Hopefully after you realise who you actually are, you’ll give yourself everything you want. And actually become one of manhattan’s finest elite. I’m getting bored of just calling you my upper east siders.
So here’s a 411 on the “void state”. Everything you need to know. Well since this post is all about you, pure consciousness, I guess we can call it your biography instead.

゚What the void state is, and what it’s not ࿐
What’s the void state? Or should I say who’s the void state? The big question. But you probably already know the answer, listen closely, we don’t want the lower east siders to hear.
Psst! The void state is you. Pure consciousness. The purely conscious being that lies beyond this physical vessel. It’s just you in your purest form. I thought you were two-faced, but turns out you have none. You’re faceless and formless. And by “you”, I mean pure consciousness. Not this physical body. Pardon me, i’m not a carpenter but i’d like to keep this post short n sweet 💋

So what is the void state not? The void state is NOT a meditative state. (hence why you do not need to meditate for the void). The void state is NOT body asleep mind awake (hence why you don’t need to feel drowsy to “enter” the void). All it is, is YOU. Bound by no physical limitations.
You may ask “what’s it like being in the void state?” or “how do I know when i’m in the void state?” When you’re “in” the void state, you are completely detached from the 3D, completely devoid of your physical senses, therefore you cannot see, hear, feel, taste or smell anything. It may be pitch black and you may feel a sense of peace, no intrusive thoughts exist in the void state, because in that moment you are just purely conscious. That’s it. When you do end up in the void state, and you want to confirm that you are, you can change the colour of it, or add decorations. For example, if you find yourself how I described, you can affirm “my void state is pink”, and if you are in the void state, it’ll turn pink instantly etc. But trust me, you’ll know when you’re in the void state. It’s literally you. You do not need any outside proof.
The void state is just you. Scrap the term “the void state”. It’s called the “I AM” state. Because it is just YOU. If you read the post I linked previously, you’ll know that I don’t mean this physical body, I mean YOU!
゚Being scared of the void state is for lower east siders ࿐
I heard some upper east siders are “scared” of the void state. Talk about self hatred…
Being scared of the void state is to be scared of yourself. Most people feel scared because they think they’re entering another dimension, or entering some extraterrestrial astral plane. That is NOT the case. When you understand that the “void state” is just you, there’s nothing to be scared of. It’s just a state of pure consciousness (the real you).
The funny thing is, when you’re “in” the void state, you feel at peace. You’ll love the feeling. And if you don’t like the “darkness”, you can decorate “your void” to your liking.
゚How manifesting desires “in” the void state works࿐
It’s very simple. You enter the void state, or wake up in it, whatever you prefer. Then you can affirm/visualise, intend etc that you have your desires. Then you can affirm “I am now exiting the void state” or whatever you prefer (and no, you can’t get “stuck”), then when you exit the void state, everything you manifested will have already been materialised instantly! Say you manifest your dream life in the void state, as soon as you exit the void state, you’ll have your dream life fully materialised in the 3D, instantly. And no, it’s not a “placebo effect”. Keep in mind that your subconscious knows exactly what you want. So you don’t have to affirm/visualise etc for each desire. Just having a blanket affirmation like “I have all my desires” is more than enough. Intrusive thoughts don’t exist in the void state, they cannot manifest. Everything will turn out perfectly, I promise you that.
You manifest instantly in the void state because you are completely detached from the limitations of the 3D. There is simply just no concept of waiting or struggle. There is nothing to tell you otherwise. You can fully recreate your reality from there. The world is your oyster. You’re God. And lastly, anything and I mean ANYTHING is possible in the void state. Want a billion dollars? you can have it. Want to be the most famous celebrity overnight? You can. Want your desired appearance from head to toe instantly? You can. Want to grow wings and fly? You can. The answer is always yes. If you can imagine it, you can manifest it.
゚What happens to “reality” when you manifest? ࿐
A lot of people wonder if they “shift” realities when they manifest, especially after manifesting “drastic” changes in the void state. But reality shifting and manifestation are different. Reality shifting involves leaving this physical plane, and going to another that you’ve created. Manifesting doesn’t. So what happens to your reality when you manifest? First of all, you have to understand what “reality” is.
You shift realities every second. With everything that you do, you “shift” realities. Reality just means life. For example, when you put on a new shirt, you shift to a reality where you’re wearing that new shirt. When you wake up tomorrow, you’d have “shifted” to a reality where it’s *insert tomorrow’s date (??/??/????)*. It does not mean that you are going to another “reality”. That’s all that reality shifting means in terms of manifestation. Manifesting is natural and it’s something that you’ll do everyday for the rest of your life whether consciously or unconsciously.
“It’s like changing a shirt. When you put on a new shirt, you “jump” into a reality where you are wearing that new shirt. It’s not what you think it is. There are infinite realities (infinite possibilities) and they’re all as real as each other. You’re just aware of this specific one. Doesn’t make it more real than any other reality though. That’s like saying you’re scared of putting on a new shirt/outfit because you’d be “jumping” into a reality where you’re wearing a different outfit. That means that you’d be scared in everything you do, because your reality “shifts” with everything that you do. Reality is not something you jump into. It’s just something that naturally changes every second (literally), it’s just part of existing on this physical plane, it’s nothing to be scared of. The reason I put “shift” and “jump” into brackets is because that implies entering a new physical plane, that’s not the case (unless you want to) but that’s not how it naturally happens. All “shift” means in terms of the law of assumption is “change”. It’s just to alter your reality to your liking.” - gossip girl
So when you manifest your dream life, you manifest your desires into what you’d call “this current reality”. You do not have to go anywhere else if you do not want to. Even if you’re changing your life to a full 360. There are no limits. This is why we are able to witness other people’s success stories e.g. celebrities & tumblr.
LASTLY, “How do you enter the void state?” ASSUME ASSUME ASSUME THAT YOU CAN!!! YES IT’S THAT SIMPLE!! YOU DON’T NEED THE LATEST METHOD!! JUST ASSUME THAT YOU ALWAYS ENTER/WAKE UP IN THE VOID STATE AWARE WHENEVER YOU WANT TO!!! IT IS YOU!!!

