“My mom said: ‘Val has something to say to you.’ I was sitting on the stairwell, crying. And he knew right away that I was pregnant. He didn’t yell. He didn’t say anything. He just started pacing. But I knew what he was thinking: I was eighteen years old, I was his only daughter, and he thought that having a child would ruin my life. When he finally stopped pacing, he told me: you can either get an abortion or leave the house. I knew then that I’d be entirely on my own. I started saving money from each paycheck to spend on clothing and supplies. But I had no idea what I was going to do when the baby came. My father wasn’t speaking to me. There was no eye contact. No nothing. Not that he’d ever been good at expressing his emotions. His mother had died when he was a baby. He’d had a tough life. From the outside like he didn’t care, but my mother told me that he was crying himself to sleep every night. After a few weeks he began to soften. He asked to see the sonogram. It wasn’t exactly a celebration, but at least he asked to see it. On the day of my C-section, dad spent that day drinking alone, which he rarely did. He was pretty drunk by the time I left for the hospital. He didn’t say a thing. My mom just looked at him and shook her head. But I was in the hospital for five days after my son was born, and every day my dad would visit. He’d bring us food. He’d hold my son for hours at a time. And when I came back home, there was a letter waiting for me on my bed. I’ve only read it twice in my life. Because it makes me cry too much. But he apologized for his behavior. And he said that we were going to be fine. My son is eight years old now. And whenever it’s Father’s Day at school, he brings home art for Papa. The two of them are inseparable. They’re always playing something. My son is always giving him hugs, and kisses, and saying ‘I love you.’ And Papa says it back. It’s the only time he ever says it to anyone. With my son he has no choice. It’s not in Papa’s nature to be affectionate. But it’s my son’s nature. He’s so open and natural with his emotions. He’ll give love for no reason at all, and his Papa has no choice but to accept it.”

ღ Astrology Notes ღ
These are my personal observations that I wrote based on people around me and many years of observing them. Happy Holidays! ✨🎄🥂
💕 People with Taurus Venus are naturally such great gift givers. Their taste is impeccable and refind. They’d rather go for an expensive gift of high quality (perfume, jewellery, spa certificate) as they have a very good sense of style. They love spoiling both themselves and their loved ones. 🥰
💕 People with Pisces Moon are very sensitive and compassionate to other people, their emotions and feelings. They naturally tend to be very self-sacrificing and put the comfort and wellbeing of others first, which can often be taken for granted. Nevertheless, people with Pisces Moon are very kind-hearted, talented, intuitive and generous beings. 😍
💕 People with Taurus in the 6th house value comfort so much. They love coming home to coziness and safety every day after work, make a cup of their favourite tea, lay down under the warm blanket and watch their favourite tv series. They love for their days to go as predictable and smooth as possible. They also hate to be in a rush and mostly prefer to laze around the house. ☺️
💕 It’s very important for women with Taurus in the 7th house/Taurus Descendant to find a sense of safety and reliability in their partner. They are traditional and want their partner to take very good care of them and provide for them materially, financially and emotionally. They also love to be spoiled with gifts, receive gorgeous bouquets of flowers, love and attention. 💞
💕 People with Scorpio Rising/Pluto in the 1st house go through many transformations since the beginning of their life. They grow wiser and stronger each time, however, many people can sense constant heaviness and toughness present in their energy. These people emanate the deepest sense of unmatchable power, inner strength and are never scared to face things and people head on. Others never dare to come at them or start arguments. 👁
💕 People with Leo on the 9th house cusp are usually very successful with their studies at universities. They are interested in studying foreign languages, international affairs or intercultural communication. They may also love studying languages, geography and world history at school. Travelling is their biggest passion and motivation. 🗺
💕 People with Aquarius on the 3rd house cusp/Uranus in the 3rd house have very unique and unusual thoughts. They naturally think in an innovative and smart way. They are ahead of their time, in a good way. Many people don’t understand them and find their ideas to be weird and unconventional, not “fitting in”. Natives with these placements don’t care though and learn to accept themselves and voice their opinions over time. 🧠
💕 Men with 10th house stellium tend to be very focused on their career and public life. Their reputation is extremely important to them, they may be afraid of public judgement or being seen in a negative light. In some cases, they may neglect their families (spouses and children) and put the majority of their time and focus only on their work and getting money.
💕 People with Virgo Mars are very good workers. They are dutiful, reliable and organised. They love to complete their tasks one by one in a calm and relaxed manner. Working under pressure is not their biggest strength. 👩🏻💻
💕 Women who have Leo Sun Aries Moon usually occupy the leading position at work and tend to be very harsh and demanding bosses. Their colleagues and employees may not feel at ease around them, some may even fear them. Nevertheless, women with these placements are strong and don’t lose their cool in the critical situations, they handle them with confidence and authority. 🔥
💕 People with Venus Conjunct Saturn want to have that “one and only” type of partner, relationship and marriage. They will never commit to the person they don’t trust or connect with just for the sake of being in a relationship. They’d rather wait for the real one that they can build something significant and long lasting with rather than waste their time going from one shallow relationship to another. Very beautiful and thoughtful placement. ❤️
💕 Women with Leo Venus love to be spoiled with expensive gifts, love, adoration and attention. They are very fashionable and love buying designer clothes and items. Moreover, they have a very good sense of self-love and self-respect, that’s why they demand and expect the same treatment from their partner. They will never settle for less than what they think they deserve. 💖
💕 It takes some time for people with Taurus Mercury to process new information. They usually need to reread and repeat certain topics until they’re able to fully grasp it. When they do, they’ll remember the information very well and for a long period of time. People with this placement may also enjoy soft jazz music playing in the background while they are studying. 🎷

