Conflicted Ch 30🎀:
Maddy sat at the edge of the bed, contemplating her thoughts.
After Izzy had cornered Maddy, Axl came to see how everything was going and invited Maddy to come talk with him about something serious after he left her hanging downstairs. She politely declined and left to go in the empty media room where the tv was playing an ongoing loop of everything Guns N’ Roses.
But her eyes were fixated on the tall bassist and fiery redhead. Her chest tightening as she watched them.
Izzy turned, his dark hair catching the rays of the stage light, and it was almost as if his eyes found hers through the screen.
Even from the television, Maddy felt the pull of him, the magnetic force that had drawn her in since she came out here for the first time.
His quiet confidence. And the way he always seemed to know what was going on with her, whenever she couldn’t.
But then there was Axl.
Loud, brash and impossible to ignore.
Maddy dropped her gaze, her thoughts spiraling back to the moments that had brought her here, stuck between two boys who couldn’t be more different………
Flashback: 2 months ago
The first time Izzy kissed her, they were sitting in the room of her brothers apartment. It was a hot summer night, the air thick with the scent of honeysuckle. They’d spent hours talking about everything and nothing, their legs dangling over each others.
“You ever think about the future?” Izzy had asked, his voice soft, almost hesitant.
“Sometimes,” Maddy had replied, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “But it feels so far away, you know?”
Izzy had nodded, his gaze fixed on the ceiling, littered with glowing stars. Then he turned to her, his eyes searching hers. “I think about it a lot. And you’re always in it.”
Before she could respond, he leaned in, his lips brushing hers. It was tentative, sweet, and it made her heart race in a way nothing else ever had.
Maddy blinked, the memory fading as the present came rushing back. She glanced toward Izzy again, her heart aching. Things had been so simple back then. But now, everything was complicated.
Ever since Duff had found out, it had been nothing short of a rollercoaster of emotions tearing through her heart every single night.
Axl’s laugh broke through her thoughts, drawing her attention. He was leaning against the frame of the now opened door, his arms crossed, his signature smirk firmly in place.
And then there was Axl.., painfully arrogant, a whirlwind of ego wrapped in leather and chaos, his voice cutting through the air as sharply as his unapologetic self-importance.
But even in his world of glittering façades and hollow adoration, he couldn’t ignore her—the one who was real in a sea of fake smiles and fame-chasers. She saw through the noise, and for the first time, he found himself craving something deeper than the spotlight…..
Flashback to Duff’s apartment……..
It had been a chaotic party at Duff’s, the kind of party where the music was too loud and the air smelled like cheap beer and perfume. Maddy had been standing in the kitchen, nursing a soda, when Axl had appeared beside her.
“Not your scene, huh?” he’d said, leaning casually against the counter.
“Not really,” she’d admitted, glancing around the crowded room.
Axl had grinned, his green eyes sparkling with mischief. “Come on, then. Let’s get out of here.”
Before she could protest, he’d grabbed her hand, leading her out the back door and into the night. They’d ended up at the old train tracks, sitting on the hood of his car and talking until the sky turned pink with dawn.
“You’re not like other girls,” Axl had said, his voice low. “You’re… real.”
Maddy had laughed, shaking her head. “What does that even mean?”
“It means you don’t pretend to be someone you’re not,” he’d replied, his gaze intense. “And I like that about you.”
Now, as she sat on the worn down sofa, Maddy felt the weight of those memories pressing down on her. She cared about both of them, but in such different ways.
Izzy represented safety, the kind of love that felt like home. He was the boy who knew her favorite book, who remembered the little things that no one else did. Even when he would hurt her the little things he would do for her would make up for it.
But Axl… Axl was fire. He made her feel alive in a way that was both exhilarating and terrifying.
Maddy sat on the couch, legs curled beneath her, staring blankly at the muted television. The room was dim, lit only by the faint glow of the screen and the warm light of a nearby lamp. She wasn’t watching anything in particular; her mind was too cluttered with thoughts to focus. The weight of the situation bore down on her, pressing against her chest like an invisible hand.
The creak of the door broke her trance. She didn’t have to look up to know who it was. She felt his presence before she even saw him. Axl stood there, leaning casually against the doorframe, his leather jacket still on, as if he hadn’t decided whether he was staying or leaving. His eyes, sharp and unwavering, bore into her, but she refused to meet them.
“I know you see me,” he said, his voice cutting through the silence. “But you’re choosing to ignore me.” He stepped further into the room, his boots heavy against the wooden floor. “The problem won’t go away just because you’re pretending it doesn’t exist, Maddy.”
