orikko: By all means, read the Grimoire again.
Sass: Each Kwami represents a concept and each concept can only exist once in the Universe.
...
It was a very interesting conversation. Orikko can't give the power of time travel to anyone because it already exists, if I understand correctly. But what about Nooroo? Timetagger is an Akumatized villain from the future who's able to travel through time. So it looks like, while Orikko is unable to grant powers that belong to other Kwamis Nooroo's ability can give those powers, or at least it's the case with time travel.
But what about what Sass said? "Each Kwami represents a concept and each concept can only exist once in the Universe." If each concept can only exist once wouldn't that mean the Akumatization also shouldn't be able to give the power of time travel since it belongs to another Kwami? Nooroo's and Orikko's abilities are clearly very different, but that doesn't mean that different rules should apply to them in the same Universe. Maybe I just missed something if that's the case, please inform me.
Anyhow, the Butterfly Miraculous's power gives very unique abilities to the Akumatized people and that might be the reason why it can also grant powers that already exist, because they're slightly different from each other.
But if that's the case why haven't we seen Gabriel use this; not giving the ability to travel through time with Orikko's power but using Nooroo's to give a different but still essentially the same ability to either to himself or to someone else? Or...wait...hmm...
We already witnessed episodes where someone from the future comes to either mess up things or to fix it, but we haven't seen someone from the past stirring up the present. I'm not necessarily saying that Gabriel has it in him to come up with such a plan and it wouldn't even make sense that Clock Head puts the notebook with the information into the lair of the next holder of the Butterfly Miraculous if they'd be Monarch's minion.
But what if the reason why Gabriel set Lila aside was because he looked into the future with a power given by an Akuma to either him or to someone else and discovered that the future Hawkmoth Timetagger mentioned is her. Or even better, what if Gabriel and future Lila are actually working together? That the whole sacrifice he made was actually just part of their plan alongside bringing Gabriel back eventually? Or past Gabriel and future Lila are competing with each other to see who's the better Hawkmoth? Okay, these scenarios are just products of my tired brain, let's move on.
Anyways, my final conclusion with Clock Head reverts back to the future (lol).
The above setup in Lila's lair is oddly specific as I mentioned before, as if she waited for the notebook to appear right there. I'm starting to doubt that Timetagger is the only Akumatized villain that was sent from the future. Why? Lila found out Hawkmoth's identity in a way that's unknown to us. It could be just a coincidence but for a show that makes a huge deal out of secret identities, the fact that she just knew somehow feels a little odd. I think the reason she was able to discover it is because her future self is occasionally sending minions to her. Timetagger was the first, as we know, she might have had a test run with him and slowly put together a plan to gain the Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses; and Clock Head too, is someone sent by future Lila and they're the part of the ultimate plan.
I wouldn't dare to speculate on the gender of the character based on their figure since we all saw instances in Miraculous when that wasn't so obvious (I'm specifically talking about the New York special here) but i just want to put these three images beside each other.
Chat Noir and Aspik have slim enough frame like Clock Head has, and of course let's not forget about the similarities on Aspik's and Clock Head's masks. Also look at them legs on Chat Noir and Aspik and now look at them legs on Clock Head:
I've read some other theories before that also came to the conclusion that this is Baldrien, I mean Adrien and I can't really think of anyone else either. At the back of my mind there's still Lila as well tho and I will write about her more below.
We all know that Adrien was in London in his white room during the fight between Bug Noir and Monarch so there's no way he could be there at the end to write down Ladybug's identity into the notebook. Except, if it's future Adrien. He's actually a very easy target to Akumatization especially if the Butterfly Miraculous holder is aware of the fact that he's a Senti-being and targeted his Amok, the twin rings specifically. And he showed us multiple times how emotionally unstable he can be. Also, future Chat Noir damaging future Bunnyx's Miraculous was really just an accident? Plus, seeing an Akumatized Adrien could be a good trigger on why Marinette will never want to reveal the full truth to him. This is the only way I can also explain these two shots:
It looks like these scenes are in the London lab where Adrien and Kagami were held captives and no one really knows about that place and what went down there. So if Clock Head is Adrien from the future he could very well hide there since he knows about that location.
Either way, whoever are they, one thing I'm certain about is that this person will be the endgame, that after Chronobug defeats them at the right time and use her Lucky Charm that will mark the end of the special, since it was them in the first place who discovered Ladybug's identity.
I saw others call them Ghost Guy so I'll also call them that.
When I first read the synopsis I was very sceptical about the someone has stolen the Ladybug Miraculous while Marinette was asleep part. She's very wary especially after what happened with Felix. But now seeing that the person who steals the Miraculouses is having ghost-like abilities, I'm more convinced.
Ghost Guy probably read the notes the other dude left at Lila's lair, went to Marinette's room, stole all Miraculous, not just the Cat and Ladybug one then visited her lair again to deliver them and from the looks of it they also put them into those boxes that probably got prepared for that purpose.
I also have a feeling that the glowing blue light on their hands indicates when they're able to touch something even when they're transparent.
I saw some theories on who this person might be. I've read it's either Adrien or Lila, maybe Felix. I tried to make something out of the symbol that's on their chest, hopefully it has some connection to who could this be, however it doesn't ring any bell to me. If someone has any idea about this don't hesitate to share it.
For me Lila seems to be the most logical possibility. The only evidence I have that it's her is the sheer fact that this person is standing in Lila's lair right after they deliver the Miraculouses and put them in those carefully positioned boxes, near the notebook where their accomplice, who's supposedly from the future, wrote down who's Ladybug. Not a solid evidence with a bunch of holes; both of them could be working for her for all we know.
The end of the synopsis said this: All that remains is to hope for one thing: that Ladybug succeeds in defeating her opponent, otherwise it will be the end of Ladybug for good.
Now this could be just a figure of speech to indicate that everything will be wiped out but why only mention Ladybug when the whole World is in danger? My theory is that based on that snip of the synopsis that the wish was for Ladybug to never exist. And that makes perfect sense if the one who will make the wish is Ghost Lila, since she despises Marinette and Ladybug to the core.
She was there at the Agreste Mansion when the battle happened between Bug Noir and Monarch.
I assume she was there to collect the Butterfly Miraculous which seems rather suspicious, like how did she know it will be lost in the rubble? Her future self told her? Anyway, the brooch probably was her top priority and didn't have time to look around or to sneak a peek when Bug Noir de-trasnformed. Not to mention she wasn't the only one who was there, Clock Head had to be there around the same time as her.
But here is the thing: when Clock Head brings the notebook to her lair, Nooroo with the Butterfly Miraculous and the whole set up was already there. Assuming that Lila has some help from the future, she can put those boxes and the stand beforehand, but she had to bring back Nooroo in record time. And I have two more theories regarding this.