The hypnagogic state : how to reach it.
The hypnagogic state is a state where we naturally go into before sleeping, a sweet spot moment before sleeping and still being awake, a state where it is so powerful to be able to shift, get in the void, or basically do anything.
Now it requires NOTHING, it only requires one small thing that might sound tricky.
Staying awake long enough for it to come by on it's own, and actually on average it takes 10-5 mins from each person to enter it aware.
Lay flat on your back (not needed, but many results come from laying on the back)
Do. Not. Care, just go with what you usually do to fall asleep, but one thing? You're not falling asleep, you're watching your body fall asleep, that sweet spot where your body is about to fall asleep? That's hypnagogia
Actually don't move, it may give your mind signs you're still not sleeping, now just lay there and try not to sleep while focusing on the blackness behind your eyelids.
You will start seeing flashing images or swirly things or even just flashing lights and imagery, this is the hypnagogia and you managed to reach it in just 10 mins of pretending to be asleep (acc it takes me 4)
Bam, that's the sweet spot, now affirm slowly for the void, or just sense your surroundings for shifting or maybe you can try your shifting method here! This state cannot argue back, you'll be immediately shifting in no time, and slipping in the void is so easy from it.
So really the whole steps is just "lay down, don't move, watch your eyelids, color seen? Hypnagogia reached, method or void procedure done, bam."
I managed to find a post on Reddit on how to keep your body awake, you can try 2 or 3 of them to keep yourself entertained, FULL CREDITS TO THE ONE WHO POSTED IT ON REDDIT (calaie_iscoolio):
"1. Looking in the darkness behind your eyelids
Basically what it says, when you close your eyes, just focus on the darkness until hypnagogic imagery begins to happen i.e. colors, shapes, literally anything that will show. When images begin to show up, do not interact or acknowledge what you are seeing, you can look at it, but don't try to control it and just let the images flow until you feel that the state is induced enough to where it won't disappear because you are "too" awake/aware.
2. "Forearm Up" Method
Another technique that basically helps with people who tend to fall asleep to quickly, basically lay down on your back like usual, lift your hand up in the air where your elbow is resting on your mattress, keep it there and as it slowly falls down that's where you'll begin to fall asleep, it'll drop and basically awake you back up.
I had also seen a shifter mention that they prefer to lay on their stomach and lifting their foot up in the air and basically do the same thing. This technique basically just wakes you back up.
3. Thomas Edison Method
Very similar to the "Forearm Up" Method, basically what Edison had done was he had held a steel ball in his hand, and when he began to fall asleep, the ball will drop and alert Edison awake, another technique to help with people to struggle to stay awake.
4. Imagine Constant Motion
Basically imagining something whether that be an animal or an object constantly moving like a horse galloping, a dogs tail wagging side to side, etc. (Pretty simple, for people who find it much easier to visualize).
5. Tire your body through out the day
During the day, you could do any tasks that would just tire your body out that leads up to your attempt to induce the state, it'll make it much easier for you to get into the state and induce it since your body is already tired enough to relax.
6. Repeating "hypnagogia"
This will mean you have you just repeat the words "hypnagogia" to yourself till you get tired enough and then hypnagogic imagery will eventually appear.
7. Counting
Basically just like regular shifting methods, you could focus on counting up to how much you want to until you begin to get the hypnagogic hallucinations, to keep yourself from falling asleep you could give yourself simple math questions just so it's enough to focus to answer it.
8. Imagining Randomness
Imagine literally anything that isn't related at all, i.e. horse, roof, apple, pen, desk, etc. Visualize and filter through random objects or animals that have no correlation and that will induce the hypnagogic imagery, randomness is key.
9. Focus on breathing
Similar to any shifting method, basically focusing on your breaths is another technique to induce the state. Literally just anything to keep your awareness occupied rather than letting your mind just shut down to go to sleep.
10. Sounds
Listening to anything in your environment, whether that be things happening outside, if it's raining listen to the rain, or if you've got headphones on listen to the music and focus that, keep your focus on the music so you don't fall asleep.
11. "Playing" a song in your head
Not necessarily listening to the song, but imagining the song playing in your head, whether that be your favorite song, if you know how it sounds like, imagine it playing and once you've entered the state, it will naturally play and you'll end up actually hearing the song.
12. Heartbeat
Basically just focus on your heartbeat. Listen to the amount of beats.
These are all the various of techniques you could use, you don't have to stick to one and can basicaally try them out, see which one you feel like works for you and go from there. A tip is also you could pick like 4 or 5 out of these 12 and just filter through the techniques if you can't just stick to one since you get uninterested quickly. (I get bored easily, do I normally do 8, 9, 7 and 4 just so I don't lose interest.)"

