I don't usually do portraits and many of my illustrations are composed of details too small to show their characters faces, so... I join #faceyourart with a few funny, happy meatball faces!

ES|| Como ya sabréis me encantan los animales y los perros no son una excepción. Hace unos años tuve el placer de convivir con una hermosa greyhound blanca como la nieve con topitos negros en las orejas y ahora son “tía” de un precioso galgo atigrado, así que tengo especial cariño a estas preciosas criaturas de nariz larga y ojitos tiernos. Hoy es el día del galgo porque, aunque estos perros necesitan nuestra ayuda todos los días del año, cada año por estas fechas en España, al finalizar la temporada de caza, después de probablemente años de crueldad, miedo y malos tratos, se abandonan, torturan y/o matan miles de galgos que ya no son considerados como útiles para cazar. Los animales no son propiedades para comprar, usar y tirar, ni herramientas para ganar dinero con el negocio que es la caza. Si estás pensando en compartir tu vida y tu amor con un peludo, adopta, no compres ni seas cómplice. 🌱

EN|| As you may already know I love animals, and dogs are no exception. Some years ago, I had the pleasure of sharing my home with a beautiful white greyhound with black spots in her ears, and now I’m an “aunt” to a gorgeous tabby galgo, so I’m especially fond of these precious creatures with long noses and sweet eyes. Today is world galgo day because, although galgos need our help all year long, every year around these days in Spain, when the hunting season ends, after probably years of cruelty, fear and mistreatments, thousands of galgos deemed no apt to continue hunting are abandoned, tortures and/or killed. Animals are not proprieties we can buy, use and throw away nor either are tools to gain money with the business that is hunting. If you are thinking of sharing your life and your love with an animal, adopt, do not buy or be an accomplice.🌱

Ahir, avui i sempre, per nosaltres, juntes podem, mai callades, sempre lluitant! Ni un pas enrere! Ens veiem als carrers!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

EN|| I hope I'm not being too boring with all this postcard thing but I'd love it if all of you who are in the area, could go to @gallerynucleus on September 3rd and see all my postcards live and why not, buy some of them. It really is a shame it’s so far from my country because I’d personally love to go, be there and see all my postcards and those of all the wonderful selected artists! Today I bring you the entire marine life postcard, with the color tests I’ve been doing during the process next to the postcard. I love seeing the colors I've been testing around the final piece! What do you think? Keep in mind that the postcard is only the painted area since I later cut them to 5”x7”, it’s a unique and original piece (and my favorite one). ES|| Espero no estar muy pesadita con esto de las postales pero me encantaría que, todos los que podáis, fuerais el 3 de septiembre a @gallerynucleus y las vierais en directo y porque no, me comprarais alguna de ellas. Realmente es una pena que sea tan lejos de mi país porque personalmente me encantaría ir y ver todas mis postales y las de todos los demás artistas maravillosos seleccionados! Hoy os traigo la postal de la vida marina entera, con las pruebas de color que he ido haciendo al lado de la postal durante el proceso. Me encanta ver los colores que he ido probando alrededor de la pieza final! Y a vosotros? Pensad que la postal solo es la parte pintada ya que posteriormente las recorté a 5”x7”, además es una pieza única y original (Y mi preferida).

ES || Este año ha sido bastante raro, un año de altos y bajos. A diferencia de otros años, pocas ilustraciones con muchos detalles y personajes, de hecho muchas piezas grandes y pequeñas se quedan en el tintero en diferentes partes del proceso, con un poco de suerte antes de que finalice el año podré acabar alguna. En cambio ha sido un año de retratos de animales, de experimentación con acuarelas, panpastels, lápices de colores, gouache y otras técnicas tradicionales, pero también con illustrator y procreate. A pesar de todo, una cosa continua siendo igual, mucha naturaleza por todos lados!🌿 EN || This year has been quite rare, a year of ups and downs. Unlike other years, I’ve done few illustrations with many details and characters, in fact many large and small pieces still remain in different parts of the process, hopefully before the end of the year I will be able to finish some of them. Instead it has been a year of animal portraits, experimentation with watercolors, panpastels, colored pencils, gouache and other traditional techniques, but also with illustrator and procreate. In spite of everything, one thing remains the same, a lot of nature everywhere!🌿

ENG || One of the things I miss the most these days is nature. Although I’ve my little plants on the balcony, they pale in comparison to the green fields full of flowers and bees. I’ve to admit that, every day, one of the moments that make me smile is when I see a neighbor's cat sharing a hobby with me: observe the birds while they eat medlars of a street’s tree. What a pity that this past week they have finished them all! Now I’ll only be able to read about them, draw and dream them ... ESP || Una de las cosas que más echo de menos estos días es la naturaleza. Aunque tengo mis plantitas en la terraza, estas palidecen en comparación con los campos verdes llenos de flores y abejas. Tengo que reconocer que, cada día ,uno de los momentos que me sacan una sonrisa es cuando veo al gato de unos vecinos compartiendo una afición conmigo: observar los pájaros que se comen los nísperos de un árbol de la calle. Que lástima que esta pasada semana se los hayan terminado absolutamente todos! Ahora solo me quedará leer sobre ellos, dibujarlos y soñarlos... CAT || Una de les coses que més trobo a faltar aquests dies és la natura. Tot i que tinc les meves plantetes a la terrassa, aquestes no són res en comparació amb els camps verds plens de flors i abelles. He de reconèixer que, cada dia, un dels moments que em treuen un somriure és quan veig el gat d'uns veïns compartint una afició amb mi: observar els ocells que es mengen les nespres d'un arbre del carrer. Quina llàstima que aquesta setmana passada se'ls hagin acabat absolutament tots! Ara només em queda llegir sobre ells, dibuixar-los i somiar-los ...