The lair that we see in the trailers is actually future Lila's place. Future Lila sent Clock Head (Adrien?) back in time to gain the information about Ladybug then they delivered the notebook to the future, then future Lila went as Ghost Guy to collect the Miraculouses from present Marinette and then made a wish. I have one problem with this theory: it completely removes present Lila from the picture; also what the lair looks like is the same as we saw before in the present.
I know that above I already kind of established the Clock Head is Adrien theory but I'd like to back down from that here and say it's actually Lila from the future. Future Lila went back in time to find out who's Ladybug, while present Lila collected the Butterfly Miraculous. In present Lila's lair she already set up the stand and the boxes because she got informations from her future self about a plan where she can get the Miraculouses from the Guardian. Present Lila went back to her lair in record time with the brooch, then future Lila brought the notebook which present Lila read. Present Lila then became Ghost Guy, went to Marinette's room fetched the Miraculouses then went back to her lair and after she carefully placed the Miraculouses, she made a wish with the Cat and Ladybug ones. My problem with this scenario is, it completely neglects Adrien, since here present and future Lila work together as the Clock Head and Ghost Guy. And why would she go to the London lab?
My last question remains, why are there only three boxes displayed on the desk? There are 15 Miraculous that got modified into rings. Maybe Ghost Guy put there those that they need and put away the ones that they think are useless. Or those are not even Miraculouses? We can't see them clearly in the picture after all.
This scene was put at the very end of the last episode of season 5, after the pool scene, but we don't really know when it happened.
If the scenes are in chronological order then what happened there has nothing to do with the happenings in the London special since the London special is before the pool scene. And that seems more reasonable to me, since when she talks with Mr. Damocles via laptop it looks like he just moved from somewhere or to somewhere which requires some time to do; and from the moment he left his job to Monarch's attack I don't think that much time has passed for him to make so much progress in moving. And let's not forget that he's The Owl, he probably helped people after Monarch's defeat to get back on their feet and didn't have much time to talk about school with anyone for a while.
In any case, whether this scene is right after she gained the Butterfly Miraculous or after the pool one, I think it's one of her visitors from the future. Or maybe Gabriel from the past.
And this concludes my speculations. What do you think of all this?
How Gabriel Agreste Destroyed Adrien's Life: A 3 a.m. Analysis
From: âI enrolled in a school without my father's permission, I ran away from home to attend the first day of school and although I don't want my father to be angry with me, I'm not afraid of a punishment either because I KNOW there won't be oneâ.
To: âMy girlfriend is alone with my father, with no one to protect her, completely defenceless. I NEED TO SAVE HERâ.
One knows that his father is a good person who, no matter how angry he is, would never hurt him. The other doesn't, it's the opposite, he is no longer sure of anything, he fears for the safety of those he loves and is so terrified that he is about to have a panic attack.
But how did we get from the first to the second?
How Gabriel Agreste's abuse managed to completely change his son in a matter of days
People don't remember this because it happened a long time ago and has not been repeated, but Adrien used to be a NORMAL person, not as perfect as he is now. While he has always been kind and polite, there were also times when he allowed himself to be a bit hostile and not as perfect as we are used to seeing him (as Adrien, not as Chat Noir). Usually that âgood boyâ facade was only used in front of his father and Nathalie, but in front of his friends he behaved like a normal teenager, even becoming a bit teasing, self-centred and rebellious. "The Bubbler", "Animan", "Kung Food" and "Evillustrator" being the clearest examples of these behaviours, in particular towards Nino, ChloĂ© and Marinette.
In S1 it becomes clear that the only conflict Adrien has with his father is the fact that he does not give him as much freedom as Adrien would like. Apart from this, Adrien has no other problems with him and considers him to be a good father. There are several of Adrien's behaviours that suggest that Gabriel's overprotectiveness towards him was the only thing wrong with him, but that otherwise Gabriel was excellent. It is time for us to look at that.
1. Origins
Adrien literally enrolled in a school without his father's permission and when his father refused to approve Adrien's attendance, he ran away from home and went running to school. When Nathalie tries to convince him to come back Adrien simply says âthis is what I wantâ and turns around to continue up the stairs, not caring if she has anything else to say. He hears that someone needs help and immediately goes to their aid, and as soon as he finishes doing that he turns to Nathalie and the bodyguard with a charming smile expecting to see their proud faces, and when instead he sees that they are still angry he is immediately horrified and gives up.
This tells us a lot about Adrien: he is a spoilt child who has never been punished in his life, and when things get difficult his first reaction is to be adorable or do a good deed to be forgiven. Adrien intended to leave Nathalie talking to herself, and he wasn't worried about the idea of being punished when he got home from school because he knew it wasn't likely to happen. He then helps someone to ingratiate himself with Nathalie and the bodyguard so that they will stop being angry, and when he realises that it didn't work he is surprised. He is used to people forgiving his disobedience just because he is cute. He immediately gives up and asks Nathalie not to tell Gabriel. While he didn't want his father to be angry with him, he also didn't fear punishment because he knew he wouldn't get it.
Later, at the mansion, Adrien realises that Nathalie did tell Gabriel and he feels betrayed, as if he didn't expect her to do that. Basically, he is not used to people disobeying him. Gabriel again forbids Adrien from going to school but it's nothing he hasn't said before: Gabriel reprimands Adrien's behaviour with words, never with punishment, and there comes a point when words are no longer enough and Adrien is no longer afraid of them, hence he becomes ârebelliousâ. The next day Adrien runs away again and, surprise surprise, he is not punished, in fact he is rewarded. Despite having disobeyed his father again, he is rewarded and allowed to go to school, even Nathalie (whom he treated very badly) offers to help him. This reward is without explanation, just because. I'm not saying Adrien deserved to be locked up for life at home, at the end of the day he's just a teenager who wants to socialise with more people, but it's clear he was a spoilt child whose behaviours both good and bad were praised, just like ChloĂ© and Felix, so if you ever wondered why he was such good friends with them, here's your answer.
2. The Bubbler
Here we get confirmation of how Adrien is a good boy only in front of his father and Nathalie, and how he is himself in front of his friends. At the beginning of the episode he together with Nino makes fun of his father because he does not agree to throw him a birthday party. Then, when Nino is akumatized, he at first refuses to be part of the party because he cares about Nino and wants to save him. Even when he realises that all the adults are trapped in bubbles, he never cares about his father, Nathalie or his bodyguard, only about saving Nino. And then he also gives up on this idea after a little chat with Plagg and says: "Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once", and Adrien joins the party without any show of consideration for the adults he knows.
Although all these behaviours were forgotten by the fandom, they are important to understand Adrien's character and how he changed due to his father's abuse. This is the normal behaviour of a teenager with a bit of a grudge: he's not a psychopath who wants something bad to happen to his father, he's a kid who knows that in the end he and his superhero partner will fix everything and he allows himself to have fun in the meantime. But it's something the current Adrien would never do, and there's where the difference lies.
