कबीर, जो धन पाय न धर्म करत, नाहीं सद् व्यौहार। सो प्रभु के चोर हैं, फिरते मारो मार।। भावार्थ:- जो धन परमात्मा ने मानव को दिया है, उसमें से जो दान नहीं करते और न अच्छा आचरण करते हैं, वे परमात्मा के चोर हैं जो माया जोड़ने की धुन में मारे-मारे फिरते हैं। संत गरीबदास जी ने भी कहा है कि:- जिन हर की चोरी करी और गए राम गुण भूल। ते विधना बागुल किए, रहे ऊर्ध मुख झूल।। यही प्रमाण गीता अध्याय 3 श्लोक 10 से 13 में कहा है कि जो धर्म-कर्म नहीं करते, जो परमात्मा द्वारा दिए धन से दान आदि धर्म कार्य नहीं करते, वे तो चोर हैं। वे तो अपना शरीर पोषण के लिए ही अन्न पकाते हैं। धर्म में नहीं लगाते, वे तो पाप ही खाते हैं।

कबीर, छठे मास गुरू दर्श करन ते, कबहु ना चुको हंस। गुरू दर्श अरू सत्संग, विचार सो उधरै जात है वंश।। कबीर, छठे मास ना करि सके, वर्ष में करो धाय। वर्ष में दर्श नहिं करे, सो भक्त साकिट ठहराय।। भावार्थ:- गुरू जी के दर्शन छठे महीने अवश्य करें। सत्संग और गुरू दर्शन से पूरा वंश मुक्त हो जाता है। यदि छठे मास दर्शन नहीं कर सकता तो वर्ष में बेसब्रा होकर यानि अति उत्साह के साथ दर्शन करने जाए। यदि एक वर्ष में गुरू दर्शन नहीं करता है तो वह शिष्य भक्तिहीन माना जाता है।