Still, she didn’t respond. Her fingers tightened slightly around the edge of the couch cushion, but her gaze remained fixed on the television.
Axl sighed, running a hand through his disheveled hair. “You’re making this harder than it has to be,” he muttered, his tone softer now, almost pleading.
Before she could muster a response, another figure appeared in the doorway. Izzy. His presence was less imposing, quieter, but no less intense. His dark eyes flicked between Maddy and Axl, and a faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
“You’re not helping, Axl,” Izzy said, stepping into the room. He crossed the space to Maddy’s side and crouched down in front of her, his tone gentle, almost tender. “Hey,” he murmured, reaching for her hand. “You don’t have to say anything. I know this is a lot, but I just want you to know how much I care about you. How much I love you.”
Maddy finally looked up, her eyes meeting Izzy’s. There was a softness there, a vulnerability that made her chest ache. He squeezed her hand lightly, as if grounding her in the moment.
Axl scoffed from across the room, his arms crossed over his chest. “That’s your pitch, Izzy? Sweet words and puppy-dog eyes? You think that’s enough?” He took a step closer, his voice growing sharper. “I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be. At least I own up to my mistakes. I don’t hide behind pretty words.”
Izzy didn’t flinch. He stayed focused on Maddy, his expression calm and resolute. “This isn’t about being a man, Axl. It’s about what she needs. And she doesn’t need someone who’s going to bulldoze their way through her life.”
Maddy inhaled deeply, finally finding her voice. “Stop,” she said, her tone firm but not unkind. She looked at Axl, her expression pained but resolute. “I can’t do this anymore. I care about you, Axl, but this… this isn’t right for me. I need to move on. We both do.”
Axl’s jaw tightened, his eyes flashing with a mix of frustration and hurt. He opened his mouth to argue but stopped himself. Instead, he nodded stiffly, his lips pressing into a thin line. Without another word, he turned and walked out, the door clicking shut behind him.
Maddy exhaled, her shoulders sagging with the release of tension. Izzy sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. “You okay?” he asked softly.
“I don’t know.” she croaked thinking about the consequences of her actions.
“Hey, don’t worry about him okay?” Izzy groaned.
“I can’t just not worry about him Izzy!” she sternly replied.
“Why not?” he harshly asked.
“Because I care for him a lot.” was the last thing she said before getting up and leaving out the door.
authors note: thinking about ending this at 35!!
Conflicted Chapter 26🎀:
Maddy P.O.V:
Izzy led me to a dark corner of the corridor, where he pulled me against the wall and began kissing me. We made out for a bit before he pulled away and explained the issue to me in between kisses, assuring me that Pamela meant nothing to him and that I meant everything to him.
I let it go, persuading myself that I was overthinking, seeing them together in the hallway earlier, and allowed him to sweet talk his way into a quick fuck before we returned to where the boys were.
Axl had gone outside for a smoke break while everyone else was relaxing in the dressing room, with a couple of groupies hanging around, primarily Slash.
Izzy went to sit on the couch in the corner, where no one else was and played his guitar lightly, while I sat next to Duff.
“How was the show?” he asked with a big grin.
“Great. I really enjoyed seeing you live.” I gleamed, even if I let my anger cloud some parts of the show.
“Hopefully you’ll be able to see us again soon.”
“What do you mean?… I-I thought maybe I could go back with you to L.A.?” I pestered, scooting closer to tug onto his arm.
“I don’t know…, I don’t feel comfortable after everything that’s happened.” he spoke, sneaking a glance at Izzy who was knocked out, with his sunglasses miraculously still on.
“I promise I’ll be good.” I squeaked, jumping up and down, hoping to convince him that I should come back to stay with him.
He sighed and looked around for someone to support his decision, but Slash was too fucked, and instead, laughing his ass off with the random groupie he allowed to entertain him for the night.
And Steven was clearly not the best pick for an important choice.
“Where’s Axl when you need him.” he huffed, leaning back onto the couch.
“I’m right here.” Axl’s voice boomed, strutting in confidently.
“I was being sarcastic…”
“Well? I heard my name, so I have a right for you to tell me now.” the redhead demanded towering in front of my brother with his arms crossed.
“Do you think Maddy should come back with us to L.A.?”
“Nope. I don’t think she is capable enough to control herself around Izzy.” he snorted.
“What do you mean?” I spat.
“I passed by catering to look for my white jacket because some jackass on our set had misplaced it after the show, and when I found it, I was heading back when I heard Izzy fucking Maddy behind that long hallway where there's a small corner," he spilled, acting as if it wasn't a big deal, whereas Duff had already started fuming as soon as he heard the word fuck.