3. Volpina & The Collector
This is the last episode in which we see Adrien acting like a normal teenager. He overhears Gabriel talking on the phone and decides to spy on him, then discovers that he has a safe behind his mother's portrait and out of curiosity goes to investigate. Adrien discovers the book and takes it with him, when he is discovered he quickly makes up a lie. RIP pre-lobotomised Adrien, you will always be missed.
This is the key point in the change of behaviour of both Adrien and Gabriel.
Gabriel confronts Adrien and he immediately gives an explanation in a tone of voice intended to generate sympathy:
âI just wanted to know what you were hiding behind that portrait that was so important.
This doesn't work so he resorts to blaming Gabriel himself:
âYou.. you never told me about those things.
And this doesn't work either, so he decides to admit what he did but also looks for a way to justify himself:
âI was intending to give it back to you, I swear. But then I lost it.
Gabriel tells Adrien that he no longer trusts him, and what is Adrien's reaction? He just looks jaded and apologises to Gabriel, in an attitude that makes it clear that he is used to apologising to make things right, that he is not genuinely sorry, and also offers to buy him a new copy, confident that this will be enough for Gabriel to forgive him. This confirms the previous point: Adrien is used to getting out of his punishments just because he looks cute or does a good deed, and this became so repetitive that Adrien already knew how to get out of a punishment, and was not afraid of his father but simply tired of scolding that went nowhere. Again, there is no fear of consequences.
Everything changes completely when Gabriel tells him that this book is unique in the world, that there is no other copy. Apologies didn't work and the other form of redemption, buying him a copy, wasn't possible. Then is when Adrien's face changes completely to horror: he has just understood the magnitude of his mistake. His father punishes him by forbidding him to go back to school and Adrien is heartbroken, but does not try to reason with his father (as he had done, and many times, in past episodes). This is the birth of the Adrien we know now: from a normal boy to a submissive puppet. He knows that there is no way to redeem himself and that is why he decides not to fight, he finally realises that his actions have consequences, serious ones, taking away what is most precious to him: his freedom.
From here on we see a completely changed Adrien, from a rebellious teenager to a perfect doll with no thoughts of his own. Before, he pretended to be perfect only in front of his father, Nathalie and his bodyguard. Now he pretends to be perfect in front of everyone, regardless of whether he knows them or not. The trauma can be clearly seen: Adrien adopts this neat behaviour because he is afraid that his freedom will be taken away if his father finds out that he made another mistake. Now Adrien knows that he CAN be punished. He doesn't even allow himself to breathe in peace because of all the stress and fear he carries. And so it is that Adrien becomes a puppet unable to stop pretending even in front of his own friends: we go from an Adrien who was not afraid to react strangely to Marinette's odd behaviour, who was not afraid to tease Nino about his crush and who was not afraid to put Chloé in her place when the situation warranted it, to an Adrien who could not even keep his back bent for fear that his father would consider it inappropriate.
Gabriel Agreste being a shitty father and exploiting his son's weaknesses to profit from them
Despite being strict with Adrien, there were times when Gabriel let him spend time with his friends and have fun with them. In fact, in S1 there are several of these, most of them to be found there (before all the drama).
In âAnimanâ he is in the zoo helping Nino with his date with Marinette.
In âGamerâ he is playing video games for the school championship at Marinette's house.
In âKung Foodâ he comes to Marinette's house to help her with her uncle and even takes them to the hotel and stays for dinner with them, he spends practically the whole day away from home.
In âHorrificatorâ he spends many hours filming the movie for the school.
In âThe puppeteerâ he is going somewhere alone and relaxed.
In âTimebreakerâ he is present during the race between Alix and Kim.
As you can see, despite being strict, Gabriel sometimes let his son spend time with his friends. When did this change? After the book incident. After forbidding Adrien to attend school, Gabriel noticed how heartbroken he was and realised that school and his friends were not a whim for Adrien, but something he truly cherished. And Gabriel used these feelings to manipulate Adrien. In S1, before the incident, Adrien is more ârebelliousâ and still has enough freedom to be with his friends. In S2, after the incident, Adrien behaves much better than in S1 and still doesn't have half as much freedom as before, and when he finally gets his father's permission to be with his friends, something happens at the last minute (Heroes Day Part 2, for example). This is because his father has discovered his Achilles' heel and uses it to benefit himself and manipulate Adrien.
The clearest proof of this is in the difference between âHorrificatorâ, where Gabriel let Adrien spend hours in the school filming the movie, and âQueen Bananaâ, where Gabriel let Adrien go for only a few minutes to the filming and right after he finished his part he literally left in a cage hanging from a helicopter. It is clear the pleasure that man developed in making his son miserable.
And we could talk about âChat Blacâ and âEphemeralâ, but I won't touch those topics as they are not part of our timeline. I'll just say that they made it clear how far Gabriel is willing to go (literally traumatise Adrien) in order to get what he wants. What I think, is sick.
Adrien's Stockholm Syndrome: normalisation, justification and romanticisation, and how it makes him vulnerable to unhealthy relationships
1. Gabriel
We have already made it clear that Adrien became an uncritical puppet, and as a result he developed a terrible Stockholm syndrome. Adrien normalised all the manipulation, and by accepting it as something usual this caused him to start justifying it as well. Needless to name the episodes, in many of them there is always someone (usually Nino, Marinette or Plagg) who points out his father's problematic behaviour and Adrien immediately tries to justify it with âhe does it because he loves meâ or âhe just wants to protect meâ. This shows us a big difference from the Adrien of S1 who was aware of his father's behaviour and even made fun of it, the current Adrien would never do that, on the contrary, he seems to live to justify Gabriel's actions. That's how serious the brainwashing is.
With Gabriel's behaviours now normalised and justified, they in turn begin to be romanticised. Despite being a shitty person, there are moments when Gabriel treats Adrien well: like when he hugs him (something Adrien is not used to), his worried words to Chat Noir about losing Adrien, or when he watches his mother's movie with him. These are all details that if they weren't accompanied by manipulation, anyone could call âcuteâ. And this makes Adrien unaware of the manipulation at first: his own denial and the kind details his father had for him confused his brain. Adrien did not think that his father could be so kind to him if he was a bad person, and that is why Adrien refused to consider him as such. This is a method of self-defence against dangerous situations, the feelings developed by this are not only romantic but any kind of feelings that are enough to make the victim feel safe in dangerous environments.
2. Kagami and Marinette
Let's start with Adrigami. Adrien didn't show a strong interest in Kagami until the chapter âOni-Chanâ where he even rejects Ladybug's fist to make sure Kagami is okay, but what led to this? The romanticisation of obsession and control.
