Okay so a production of Hamlet that ends with “Goodnight, sweet prince,” etc. and then Horatio looks up and sees the audience for the first time and is both shocked and furious, because his world is falling apart and you sat there and watched.
So I started working again today, and me and my coworker had to squeeze lemons which usually is a really un fun job but TODAY. We had the mostly lovely batch of lemons to work with. So we rated how smoothly they cut and how nice the insides of them looked for about an hour. An absolutely marvelous time I gotta say
my absolute favorite thing is when fanartists draw a character wearing black nail polish no matter the context. they're literally holding their dying friend in their arms covered in his blood but god forbid those emo boy nails aren't perfectly done up. i'm not even joking i actually love it.
so I’m filling out pediatrician intake forms for my newborn son and I get to the demographic section and I was already chuckling about putting a marital status…
yes hello my 3 day old son responds to only Old English, thank you
ok what if, thanks to giving birth to two quarter-force/eldritch skywalkers, padmé wound up as a force ghost (but only said eldritch skywalkers could see her)

The definition of a woman is an adult human female, right? Is that transphobic?
No offense to you, I just want to see if the trans movement can actually define the term woman since I haven't been able to and I think your blog could help. I'm new to this and I'm pretty curious. Again, absolutely no offense meant and I'm sorry if you take any.
When I was a kid, I thought that nobody actually wanted to be a girl. That it's just one of those unfortunate fates you get handed, like being born with no eyes or no legs or something. That it's something miserable, that's supposed to be miserable, and everyone else is just better at sucking up and enduring it than I am. That it's supposed to hurt and you're supposed to act like it doesn't, and that's just what everyone does.
Being born in mid-90s, I was vaguely aware that trans women exist, but I was like 13 when I discovered that it goes the other way around too. Like you can transition female-to-male. And my first thought was "how hasn't everyone done this?" I thought it had to be some very well-guarded secret, because otherwise how else would they stop every woman from flocking to these things. My first initial thought was that if women knew there was an option to just stop being women, the world would run out of women.
I don't understand why anyone would want to be a woman, but it gradually came to my understanding that some women do. They actually enjoy that. So, as far as I'm concerned, the definition of "woman" is anyone who wants to be one. I don't understand why anyone does, but it's not off my plate if someone does.
The definition of a woman is a person who wants to be a woman. That is none of my business for as long as they let me stray out of it.
The english language is so confusing that sometimes I'm tempted to go to the french side of the internet, settle down over there, and every time someone starts telling me shit about how bad my french is, I can let them know that the only reason I'm not fluent in french like I'm fluent in english is because the english won the colonialism. I would be a fluent francophone if it weren't for the french being the second best in their own game.
nothing funnier to me than when AI does math wrong. like I get why it happens, it's a language model that's treating the numbers you feed it as words rather than integers and then giving you an answer based on how those words typically appear in a block of text instead of actually performing a calculation. but the one thing computers are genuinely incredible at. you fucked up a perfectly good calculator is what you did, look at it it's got hallucinations
poor old granny scorpion-shoes. no one ever saw her death coming
One must never underestimate an opponent who does not fear death. An enemy who values your death more than their own life is unpredictable - you cannot assume that there is anything they wouldn't dare to do. Risk a blow to distract you, run right into your sword in order to get their own into you, tackle you off a cliff to throw you both into your deaths. An enemy that does not seek to survive is ruthless, they will think in ways so alien to you, that you cannot anticipate what they might do. The best defense you can have is to never make enemies like this.
The same fear and respect should also apply to clowns. They do not fear shame or mockery, they have no honour to lose by becoming laughingstock. A clown will not hesitate to look ridiculous, if tackling you makes you both look stupid. A clown does not fear losing their dignity for as long as they can take yours down with them.
Do not make enemies with clowns.