“Maddy is this true?” he asked through flared nostrils.
“What is your deal!” I shouted at Axl, completely ignoring my brother, too stunned to comprehend.
Izzy woke up after hearing me yell at Axl and rushed towards the scene, slightly irritated because he had been startled out of his sleep.
“What’s wrong baby?” he asked, putting his arm around my waist to pull me from Axl.
“You.” Duff sneered, getting up from the couch and pushing on the lanky bassist's hollow chest, causing him to stagger back, loosing grip on my waist.
“What do I do. He’s the one who’s always causing shit.” Izzy retorted, pushing Duff back, referring to Axl, who stood there with a smug expression on his face as the scene unfolded in front of him.
“You're fucking my sister backstage and making her into some cheap groupie whore. What if someone saw?"
“No one saw us.”
“That doesn’t matter Iz. You’re being a bad influence on her and it’s showing.” my older brother argued, poking a finger into him.
“She’s not a fucking mute y’know. I’m sure she can speak for herself. Maybe ask her instead of bothering me.” he shouted, throwing his arms up in the air.
“Nope. That’s the end of it. You’re not coming back with me and you are breaking up with Izzy right now!” my brother commanded.
“You can’t do this..”
“Break up with him now or else he’s out of the band!” he concluded, making me go silent.
I shifted my gaze between my enraged brother and Izzy, who gave me a sympathetic look that made me roll my eyes.
Of course, he would choose the band over me.
I was just a naive little girl to believe that he would drop everything for me if given the chance.
“Okay..I agree.” I sighed shakily, tugging on my lower lip as my nostrils flared and tears welled up.
“It’s for your own good.” was all my brother said before storming out.
Izzy only stared at me in silence; he didn't have much to say, so I walked out of the room, unable to deal with the awkward quietness.
“Hey, wait up!”
“What do you want asshole?” I growled, ready to start fighting the man in front of me.
“Relax, I’m just looking out for you.” he smirked, catching a lock of my hair and tucking it behind my ear.
I swatted his hand away making him laugh before he put both hands on his hips and stared at me.
“What!”
“I guess I’ll just miss seeing your beautiful face around.” he playfully sighed.
“Are you a narcissist asshole or something? What is wrong with you.” I yelled making him roll his eyes.
“Sweetie. Your dear Izzy won’t even remember you after a few months. I’m only doing you a favor.”
“Who are you to tell me that?”
“I’ve known him the longest. That’s why you should trust me.” he urged.
“You’re just trying to get in my pants…..nice try.” I scoffed, as I walked away, he grabbed my waist and pushed me against the wall, just like Izzy had, earlier.
“I’m serious. I care about you.” he whispered, gazing at me with those soft green eyes of his that often changed colors depending on his mood.
“Get….off.” I muttered through gritted teeth, pushing him off me, making him pissed off again.
“Izzy isn’t the guy for you….he‘ll forget about you and he won’t look back.” he yelled.
I dashed outside the arena, looking for a pay phone so I could contact my mother to come pick me up because I was not in the mood to talk to Duff.
It felt like it was freezing outdoors, but I was too stubborn to go inside and let anyone see or speak with me. And It didn't matter anymore whether my mother caught me wearing this outfit that I had sneaked out in because it no longer meant anything to me.
(ik this chapter was short but anyways,, this was mainly supposed to be an izzy fic but,, im very much considering axl to be the main character ,,, thoughts? 🫣🫣🫶🏼🫶🏼🎀)
i’m so excited to go out in cute outfits this summer
Conflicted: Pt.3 🎀
Maddy P.O.V
When I woke up I found some leftover cereal in a bowl and a few bottles of beer scattered around the place.
I went around the kitchen island and found a note attached to the fridge.
“Went to rehearsal with Iz. Be back soon sis.” Duff wrote.
I rolled my eyes and crumbled up the paper throwing it in the trash.
“What am I supposed to do all by myself!” I groaned looking around the quiet and empty apartment space.
I planned on waking up early and spending some time with Duff but I knew how important the band was to him and I wasn’t going to be a pain in the ass about it.
I just missed my brother which is why I wanted to be around Duff.
“DUFF OPEN UP. I’VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL YOU ALL MORNING.” yelled a deep voice from outside.
I opened the door and was met with a fiery redhead who upon seeing my face softened his features and raised an eyebrow towards me.
Axl.
“Is Duff around?” he asked leaning an arm against the door frame and peeking around the apartment.
“I thought he was with you rehearsing? Izzy went with him too.” I told him.
“Those fuckers. I knew it.” he barked kicking his foot against the wall.