Kagami is simply Adrien's friend, but when she sees a photo of him with another girl, she gets so jealous that she is akumatized and starts chasing this other girl to get her away from Adrien. This is behaviour that is bad as a girlfriend, but even worse as a friend. Adrien doesn't take this seriously and even spends the whole fight making jokes instead of worrying that one of her friends is a jealous girl who is willing to kill for him even if they don't have any kind of commitment. Then, when he sees that Kagami still has the rose he gave her, his behaviour immediately changes and you could say that this is when he starts to feel a real attraction to her, even rejecting Ladybug's fist, whom he had long been in love with.
Here we see how dangerous the romanticisation of problematic behaviour is: Adrien is willing to let go of all the chaos Kagami caused and all her toxic behaviour just because she showed that she really âloved himâ. And he reciprocates her feelings because he finds it cute that someone is in love with him enough to go crazy. The romanticisation of Gabriel's actions eventually led Adrien to romanticise other people's actions, even going so far as to feel honoured by all the questionable actions these people committed under the justification of loving him.
Something quite similar happens with Adrinette. In S5 Adrien mentions that he started to accept his feelings for Marinette from what happened in âThe Puppeteer 2â, and there's no way this isn't weird. He had feelings for Marinette long before that, but it was that event that led him to accept them. Marinette literally assaults a âstatueâ just because it looks like Adrien, starts fantasizing about a life together, steals one of his hair and many other weird things, and what's Adrien's response? To say that he fell in love. He literally saw how far Marinette was capable of going because of her obsession with him, and as much as that behaviour was justified with âit was a jokeâ, instead of caring, what he does is fall in love with her... because of her obsessive and bizarre behaviour towards him.
It is honestly quite disappointing to see how Gabriel's manipulation damaged Adrien to the point of leaving him craving only unhealthy relationships because that was his perception of love.
Both victim and perpetrator
Adrien developed a split personality and a taste for taking advantage of people when he is in situations of power. Gabriel turned Adrien into a victim and a perpetrator, the role depending on the situation. When Adrien is the one at a disadvantage, he displays submissive and manageable behaviour. When he has all the power, he has no problem using it selfishly and taking advantage of others. This was taught by Gabriel, from prudence to ruthlessness, are things Adrien learned from him. And in a way that's how Adrien differs from Chat Noir: the power they possess.
Adrien is always at a disadvantage: his life is in the public eye, everything he does is always monitored by his father or his fans, and if he makes a mistake it is very easy for his father to find out and punish him. This is why Adrien, always powerless, forces himself to act submissively. He does not possess the power in such situations, so he can only act as he is expected to act.
As Chat Noir things are quite different, he always has the power. Chat Noir is a superhero, he watches over Paris but no one watches over him, he has freedom, destructive power, a city that depends on him and a partner who needs him to defeat the supervillains. He has the power. And he uses this power to his advantage.
A clear example of this is his tendency to threaten. Adrien has several times been willing to give up his miraculous and even verbally threaten (in a passive-aggressive way) Ladybug just because it bothers him that she has secrets. All of S2 was Adrien threatening to give up his miraculous if Ladybug didn't tell him her secrets, and this behaviour wasn't like âwe can't keep hiding things from each other anymore, this isn't healthy for me and if we're not going to be honest it's best to just give upâ, no, this behaviour was like âif you don't tell me what you're hiding, I'll give this up and you see if you can do it all by yourself or if you find me a replacementâ. I understand that he was tired of the situation, but manipulation is never justifiable behaviour. Evidence of this is found in episodes such as âSyrenâ, where Adrien even threatens Plagg with give up his Miraculous if he doesn't tell him what Ladybug is hiding.
Another example is âGlaciatorâ, where he invites Ladybug to a dinner and she makes it clear that she already has plans and is unlikely to go. And yet Adrien is self-illusioned, and when his fantasies are shattered by something Ladybug had already warned him would happen, he simply accuses her of mocking him, throws a tantrum, refuses to help with the akuma, and when Ladybug comes up with a good plan to defeat the villain he guilts her by saying: âSorry, Ladybug, it's not cool to play with people's feelingsâ when Ladybug never played with his feelings and in fact realised these only minutes ago.
There are many other episodes like these, too many to list. I guess the most notorious ones are âNY Specialâ (where he has no problem being unfaithful to Kagami) and âLiesâ (where he also has no problem being unfaithful, lying to her, trying to provoke akumatizations and so on). His problematic behaviours are not only as Chat Noir, but also as Adrien when he finds himself in relationships where he has the power. In his courtship with Kagami he knows that she is completely in love with him and uses this to his advantage and does truly horrible things like the ones mentioned above without regard for her feelings because he knows or believes that she won't leave him. Something similar happens with his friendship with ChloĂ©, he knows how much ChloĂ© appreciated him and so every time she committed a bad deed he threatened to end their friendship. It's not wrong to want your friend to stop being a shitty person, and it's okay to let him/her know that if he/she continues this stupid behaviour you'll have no choice but to walk away, but the problem with this is that we go from Adrien's genuine concern for ChloĂ© to empty threats just because, in the end, ChloĂ© wouldn't change her behaviour and he wouldn't leave either.
Conclusions
This is not as well written as I would like it to be. I procrastinated for weeks and when I finally decided to write it I no longer had the series so fresh in my memory. I am a teenager with no professional knowledge of psychology who wrote this at 3 a.m. while I was not so sober.
This post is not salt against Adrien/Chat Noir, in all of âMiraculousâ there are only two or three characters I hate and none of those are Adrien, so this post is not hate towards him. While I did describe some of his behaviour in a not so nice way, that was not a personal opinion but an analysis. Like when you go to a psychologist and he doesn't give you his personal opinion but a diagnosis, the main difference being that I am not a professional nor do I claim to be one. Anyways, this is a direct attack on Gabriel Agreste for being a shitty person.
As you may have noticed, most of this analysis is based on S1 to S3. While I did mention some episodes from S4 and S5 they were not as relevant, this is because the first 3 seasons are the ones I've seen the most and ergo the ones I remember the most, maybe later (I don't think so) I'll do a part two on S4 and S5.
Finally: my personal opinion on Adrien. He is an amazing character whose development and build goes unnoticed by the fandom, this is probably because it wasn't done on purpose (if this character build was planned it wouldn't be half as good as it is, the writers aren't that talented). Adrien is just a boy, a victim of an abusive home that ingrained several of his father's behaviours within him and he has no âtrue personalityâ as this depends on the situation he finds himself in. He acts this way as a method of survival and although it is not right, it is a psychological response and it is not as if he can help it. I'm really happy that the poor boy is free from his abusive father and I hope that in S6 he can be happy and get therapy.
âšWebtoon Recommendationâš
Title: Touch Me Not!
Where to read: Webtoon (Canvas)
An Isekai webtoon set in the 19th century Philippines and based on the famous Filipino classic novel, Noli Me Tangere by Dr. Jose Rizal.
