Unfriendly reminder that while you're busy mourning the loss of your childs old gender, claiming you need to mourn the death of your son/daughter, there's a group of boys/girls/enbies scrambling to take your kid clothes shopping, snatching up the chance to take those "first" experiences from you forever. Your sons first fishing trip is gonna be with his best bros, your daughters first makeover is going to be with her girl friends, your kids first camping trip out as themselves is gonna be with the besties. Good luck getting those bonding experiences back. While you're busy trying to guilt-trip your kid with your weird manufactured parental trauma, there's a whole community ready to take your place as the better family.

Your loss, someone elses gain.

I feel so many people forget how genuinely isolating being trans is and going to college all at the same time. As a Transgender man (FTM) it's socially a cesspool. People singling me out, assholes finding out I'm trans and it spreading like wildfire. Despite the fact I've been medically transitioning for nearly a year now, come within 3 months. It doesn't make it any easier, let alone finding a job or housing. Dorms often won't get back to me or even answer my emails or calls after they find out I'm trans. Or the fact it's become ridiculous coming out at each new work place. Finding affordable housing and a job where I don't constantly feel the need to re-out myself because people can't stay civil is crushing. I'm in a near constant loop of me being trans impacting my every moment in life. Either from bullying, people spreading rumors; or even housing and jobs being unwilling to deal with my personal matters or working around my schedule as a full time college student.

And the world will crucify me for being the man I wish to be.

They see a child lost in the war of the world

They see a monster destroying the body of a beautiful little girl.

I'm not 7 anymore.

And I've always known what I am

I'm a man, forced to grow up in a life others made me live.

You can rip the skin from my body, and strip me of my bones

I think some of you forgot that autistic people sometimes act strange and say things that are poorly worded and speak with incorrect tone and misunderstand or miss social cues because they are autistic

Righteous Torrence 'Chevy' Hill was a 35 year old Black Trans Man who was murdered in Atlanta, Georgia last week.

He was the owner of an LGBTQ salon, meant to give Black/Queer folks a safe place to just be.

He was a father, a brother, a son, a friend.

Rest In Power and Rest peacefully Chevy

His story is not getting nearly enough attention.