I jumped up a little at his sudden outburst and backed away from the door.
“Shit. Sorry Maddy I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“It’s just, we’ve been trying to work on a new song but instead of including me they go by themselves because apparently I have anger issues and spaz out when things don’t go my way.” he huffed
Anger issues? That’s for sure…
“That sucks.” I muttered staring down at my feet kicking the air softly.
“You probably don’t get it. I don’t know why I even told you.” he laughed giving me a look.
“Okay well Duff isn’t here so you can leave.” I huffed angrily.
“Could I still come in?” he asked giving me puppy eyes.
“Fine.” I said letting him through to Duff’s apartment.
“So what’s a girl like you doing in L.A?” he asked looking me up and down.
It felt like everyone in L.A dressed glam and metal except for me.
Duff and I were from a small town in Seattle and I didn’t really catch the whole punk vibe being from there but instead I had my own style.
I was a girly girl but not in a shove it in your face type of way.
I believe everyone has their own unique style and people shouldn’t be shamed for having a different style than others.
“I’m here to see Duff and spend some time with him.” I told him handing him a glass of water which he generously gulped down.
“Hm. Well since Duff isn’t here maybe I could show you around?” he asked with a smirk.
“I’m not sure if Duff will like that.”
“Oh come on. I’m not a bad guy. I won’t try to hit on you or anything but I can’t keep a promise.” he joked winking at me.
Duff P.O.V
Izzy and I had left to practice some lyrics and come up with a catchy riff for our next song without anyone else or Axl.
I didn’t really have anything against anyone but it was more peaceful when Izzy and I were the only ones recording in the studio.
The rest just brought chaos with them especially Axl.
Every-time a certain part of the song wouldn’t go his way or he wasn’t feeling in good shape to sing he would just throw a tantrum and end up leaving an unfinished song for us to finish.
Which is why I convinced Izzy to wake up early and help me finish this song for our next album.
“Can we go home now. I’m hungry.” Izzy whined pulling out a new pack of cigarettes and lighting one up.
“Yeah man. Let’s get out of here. I hope Maddy made something to eat.” I said hearing my stomach grumble as we both exited the recording studio and headed towards my car.
“Oh shit. I forgot my hat. Wait here.” Izzy said rushing back in the studio.
I groaned and started to make my way towards my car when I heard a deep laugh and a giggle accompanying it.
“Axl. We should get back now.” the familiar voice echoed.
“Got it!” Izzy yelled coming out of the studio fairly quickly with his hat in the air.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw two heads whip in our direction and that’s when I saw Axl and my little sister practically holding hands with how close they were.
“Axl Rose you motherfucker.” I yelled.
Maddy P.O.V
Axl and I were walking down the same street that they would go to record music often.
“Axl are you sure we won’t run into them here? We should get home now anyways.” I told him worried that Duff would show up any minute now.
“Nah. Don’t worry. I doubt they’ll see us.” Axl said shrugging me off and walking ahead.
“Are you sure?” I asked again catching up to him.
He leaned in close so that our hands were practically touching about to tell me something when I heard….Izzy?
“I got it!” Izzy yelled.
And when I turned around I saw my brother standing by his car shooting Axl the meanest look I’ve ever seen on his face.
Fuck.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing so close to my little sis.” he yelled shoving Axl causing him to tumble over a trash can.
“Stop it Duff. He was just showing me around the city since you decided to ditch me with Izzy.” I yelled at him while helping Axl up.
I could see Izzy giving me looks from behind Duff not saying a word.
“Relax Mckagan. All I was doing was showing her a bit of L.A.” Axl groaned rolling his eyes at my brother.
“Yeah right. And then afterwards you were gonna take her to your bed. Isn’t that right Axl?” Duff retorted grabbing me by the arm and moving me away from Axl while accidentally shoving me right in front of Izzy.
“Duff I think you’re overreacting. Besides I’m with Erin and she’s the only girl for me.” he told my brother as they got into another argument completely ignoring Izzy and I.
“S-sorry.” I mumbled staring at my Mary Jane’s which were accompanied by frilly white socks in contrast to the dark black rocker boots Izzy wore.
“It’s fine.” he murmured putting his cigarette to his mouth and blowing out away from me.
Axl was a handsome guy. But for some reason I never felt shy or awkward when I was around him or any of the others except for Izzy.
He had that effect on me where I went dumb and didn’t know how to speak properly.
“Cute outfit.” he said with his iconic smirk tracing his eyes over my pink mini skirt and white top.
“Thanks.” I blushed looking away from him and towards the other duo that were busy talking each other’s ears off.