Sam was an ordinary modern-day English language teacher who went to a bookstore to buy the novel her foreign student wants to read. On her way, she saw her high school classmate, Luke, who is now a history teacher. She pretended not to see him since they're not really close back then, only to find out they were both looking for the same book: the Noli Me Tangere. But due to a high demand and fewer supply, the book was sold out everywhere (lol). However, the bookshop clerk told them there's still one copy left, so the two of them started bickering on who found the book first until a blackout happened and Sam lost consciousness. When she woke up, she found herself in the world of Noli Me Tangere. It's worse enough to be isekai'd inside a historical novel with tragic ending, until Sam found out she even became Maria Clara, the novel's female lead who was the epitome of beauty and grace. Meanwhile, Luke also got transported in the same novel as Crisostomo Ibarra, the idealistic male lead. Now the two of them have to find a way to go back to the real world, while trying to keep the flow of the original novel.
Since this series is in Webtoon Canvas, please expect slower updates and shorter chapters, but this is definitely a must-read! And I'm so happy to finally see an Isekai webtoon about my country's history and culture đ I also recommend reading the Noli Me Tangere novel (if you're curious about it, it's available online in English, Spanish and Tagalog versions) since it's not a typical romance story. It's more of a political and social satire, and I'm glad the webtoon mirrors it.
every time i think book 6 can't get any drarryer i go back thru it and notice something else. just noticed this bit where harry is canonically able to recognize the sound of draco's footsteps.
it could've just as easily been snape walking towards the door. but harry doesn't need to wait for the door to open to know whether it's snape or draco who is walking out. just a split second of hearing draco's particular gait is enough for him to recognize it.
Mister Bug:Â There will be a price to pay! Safari:Â I have nothing left to lose! Mister Bug:Â You do! You can lose yourself and the ones you love. You can lose anyone who loves you back. No matter who you are, there is always someone out there who loves you!
This is a theory Iâve mentioned before but it bears repeating now that weâre (hopefully) soon getting season 6.
Thereâs been some salt regarding the fact that Colt died so much later than Emilie, and itâs not unfounded. We donât have an explanation for why two âidenticalâ sentikids caused such different outcomes for their creators.
The Peacock Miraculous was broken by mysterious circumstances prior to Adrienâs creation, and I have a separate theory for that, but thatâs not the point of this post.
The theory I propose is that Emilie did not create just one, but two sentimonster embryos.
We know thereâs a rule that only one sentimonster can be made at a time, and maybe the second embryo created worsened the Peacockâs damage? Still havenât ironed out the details with that yet.
Either way, Nathalie created many more sentimonsters than Emilie and Colt, she also seemed to succumb much faster after even the first sentimonster she created in Mayura. Emilie and Colt seem to be implied that they only had effects after a period of time.
Back to the theorized Adrienâs twin. What happened to them? Hereâs where things get juicy.
Thereâs a tragic phenomenon that can happen in early multiple births, called Vanishing Twin Syndrome. Itâs when an embryo passes away and leaves the second twin alone. The deceased twin is often called a sunset baby, and the surviving twin, a sunrise baby.
Typically the embryo is absorbed by the mother, or is passed, but thereâs a second phenomenon called Human Chimerism where the embryo is absorbed by their twin embryo. If the twins are fraternal, that means the surviving twin has two sets of DNA.
Two amoks joined, two rings that can be combined into a single ring, and two embryos that fused together to create one child: Adrien Agreste.
Hereâs where my silly theory starts to go off the rails. I think Adrienâs twin was created to be a girl. I have no evidence of any of this other than vibes, the ridiculous amount of twin characters in Miraculous, Ivanâs baggage with his baby sister (Ivan is Comerade Aioli while Adrien is Comerade Mayonnaise), and Argos calling Red Moon âhis sisterâ.
And then thereâs the undeniable truth of Adrienâs treatment in the show, due to his inherent femininity.
And then we have ANOTHER phenomenon where Adrien has XX/XY Chimerism.
There are few intersex characters in fiction, and most of them are intersex due to mystical means. XX/XY Chimerism is rare, but itâs a real condition that actual humans in the real world can have. While Adrien was created through magic, he very much would have a real condition that exists in real life.
[Obligatory link for my meta about Sentikids being an allagory for intersex kids]
Now hereâs where my crack spaghetti theory turns into speculation and where Iâd personally go with the story. Going to warn you now that it gets a bit angsty. Something had to be sacrificed in order for the new Universe to be created afterall.
Iâve mentioned before many times that Gabemoth made the Wish before, if not multiple times, and the entirety of the ML is a 15 year timeloop.
Where Iâd personally go with the story is that in Universe Zero, Adrienâs twin sister was born and is alive. And she held the Black Cat Miraculous, while her brother held the Ladybug Miraculous.
Iâd personally name them Adrienne and Celeste Agreste. In their Universe, Gabriel also created Alliance rings, but instead they were called True Horizon. A play on the Sea meeting the Sky.
You canât deny the Cat and the Ladybug BOTH being connected to Gabemoth isnât something that would have been incredible storytelling.
Anyway, I digress.
In the finale, it isnât the Ladybug who is alone, but the Black Cat. Gabriel has somehow found out the identities of the two heroes.
Adrienne, in her righteous fury acts impulsively, but Gabemoth is two steps ahead of her.
Because Felix wasnât created until a later Universe, Gabemoth is still in possession of the Peacock Miraculous. He snaps Adrienneâs twin brother from existence.
Gabemoth has either an akumatized villain or a sentimonster deliver the Ladybug miraculous to him.
In her shocked grief, Gabemoth takes Adrienneâs Black Cat Ring from her.
He makes his Wish, with Adrienne as a sacrifice⊠The Universe is Destroyed and Remade, and the next cycle continues.
This would give meta reason that Adrien wasnât at the final battle: he hasnât learned about the twin sister, the original Chat Noire that loves him so much, and still exists in his heart and DNA.
It can bring about an arc of Adrien FINALLY learning to love and accept himself, flaws and all, and take off the various masks he wears both in and out of costume.
It would ALSO give a reason for Adrien to wield both the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous in a later major finale battle.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk
Someone ought to tell HarryâŠ
Have a wonderful week everybody đ»đđ
Well, let's start with origins, this chapter is the most important of all because it begins the entire story and the first pieces of the puzzle, we have to be attentive to everything because THERE ARE CLUES IN EVERYTHING ok let's get to it.
The chapter already starts strong, a narrator tells us about the miraculous, what they are and that they were used to help humanity and here this sequence says a lot.
HERE ARE 2 IMPORTANT POINTS TO RESOLVE.
1 Who created the miraculous? According to the New York special comics, "the Miraculous were created and manufactured by a magician", (THIS ACCORDING TO THE CONVERSATION WITH MARINETTE), so I ask who of all the Miraculous characters gets the nickname of magician? aha Felix, MOTE THAT COMES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN "FELIX" IN T3, BUT THIS IS NOT THE ONLY INTERESTING THING, IF WE ANALYZE THE NAME of Master FU, it also begins with "F" like Felix, meaning that through Fu They tell us about Félix (in the same way that through Chloe we are sometimes told about Kagami and Zoé about Marinette as a teenager) and, to confirm this, in the chapter PRINCESS FRAGRANCE, WHEN SHE HEALS TIKKI, SHE CALLS HIM A WIZARD, SO IT'S CLEAR.