accuracy varies depending on the house and aspects made to the placement.
• If you’ve ever tried a Lindor truffle chocolate you know they have a hard chocolate shell and the inside is filled with soft melted chocolate. That’s how I would describe venus in cancer. Hard exterior but a very soft inside.
• They’re cautious but so sweet. Their relationships are usually a slow start. Taking their time, melting into each other. Truly blending their best traits to become a home for each other.
• Before entering a relationship, cancer in venus observe the person of interest. They’ll appreciate the smaller details that require true effort and love. For example, bringing grocery store flowers may be a nice gesture but a cancer venus will swoon if you remembered their exact coffee order. A home made gift would also be deeply valued.
• Someone who feels secure and stable is the ideal. Cancer venus are sensitive, therefore someone reckless and distant would upset them deeply in the end. They are dependable, warm and cautious. They won’t take a last minute date reschedule lightly. It will be noted.
• Your partners are likely to be surprised by your memory and attention to the small things. It’s not about the grand gestures with cancer venus people. It’s about the everyday effort they put in to make the relationship feel like a safe place. If their partner overlooks all they do because they want the spontaneous gestures, it will leave the cancer venus feeling unappreciated and alone.
• Cancer venus often end up with dependent and needy partners. They may wonder why this is. They should look within and consider if they enjoy the safety that comes with having the upper hand. If your partner is dependent on you then they aren’t likely to leave. Here is the negative side, cancer venus want to protect themselves by having this upper hand. Yet, this results in them finding partners who are immature and in need of a parental figure.
Example: Khloe Kardashian has cancer venus. Notably, many of her marriages have failed because she often ends up with immature partners. She has said she has always deeply desired to build a family of her own. Yet, instead her partners end up needing her care and attention as if they were the child.
• The song “The co-dependent enabler” by Whitmer Thomas comes to mind when thinking of the negatives of cancer venus people. Specially the intro:
“If you’ve got cut marks, I will love you
If you’ve ever OD’d, Then you were made for me
If you don’t talk to your parents, I’ll be your parent”
It’s a dark comedy song but so deeply true for many people. Cancer venus wants safety and security so badly. But rather they can find themselves trying to fill the void in other people’s lives. These people don’t need you cancer venus, they need therapy!!! Together, you bring both of you down in the end.
It can also be the other way around, where cancer venus finds partners “leeching off their codependency”

How it feels when you have:
pluto-ascendant aspects, pluto in the 10th house, pluto in the 1st house, Scorpio rising, Scorpio moon, pluto- sun aspects, pluto-moon aspects, pluto-venus aspects, 8th house placements (especially moon, sun and Venus). 🥀
these individuals give off, “you can never kill me. I will never fall” energy. ⚔️
Attempts made against them to destroy or harm them ultimately fail. It will simply replenish them over time. They are ultimately compensated for their pain. They have an overwhelming need to climb up to the top, whether they’re covered in sweat or their hearts ache from the journey. even after being shunned, defamed and slandered by the public they will not crumble. similar to the way a snake sheds its skin, they become new over and over again. and it’s glorious to watch them. To change, some people require a catalyst.. someone to guide them through it. But these individuals don’t need anything at all. Off willpower alone they transform.🩸
Often times, they are not even aware of just how powerful they are believe it or not. They could stare at their peers in confusion, wondering, why are they looking at me like that? I had to get back up. I didn’t have a choice. And in many ways it can feel like they didn’t for them. They can't remember a period when they didn't experience some sort of upheaval in their lives. 🕷
There could have been weeks or even years where they lived in survival mode. After spending so much time in the shadows, they don't even understand how dazzling and beautiful they are until they emerge from them. When they walk into their full power and not only recognize it but also comprehend how to utilize it in the healthiest and most successful manner, get out of their way. Or you will be brought to your knees by their success. 🧿