“So how was your date with Axl?” he asked nudging me lightly on the shoulder.
“It wasnt a date. He was just showing me around!” I protested turning back around to give him a stern look.
“Axl doesn’t just take girls to see L.A.”
“That must mean you have something or look like something he wants.” he joked looking at me with an eyebrow raised.
He took another long drag from his cigarette before dropping it on the floor and stepping on it, coming close to my ear.
“If I were you I’d be more careful near Axl.”
“Especially when you wear tiny clothes like these.” he whispered bringing his hand out to play with the mini skirt I was wearing.
“Izzy.” I breathed out but before I could get another word out my brother stopped me.
“Come on Maddy. We’re going back to the apartment.” he said leading the way for all 3 of us to follow.
So so so soaked
Conflicted: Pt.9🎀
Maddy P.O.V
“Fuck you Izzy!” I screamed running back to the apartment and slamming the door.
Tears were streaming down my face like a river, and I couldn't even talk to Duff to make things better.
I felt like I had done the worst thing conceivable to my brother, and the guilt was eating away at me as I stared at the ceiling.
I had to get out of here and get some fresh air. But I only knew of one place.
Axl’s.
He showed it to me while giving me the tour of Los Angeles. I actually liked it a lot since he had a house all the way up in the hills. Duff had mentioned something about moving there soon but for now I was glad they didn’t live close.
"Fuck it." I thought as I changed into a cute denim skirt and slipped on my zip up jacket.
I grabbed my sneakers and left the apartment ushering a taxi as soon as I exited the apartment complex.
“Where to miss?” the taxi driver asked me.
“The hills.”
“You got it.” he nodded putting the car into drive and pulling out of the curb.
It wasn’t too far of a drive but a good 15 minutes from where Duff lived.
As soon as I got to his house I quickly ran to the door knocking on it softly.
I didn’t want him to think I was so desperate to come and see him or else that would be embarrassing. Especially since I really had nowhere else to go.
“Coming!” yelled a deep voice from inside.
The door opened abruptly and there was Axl standing before me shirtless and wearing a pair of boxers.
“Maddy?” he smirked.
“Is it o-okay if I stay the night with you? Duff and I got into an argument earlier.”
“Of course. Come in.” he said extending his arm out to usher me inside.
“What happened?”
“He found out about Izzy and I. And then Izzy had an argument with me and stormed off.” I sighed trying my best not to cry in front of Axl.
He sat me down on the couch and comforted me about Duff.
“He’ll come around. He’s your brother y’know he’s just looking out for you.” he stated throwing his arm around me for a tight hug.
“So what’s the deal between you and Iz?” he asked with an eyebrow raised.
“Nothing. I told him I loved him and he ran off telling me I was just a kid and that he didn’t feel the same way.”
Axl laughed before shaking his head.
“Typical. He runs away from true love every chance he gets.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean Izzy’s a fucking dumbass who doesn’t know something good if it hit him in the fucking face.” he snorted rolling his eyes.
Axl scooted closer towards me and looked me in my eyes brushing my hair off my face.
“He wouldn’t know how to treat someone as special as you.” he whispered cupping my cheek in his hand.
“Axl.” I breathed out suddenly realizing how close we were to each others face.
“I’ve wanted you ever since I saw you Maddy.”
Now is the moment. This is what you were waiting for.
Anything to make Izzy jealous right?
I leaned in, softly pressing my lips against Axl’s, signaling consent.
And he responded by grabbing onto the back of my hair and forcefully pressing his lips onto mine.
“Fuck.” he muttered grabbing me and pulling me on his lap.
I continued kissing him as best as I learned from Izzy which was different from Axl’s style.
Axl was more aggressive and loved tongue.
“Have you and Izzy fucked yet?” he asked briefly pulling away from my lips and attacking my neck instead.
“Uhm no.” I whimpered unable to concentrate as he moved my hips back and forth on his hardened member.
He flipped me back down so that he was hovering over me and pulled my skirt down leaving me in my pale pink panties.
“Cute.” he grinned pulling them down harshly and throwing them on the floor somewhere.
He started to peel off his boxers when I stopped him.
“W-wait. I’ve never done this before.”
He stared at me like I had said a funny joke and looked rather amused.
“Your kidding right?” he laughed.
“No.” I whispered looking up at him and hoping he didn’t act weirdly about it.
“Okay well it’ll hurt at first.” he casually shrugged not phased over the fact that I just told him I was a virgin.
I suddenly felt weird knowing he probably did this to a lot of girls and didn’t care about being their first.
He threw his boxers on the floor and unzipped my jacket letting my breasts fall out since I didn’t bother wearing a bra.