-----FU IS THE WIZARD=FELIX IS THE WIZARD=FU IS FELIX --------
2 the voice of the narrator, THE VOICE of the narrator is nooro, and this is important, if we think about it, it takes us to Gabriel and therefore to Adrien, who will be the future villain, but it also takes us to Adrien Felix wears it because Adrien was born from Felix and from Adrien, the current Felix that we all know was born, So in some way it gives us to understand that this story is being told? read? BY FELIX.
point 1 and 2, may be giving us 2 clues, on the one hand, THAT IN THE SAME WAY THAT Marinette IS A LEADER AND GUARDIAN, FELIX IS ALSO GOING TO BE, BUT WITH A DIFFERENT APPROACH, LET'S REMEMBER THAT HE IS YANG AND SHE IS YING THEY WILL BE LEADERS, TWO LEADERS AND EACH ONE WILL DO IT IN A DIFFERENT WAY.
AND THE OTHER, which IS the theory of MARINETTE'S DIARY.
"MARINETTE'S DIARY THEORY, is a very popular theory that tells us that since she is going to lose her memory, and is currently writing a diary, the series itself is the memoir of Marinette's diary that Adrien would be reading to her. the adult Marinette so that she would remember, that is why the series is titled The Adventures of Ladybug, like a story or a story."
but ONE DOUBT IS IT FELIX OR ADRIEN WHO READS THIS DIARY?, Félix, HOW DO WE KNOW?
-ADRIEN CAN'T BE THEN, Adrien is going to be a villain, So it wouldn't make sense for it to be him.
-WE HAVE THE CLUE ABOVE, that it was a "wizard who created the miraculous", the wizard is Félix, so if he created the miraculous, he created this universe, if we are reading Marinette's memories, that has to be Félix , because with it the creation of these jewels begins, logically including the ladybug earrings.
-The voice is somehow related to someone close to Felix (POINT 2)
-If we don't say well, the insect that nooro represents is a butterfly, a mixture of a winged being and an insect, this speaks a little about the fusion of ARGOS WHICH IS A BIRD AND LADYBUG AN INSECT, therefore this leads us yes or yes to Felix, what's more, if we think about it, nooro is purple, how is purple formed? mixed RED AND BLUE, COLORS OF ARGOS AND LADYBUG
-And finally, the topic of reading is something that suits Felix more than Adrien, since he loves to read.
So they may be giving us a very subtle clue (remember that it is the beginning of the series) that yes, this series is a story told by Félix himself based on what he experienced and Marinette's diary. (THIS IS FELINETTE PER 1000)
The next image that appears is several ancient characters carrying miraculous and using their powers, this is important because here it already tells us a little about the series.
"Miraculous are magical jewels that grant powers and must be used for the good of humanity"
and then in those lines these two images appear
Well, these images already tell us what kind of attitude those chosen should have, first of all they must be brave and protective (something that can be applied to FELIX and MARINETTE, since they are more the ones who protect than the protected) but their ways are very different In the 1st image we see how instead of attacking the enemy, he directly stops him, while in the 2nd he opts for action and combat, this images is telling us about ladybug and chatnoir in action AND MARINETTE AND FELIX, they are those chosen to wear these miraculous because they have a good system of values, therefore, THE AUTHENTIC PROTAGONISTS OF THIS SERIES, that is why this chapter is titled ladybug and chatnoir, because with this sequence, they are saying why, who and what attitudes they should have these 2 boys to carry such great power, but this would also conform to what we said above, they are role models and leaders.
1 image we are told about ladybug, we see that the wearer has the shape of a fawn or deer, deer live in forests where there is a lot of vegetation, and they feed on it, the earth with which of our four protagonists is it connected? with Marinette, she loves vegetation, flowers, this has to do with life, the flowering of it, but we also know how protective and loving she is, and we know that before entering into conflict in any battle she prefers to think and analyze.
The animal that stops is an ox, Who is an ox?
That's Ivan, he is the bearer of the ox that represents the concept of "action" which brings us to Adrien, why? To begin with, through IvĂĄn we are told about Adrien, first of all because he likes rock, who else likes rock? Jagged Stone, who also dresses like one, and who is the next of the 4 male protagonists? ?, Adrien, but also, notice that this chapter begins the ivan-mylene shipâŠthis couple starts it all, what is the first ship we see here?, ADRINETTE then, what is this scene telling us? that in the future there is going to be a fight between these two, it is predicting Adrien's villainy, Adrien is not fit to be a superhero, he is too impulsive and brute, and with that attitude he hurts others, with this we confirm what we said In the song of the series, it is not destiny that he is a superhero, and as we progress in the series, you will see how they are becoming clearer, since here we are only going at the beginning.
2 image tells us about chat noir and Felix, through Hercules.
(We know that it is HERCULES because of how he is dressed, this mural is a reference to the myth of Hercules in which he kills the Nemean lion, and tears off its skin, then he puts it on as clothing and a shield, but in this universe Hercules obtains the power through the miraculous of the lion)
We see how he is protecting the Greek women, so the first thing we have to do is notice that this bearer carries the miraculous of the lion, and the lion is a feline, just like the cat, but the difference is that the lions They are bigger and stronger, and we know that clearly Felix is stronger than Adrien because he was created for that, but also, lions are related to the sun and light, an element that we will see is associated with Felix, in fact. , lions live in Africa, precisely a desert place with a lot of sun, so this is also telling us about the counterpart of the ying, the yang, which is the active part, the light, the sun, the action⊠thus referring to chatnoir, for me it is clear, FĂLIX IS CHATNOIR
but also the fact that this miraculous is the lion's is confirmed in the Feast chapter, in which we are precisely told about Master Fu's past, how what happened to him happened to him, so this information takes us to fu and therefore to FĂ©lix, Fu used the peacock miraculous, LIKE FELIX, the sentiser that I believe is called feast, begins with"F" just like FĂ©lix, but also, in this chapter we see how the senti that is created, It is indigo blue, and the bearer of all of them has this color, aha Argos, that is, Felix, so here we are talking about Felix with the miraculous of the cat, who also, if you notice, carries a spear like the staff of chatnoir, we see how instead of stopping him, he is attacking unlike ladybug, demonstrating his yang energy, one thinks, the other attacks, one is active, the other passiveâŠetcâŠ
Now we look at who is trying to kill, this creature is a fusion of a lion, EAGLE OR BIRD AND A BEING CALLED MEDUSA, HE CARRIES WITH HIM A TRIDENT, LIKE THAT OF NEPTUNE. This could be telling us that in the future Felix is going to have to face his cousin, and the Tsurugi, it makes sense since Felix joins Ladybug, and Adrien will be a villain, so let's break this down
-LION-TIGER: referring to that feline part that the creature has, if he is partly feline, and Hercules carries a lion with him, this is a FELINE VS FELINE, cat against cat, it would be indicating to us that when Adrien becomes a villain , the cat's miraculous is going to be used for evil purposes, another option is that he akumatizes in Chatblanc and destroys everything and Felix has to stop him, so whatever this may be, it would be giving us the clue to something like that.
-EAGLE: this can refer to the fact that they are clearly telling us in the face, on the one hand, that Adrien is a sentiser, since the wings are related to the feathers and the feathers to the sentisers, but this can also indicate to us that in a future, Duusu's miraculous is going to fall into Adrien's hands, this could make him realize the truth, and want to have it for fear of disappearing just like Felix. SO WE WOULD HAVE a confrontation between Adrien as a peacock and Felix as a chatnoir.
-MEDUSA-if we look closely at the creature's face, we see that it has one similar to a jellyfish, I will tell you who it is since it is important
MEDUSA IS A WOMAN WITH HAIR MADE UP OF SNAKES WHOSE POWER IS TO TURN EVERYONE WHO LOOKS AT HER INTO STONE, PERSEUS DEFEATED HER USING HIS OWN REFLECTION.
This could be referring to Kagami, since she is called the ice queen, and the queen of that story could freeze people, that is, petrify them like a jellyfish, but also, guess what state the senti feast was in, aha HE WAS PETRIFIED, IN STONE!! and who frees him?, who wakes up this sentiser, Mayura, HOW DOES MAYURA'S NAME BEGIN?, with "M" as Marinette, this could be telling us that at some point in the series Kagami and Félix are going to face each other I don't know if Kagami will be akumatized or not, but the point is that this battle Felix will end up seriously injured, or frozen or petrified, his life will be at risk, but Marinette will save him, this clue will be confirmed. later in the series.
So basically Felix as chatnoir will have to face Kagami and Adrien, who are the villains.
"Two of this miraculous are more powerful than the rest"
WE ARE GOING TO GO IN PARTS
This is telling us how powerful our heroes are and therefore more leadership and responsibility, so in a group of many carriers, they COMMAND AND LEAD, THEY MAKE SURE THAT THINGS DO NOT GET OUT OF CONTROL, CONFIRMING US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOVE, ONLY THIS IS MORE FOCUSED NOT SO MUCH ON THE WEARER THEMSELVES, BUT ON THE HERO. They are a great team, they are strong when they work together, they are both a unit, yin and yang
LET'S SEE THE TWO IMAGES
1 image, HE TALKS CLEARLY ABOUT LADYBUG AND ARGOS AS A TEAM, how is that, well let's first notice that the young woman is clearly Ladybug because of the costume, but the detail is that she is riding a horse, and then I ask what she is wearing relate the horse, aha with MAX and what letter does MAX end with, like Félix, MAX WHEN HE TRANSFORMS IS CALLED PEGASUS, A FUSION OF BIRD WITH HORSE, who is the only male character who rides a horse and looks like a bird? , aha felix/Argos
so this can be interpreted as that in some way Felix is ââgoing to guide Ladybug, that is, he is going to be a great help, a true companion, what we already said in the song and the intro, this confirms it for us.
We see that he is trying to kill a dragon, and here the clue is clear, we have to look at what type of dragon that is, IT IS A EUROPEAN DRAGON, NOT CHINESE, OR JAPANESE, AND I EMPHASIZE THIS BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE THINK IT IS THE SAME TYPE AND NO, THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT PHYSICALLY
AND THIS IS WHERE THEY GIVE US THE CLUE, WHERE HAVE WE SEEN THIS TYPE OF DRAGON?
- Well we will see it in this season 1 in the akumatization of Jagged stones, When he becomes GUITAR VILLAIN RIDES ON A DRAGON OF THIS TYPE
- We see it in Crocoduel, where Captain Hardrock faces off, through Anarka they tell us about adult Marinette, so this last piece of information would confirm the confrontation.
-If you look at Jagged's name, it has 2 "G", Gabriel's initial is "G", 2 G, 2 GABRIEL, 2 MONARCHS, FATHER AND SON.
- we see him in Marinette's nightmare at the end of season 5 where it turns out to actually be Gabriel, so with THIS he is no longer saying that it means that we see him in the mural, This is Adrien villain, LADYBUG AND FELIX ARE GOING TO FIGHT AGAINST ADRIEN, Through Jagged Stone they tell us about Adrien, the doubt remains whether he is akumatized or is directly a villain with the butterfly miraculous, but I tell you, it is the 2nd option, since the last appearance of this type of dragon It is effectively how Gabriel and Gabriel is a monarch apart from the "2 G" track, so it is clear, MONARCH IS ADRIEN
2 image, (this one is more complicated so if you see something that I don't, leave it in the comments, the idea is that we all do it together)
Felix is ââgoing to save Marinette from her akumatization, how is that? Let me explain, to begin with we see that the woman is Japanese, and is wearing an eagle mask, and that she also has the powers of the same, she looks like a "human bird"
The only Japanese woman is Kagami, if we think of Kagami it automatically takes us to Felix.
We see that both eagle, argos and sparrow are "human birds"
But also, we see that his mask is very similar to that of Jess from New York when he transforms into an eagle, if we analyze the power of that miraculous, what does he use in his favor?, feathers, and who else uses feathers? , Argos, that is, FĂ©lix, if or if Argos or FĂ©lix is âârepresented through that woman.
Now we are going to look at the creature, it is a kind of winged monster, this can tell us that it will have the ability to fly when it is akumatized, but do you know where the biggest clue is? That this monster is marine, Aha, it comes out of the sea, but not only that we see how the whole sea is stirred up.
What name is connected with the sea and sea creatures?, MARINETTE, marinette descends the name "Marina" which descends in turn from the sea and ocean, the ocean is in turmoil, marinette is in turmoil, marinette's emotions are chaos and When there is chaos that occurs, it clearly becomes akumatized.
If we return again to the character of Jess as an eagle, what did she say to contain the villains who were out of control? He said "calm down", since when Techno was akumatized, he released all of their freedoms and they had New York destroyed with his powers, in the same way Argos is going to try to calm Marinette down so that she deakumatizes....Aguila contains the villains, through eagle they tell us about Argos, Argos is going to contain MARINETTE, to calm her down when she gets out of control, to me it is clear this mural is Argos trying to help akumatized Marinette, the mural is Japanese therefore it tells us that Kagami She is going to be behind this, she will be the one who causes Marinette's akumatization (we will see this later, the show gives clues to that, don't worry)
[now, another possibility is that the akumatized person is also Argos, and I say this because in one of the photos in the book we see, the former bearer of the eagle, with a hairstyle similar to Marinette (more specifically when she the mouse miraculous) but this doesn't make sense to me, since I don't see Felix akumatized, because he has proven to be resistant, however, Marinette, we have already seen how he has been on the verge of being akumatized twice, so for my Marinette has more possibilities.]