“Fuck those tits are hot.” he groaned before putting my leg over his shoulder and gliding his dick back and forth over the strings of wetness that were connecting my pussy to his dick.
“C-can you go slow please?” I mumbled, suddenly feeling way too nervous about the whole situation.
“Yes baby. I’ll go slow.” Axl said leaning forward to pull me into a kiss.
I placed both of my hands on either side of his face so I could kiss him throughout the whole process hoping it would make me feel better but most importantly go by faster.
He pulled away for a brief moment to look down at his dick going inside my pussy when I thought of Izzy and how I wanted him to be my first.
But it was too late because all of a sudden I felt the worse pain I’ve ever felt in my life and saw Axl’s dick wasn’t even halfway in.
“Ow ow!” I squealed crunching my face in pain.
“It’s gonna hurt at first but it’ll feel way better after you get used to it.” he cooed planting his lips back on mine to help distract me from the pain.
He eventually bottomed out and started moving a little while later.
“Shit your so fucking tight.”
He took his dick out of my pussy before slamming into it roughly and pounded it relentlessly.
“Axl s-slow down please. It hurts.” I mumbled as he left large purple hickeys on my neck and titties.
“I am but I can’t help that your pussy is just fucking sucking me in.” he said lusting over how wet and tight my pussy was.
“Mmpph that feels good.” I whined feeling his dick hit a spot inside my pussy that felt so good.
He kept fucking me roughly as I felt my pussy clench around him rather tightly, feeling like I was going to explode.
“Are you gonna cum baby?” Axl asked pulling out quickly to spit on my clit and rub it in with his dick before sliding back in with a squelching noise.
“Y-Yeah ’m gonna cum all over your dick.” I stuttered with lust ridden eyes.
“Fuck yeah talk dirty to me Maddy. Such a fucking good girl for Iz but a total slut on my cock.” he moaned feeling himself twitch inside me.
“Cum inside me.” I whimpered grabbing onto his hand as mine shook uncontrollably from my orgasm.
“Yeah baby you want my kids. Fuck stay still.” he grunted blowing his hot load inside of me, filling me up.
He rode out his orgasm before flopping down on the other side of the couch and grabbing a cigarette.
As I came down from my rush I quickly felt a huge sense of guilt wash through me.
“What’s wrong baby?” Axl asked noticing discomfort.
“Nothing. I need to go home now.” I meekly responded as I grabbed my clothes suddenly feeling as though they were too small and I was too exposed.
“You’re not going anywhere Maddy. It’s like 3 in the morning and I don’t want you going in a taxi alone at this time.” he argued grabbing my hand.
I shoved my hand away from his grasp and scooted closer to the end of the couch where he wasn’t.
“Okay I’ll sleep here then.” I harshly respond.
“Did I do something?” Axl asked wondering why I was acting so weird all of a sudden.
“No I just-….I’m tired is all.” I replied with a forced smile.
He nodded in response and left me alone as I soon fell deep into sleep forgetting about Duff and how I was going to explain to him why I was gone the whole night.
………
The next morning I woke up to a loud pounding on the door and a familiar voice.
I wasn’t exactly fully awake to comprehend who’s voice it was but went to open it anyways expecting it to be one of Axl’s house workers.
“Izzy?” I squinted rubbing my eyes.
“Maddy baby where did you go.” he frantically asked pushing my hair back to cup my cheeks accidentally revealing the dark purple bruises littered across my breast.
Izzy backed away from me for a bit analyzing my current state and my messed up clothing before gripping my wrist rather harshly, leaving a ring of redness around it.
“I fucking knew you would go to him after we argued.”
“Did you sleep with him?” he asked, nostrils flared as he felt sudden rage imagining Axl taking my virginity.
“Yes.” I replied bursting into tears.
“Fuck you.” he growled shoving past me to go find Axl.
“I can’t believe this.” a voice spoke from where Izzy was just standing.

Maddy P.O.V
"PLEASE!" I yelled tugging at my mother's cashmere scarf and pleading with her to let me go with my older brother Duff to L.A.
"Absolutely not young lady. There is no place for a young lady as yourself in a place like the Sunset Strip." she scoffed making a disgusted expression.
"Are you aware of what goes down on that god forsaken street full of egos driven by the devil." she sang going on and on about how dangerous they were and how the band KISS was all but a satanic cult.
"You're letting Duff go!" I whined on the brink of tears.
"That's because he is a grown man who is more than capable of taking care of himself rather than a 16 year old child as yourself."
"But mom-
"End of discussion Maddy. Enough!" my mother shouted slamming her hands on the island counter before trudging herself back into her room.
"URGHHH." I screamed running back up to my room and slamming the door shut.
I hate this.
I cannot believe my mother let Duff go by road to discover L.A and I have to be stuck in boring old Seattle.
1 year later (summer)
Don't ask me how I did it.
I single handedly convinced my mother to let me spend the summer in L.A with Duff since I was turning 17 soon.
Well not really single handedly because I might have made a few calls to Duff.
And a few days later I was staying with my brother in his lavishly renovated apartment he bought with his newfound fame as Duff Mckagan of Guns N' Roses.
"Duffy. This apartment is so rad. Mom would freak if she ever saw this." I exclaimed looking around the place which was covered in Duff's records from his band.
"Yeah I know." my brother grinned looking around at the larger than life living room.
"So when are your friends coming back to hang?" I asked suddenly more curious about the group of young men whom my brother considered band mates as well as best friends.
"Not sure."
"Izzy might come here to crash while he gets sorted out about his own place." he said while smoking a joint and washing it down with a Jack Daniel's.
"Mom would literally kill you if she ever saw what you and your friends do together." I sighed staring at my brothers hands which were occupied with my mothers worst enemy.
"Don't tell me what to do Maddy. You're like a child telling a grown adult what to do.”
“I'm four years older than you.. don't forget that."
"And don't act like such a prude when my friends are around. It fucking kills the mood."
"I love you but loosen up a bit." he smiled giving me a kiss on the forehead before retreating back to his room for the night.
I scoffed.
I was the complete opposite of my brother. Whereas he was the extrovert outgoing one.
And I was the quiet and reserved one.
But not on purpose. I just didn’t know how to make friends as easily as Duff did.
He always had the girls going crazy and he never had a problem fitting in with the cool crowd.
"Maddy can you get the door please. For gods sake." my brother yelled snapping me out of my thoughts.
"ALRIGHT." I yelled making a dash for the door not even bothering to think twice before opening it.
"Oh hey. Is your brother around?" Izzy asked.
Izzy
Izzy was one of my brothers band mates and also one of my biggest fucking crushes ever since I had met Guns N' Roses.
He had a natural charisma about him that made me very attracted to him.
"Duff. Izzy's here to see you." I said to my brother who was busy getting crossfaded in his room.
"Coming!" he slurred.
"You can come in." I smiled nervously.
"Nah it's okay. I can't stay for too long." he told me, briefly scanning over my half exposed pajama set.
“Oh s-sorry. I didn’t know Duff would have company.” I apologized pulling my shirt down to cover my wedgie in the front and back….
"I don't mind." he smirked taking another sneaky glance before nodding at Duff who finally arrived stumbling out of the room.
"Maddy you're barely wearing any clothes. Get inside." he grunted shoving me towards my room.
I happily obliged unable to face Izzy any longer with my attire or with my face which was definitely as red as a tomato by now.
I closed the door behind me and couldn't wipe the big dumb grin off my face.
Izzy was going to be the best part of this whole trip. I just knew it.
Conflicted Chapter 20🎀:
Maddy P.O.V :
I stormed out of the bathroom, heading directly for Axl.
He told everyone in the band, which was different than telling his girlfriend something so personal about me.
And Izzy’s ex…that was where I drew the line.
“Axl!" I yelled, watching him pause in the middle of a conversation with their manager and turn his attention to me, lifting an eyebrow at my grumpy attitude.
“You told your girlfriend that you’re in love with me?!?”
"What are you saying Maddy? And keep it down," he clinched his teeth as he led me into a secluded area away from the crowd.
“Angela told me that Erin knows that you're in love with me," supposedly." I scoffed, angered by his casual demeanor, knowing he was the one propagating our private secrets out to the general public.
"I never told Erin anything, Maddy. I swear. I'm not sure why she would say that," he murmured to himself, standing there with his hands on his hips, wondering what he had done to make Erin feel that way.
I stormed away, unaware that Erin was watching us, perplexed, given the fact that they claimed the two were good friends, but based on their recent chat, it seemed as though the two were a couple fighting only adding to her theory.
Which was that her boyfriend was in love with the bassist’s sister.
“Maddy where have you been." Duff asked, already on his fourth drink of the night, banging down on the bar counter for more.
“I've been gone. Not that you would care." I spat, irritated by his intoxicated conduct and the fact that he couldn't even hold a conversation with me, let alone Steven and Slash, and then there was Izzy, wait, there wasn't.
Where was Izzy?
"Hey have any of you seen Izzy?" I inquired with the three boys, who were completely wasted.