"Ladybug's earrings that possess the power of creation and Chatnoir's ring that possesses the power of destruction.
Here we have a clear presentation of the most important miraculouses and what they are for, clear and simple, the ladybug earrings create anything while the chatnoir ring destroys anything.
Now, one says, of course this is very obvious even if you see the chapters in disorder and you don't see this one, but the thing is not that, if they are presenting them to you, not only because of what they represent but because of their shape and color.
I have said in previous posts that they rely on this many times to give clues about what is going to happen, right? Here is a clear example since it is the beginning, so based on that we are going to analyze this entire sequence.
LET'S START WITH WHAT THEY REPRESENT.
To begin, we have to observe the base on which the miraculouses are located, there are several floors in the box and these are in the first and in the center of the entire box, which confirms not only that they are the most powerful. If not, they rule, THESE MIRACULOUS MOVE EVERYTHING, SINCE THEY MOVE BOTH LIFE AND DEATH, so when these bearers are chosen, they must fulfill this role and the responsibility it implies.
The basis on which they are represented are two concepts of Taoism, which are used to represent or refer to the two opposite and complementary, but interconnected, fundamental forces that are found in all things; and that this philosophy attributes to everything that exists.
yin and yang, life and death, darkness and light, etc. all of them are equal but different, they are independent but in need of each other, they complement each other and together form harmony, a perfect balance. Now knowing this, which is which? , clearly ladybug is yin, it is CREATION and chatnoir is yang, IT IS DESTRUCTION and with them their respective jewels, kwamis and POWERS AND EVERYTHING THEY REPRESENT.
Now let's focus on the SHAPE AND COLORS. -COLORS
Creation earrings: the colors that stand out on the base are black and red, these coincide with the colors of the earrings, which are also red and black, which tells us that, these are the colors of ladybug and also about Marinette and therefore we will see it in everything related to her, clothing, accessories, objects, etc...
Ring of Destruction: the colors of the base are white and gray and black, while unlike Ladybug's, the base does not completely match the jewel, it is black, gray and neon green, this tells us that These are the colors of Chatnoir, Felix and Adrien, that's why there is so much variety, unlike Ladybug, because there are 2 candidates, we will see these colors in everything related to them, clothing, accessories, objects, etc...
-SHAPES AND NUMEROLOGY
-the earrings: they are shaped like a circle with polka dot prints, everything is round, so the polka dot prints are representative of ladybug and marinette (which we can see in her clothes, whatever press she wears) we will see this print in everything related to her, clothes, accessories, objects etc...
Now if we look at the number of polka dots, there are a total of 10, 5 in each earring, giving us to understand that 5 is an important number, if we join the points together we obtain a square, a square has 4 sides, and 4 points, 4 is the number of Marinette and Ladybug, well remember that the 4 comes after the 3, and the 3 is Kagami, which represents the arts classroom, who is similar to Kagami and is Asian, Marinette, so when we see the 4 it also refers to her.
The numbers 10,5,4, 8 and the circles are from Ladybug and Marinette and therefore we will see them in various parts of the series, both in conversations, places, etc...
-The ring: okay, the ring is more complex, to begin with it is shaped like a circle whether you look at it from the side or from the front. but we are interested in the front. We see that it is a black circle with a cat's footprint in the center, neon green, this circle is surrounded by some kind of spikes, 4 to be more exact.
Let's start with the cat's footprint, if we add the number of figures, we have 5, just like the earrings, which have 5 polka dots, this on the one hand is telling us that the number 5 is as important as in the jewel next to it, They are the same, there is a coherence and a harmony...that is why those who wear the ring must have similar features to the one who wears said earrings...of course it is more complex because there are 2 candidates, both have similarities with Marinette but not entirely .
Now the footprint is divided into 2 parts, on one side 4 points at the top, and on the other the base that is more different from the ones above, the 4 represents Marinette and therefore in theory it should resettle Adrien, but also Felix because well As we have said, Adrien tells us about Felix, one was born from the other, so when this number is presented we will have to look for other elements that relate it to know which of the two it refers to, since it represents the two. 2.
If we look at the figure below, it looks like a triangle, triangles have 3 points and 3 sides, 3 and 3, 33 arts classroom, kagami, and who does Kagami connect with? with Felix so this number is representative of Felix, also notice that part of the footprint is a bit amorphous, asymmetrical? With whom does he connect the asymmetric figures?, ahaha with Felix, so we have that the triangles asymmetric figures can be connected with him and this will be seen in all the elements, objects, clothes, etc.,...
Now if we look at the peaks that are in the circle and put them together, what do we get? It's a square, just like Ladybug's earrings, but here we see spikes. What shape do the spikes have? Rhombuses, right? So then the simple and basic RHOMBUS AND square would be a representation of Felix, more than Adrien, remember one thing, Felix plays chess, which figures on the board form chess, squares. but everything would be to see the sequence in which this happens, many times they do that in the series.
Therefore the numbers 4 and 3 and 33 are from Felix Chatnoir and Adrien.
So once we have all this analyzed, this would be the scheme to play, and the first clues, through this pattern of colors and numbers, is what the series will start with. HERE YOU HAVE THE SCHEME, KEEP IT IN MIND BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO ALWAYS USE IT AS A REFERENCE AND THUS FIND OUT WHO THEY REFER TO AND WHAT THEY WANT TO TELL US.
(If not, I assure you that it is a mess, since although I have explained it with geometry, and such can be confusing) keep in mind that it WILL be updated AS WE PROGRESS IN THE ANALYZES, now we are at the beginning and we cannot add further.
"Whoever controls both jewels will obtain absolute power."
Well, we are shown this image that would be a representation of what total power will look like when you use both miraculouses, although it may seem like nothing, this image tells us a lot.
The clues are in the background of this mystical man, look what color he is, he is purple, the color of MONARCH, but he also has 6 peaks that come out of said circle, this for me is a very subtle clue that surely the person Whoever Adrien becomes a villain is Kagami, something is going to happen to her, we still don't know what, but something is going to happen to her, I feel like the same story of Gabriel with Emilie is going to be repeated, but this time with Adrien and Kagami .
Let's analyze it, purple is clearly Hawmoth's color but also representative of Adrien (according to the scheme) so it is confirming more of the same that he is going to be a villain, now let's notice that there are 6 peaks, right? If we divide 6 by 2 we have 3 and 3, that is, 33 and therefore the arts classroom, kagami, so the reason will be related to kagami.
Ok let's leave it here, since I want to take it and analyze it in order, in the next post we will see our protagonists and the villains of this wonderful story.
Thank you very much for your support and love, see you.