"I-z-zzz-y?..why are you t-two goin-g to fuck-k again?" Slash mumbled, smirking wildly at his choice of words,Duff barely noticed until he realized what he had said about his sister and Izzy.
“Shut the fuck up Slash!” the bassist shouted, immediately sobering up.
"Sweetie. Izzy is just over there." Steven pointed to a small area of the pub at a booth where Izzy was sitting with none other than Angela?
The way she giggled and slapped his chest made it seem like the two were having a funny conversation , and he smiled the entire time, not realizing how clear it was that she was flirting with him.
Angela instantly noticed me staring, which prompted Izzy to shift his head, but Angela caught it and kissed him forcefully, prompting him to back off and jump out of the seat.
"Maddy," he murmured to himself, noticing me observing the two and assuming the worst of what I saw.
He instantly raced over to me and explained what had happened, and I nodded, knowing he had done nothing wrong because I was actually standing there seeing Angela be a slut.
"Why does she like you so much? Why doesn't she go see Axl or Slash?" I wondered why she was constantly drawn to Izzy.
"She's been in love with me for a long time and I didn't feel the same way, so we became fuck buddies, but I got bored of her quickly, so I called it out, and she became heartbroken," he explained casually, as if it wasn't his first time leaving a female unhappy as a musician
"Oh." I responded instantly, feeling awful for the girl because I could easily be in the same situation.
It's possible that I'm already there without realizing it.
“I know what your thinking and no just drop it." He sighed, having dealt with enough, and approached his three wasted pals to participate in the fun.
I saw Axl emerge from the scene, an empty arm that no longer served Erin Everly, and he excitedly walked to his bandmates with a sneer on his face.
I had no choice but to join the guys because I had no other friends at all in the big city and I only knew them.
“The brat has joined us.” Axl scoffed, nonchalantly sipping a cool beer in direct contradiction to his drunken bandmates, notably Izzy.
He fell over the counter, almost dropping to the floor, when I caught him and moved him to rest his head on the counter.
“You'll be taking care of him like that for the rest of your life if you keep this relationship going," he whispered, taking little sips from his drink.
“What makes you say that?”
“He’s an addict and he’ll ruin your life too with his drugs.”
"Izzy's not an addict and I can take care of him perfectly fine." I naively defended, smoothing Izzy's hair away from his sweaty face.
“Yeah right.” he scoffed slipping off his stool to found someone to dance with.
"Izzy. Wake up, let's go home." I said to him, feeling his cheeks warm up to my touch and slumped over body.
"N-no just go without m-me." He murmured, fumbling over words and pushed me away with a rough hand.
“Baby, you don’t look so good. I think it’s better if I take you home.”
“Stop touching me!" he yelled, pushing me, causing me to trip on the liquid drink previously spilled on the floor and fall on the hard ground of the bar.
I shrieked, a crushing discomfort running through me and tears forming in my eyes, unable to hide the pain, looking up at Izzy to extend a hand, but he was so high on his drug of choice for the night that he didn't care.
"Maddy! "Are you ok?" I heard Axl call out to me, rushing up to pick me up.
“What happened!" Duff shouted and hurried over to me after seeing Axl kneeling down on the floor.
"I'm fine." I said, tears streaming down my cheeks, as I returned my gaze to Izzy, who was firmly placed on the counter, unconcerned about how he had treated me.
"That bastard. I'll fucking kill you for hurting my baby sister," he roared, grabbing Izzy's shirt and dragging him up to confront his towering frame.
“If you kill me, you'll hurt your sister even more," he replied, grinning at me.
“Fuck you motherfucker.” the bassist growled punching his band mate and knocking him down on his drunken state.
“Duff!” I squealed as I crouched down next to Izzy and his newly slit brow, which was streaming with blood.
"Leave him alone, Maddy. Let's go. Axl said this as he dragged me away from Izzy and picked me up in his arms.
"You just want to fuck her." Izzy mumbled under his breath, amused at Axl's concern for the girl he allegedly dislikes.
The Indiana native may not have heard because he did not intervene, but if he had realized his long-time friend was making such a statement about the sweet girl, he would have knocked him out for good.
“That is it! I've seen enough today. You are not to see Izzy again, and I forbid you from going out with him or any other fucking musician from now on!" Duff yelled, and I could only nod, unable to find the correct words to explain what Izzy had just done.
We all got into Duff's car, Axl and I in the back, as Duff drove us to Axl's apartment.
I felt Axl interlace his fingers with mine, holding my hand in his while I slipped into sleep on his shoulder.
What I didn’t realize was that when I would wake up the next morning, Duff would have my things packed and a flight back to Seattle set out for me.