Hey girly girl, how to shift? Like, I can't reach the void state, so that's out. Methods don't work for me, cause I get frustrated and roll over to sleep. Manifesting IDK IT TAKES AGES... and affirming there my thoughts drift off.. and rn I am unmotivated to shift when I try, but I rlly do WANT to go home. ☹️
how to shift : your all-in-one guide . . . (the only things you have to know…ever !)
i , what even is shifting? shifting is the art of moving your consciousness from one reality to another. it’s not magic, it’s not luck, it’s just focus and belief wrapped in a little cosmic bow. think of it like choosing which movie to watch. you’re the one holding the remote.
ii , forget the void for a sec : the void state is not the only way, nor is it the end-all-be-all. think of it like one specific door in a house with infinite entrances. if the void’s being dramatic, just walk around it. shifting doesn’t need that kind of fanfare. you can shift in any state: sleepy, frustrated, even mid-yawn.
iii , methods, shmethods : methods are tools, not rules. if you’re trying one and it’s not vibing with you, ditch it! think of methods as cute little recipes; if you don’t like what you’re cooking, toss in your own spices. and guess what? you don’t even need a method. your intention is the main character here, and everything else is just the supporting cast.
iv , manifesting doesn’t have to take ages : manifesting isn’t about sitting there like a monk waiting for enlightenment. it’s like planting seeds: you plant them, you water them, and then you trust the sun to do its thing. start small. affirm gently. even a passing thought like, “ugh, i’m so over this reality” is a mini-manifestation in itself. you’re building the vibe brick by brick.
v , affirmations are your sneaky little sidekick : if your thoughts drift, let them. you’re not running a military bootcamp in your brain. affirmations work even when you’re distracted because they’re sneaky like that. say them casually, like you’re humming a song. “i’m already there” or “it’s happening now.” keep it simple and breezy.
vi , unmotivation nation… we’ve all been there : listen, shifting doesn’t demand motivation; it demands surrender. the kind of surrender that’s like, “ok, universe, you win. take me where i need to go.” you’re allowed to rest in the in-between. you’re allowed to feel blah. you’re allowed to be human and divine at the same time.
vii , you already want it? guess what. it’s yours : wanting to go home is half the battle won. the desire is your proof. it’s like your reality is already calling you, whispering your name through the veil. stop thinking of it as trying and start thinking of it as returning. you don’t try to breathe, do you? you just breathe. shifting is the same.
꒰ basic steps, simplified :
◞ set your intention : decide where you’re going and get crystal clear about it. script it out if that helps.
◞ prepare your space : make your environment cozy. this isn’t mandatory, but it helps set the mood.
◞ choose a method or freehand it : julia method, raven method, bla bla bla method, affirming till you fall asleep, visualising, just vibing, it’s all valid.
◞ focus or daydream : picture your dr, feel it, or simply say, “i’m already home.”
◞ surrender : let go of the pressure. relax into the process. let the universe work its magic.

◞ romanticise the process : make shifting feel dreamy, not stressful. light a candle, sip some tea, wear your favourite socks. vibe check your environment.
◞ detach from the outcome : this isn’t a college exam; you don’t need an a+ in shifting. let the energy flow.
◞ sleepy shifting is underrated : drifting off with your dr in mind? chef’s kiss.
◞ turn frustration into power : that “uuuugh why isn’t it working” energy? channel it into something fierce. you’re the god of your reality. act like it.
that's it. that's literally it. you don't need ANYTHING else except your mind. bam.
remember, you’re not chasing shifting. you’re already holding hands with it, swaying gently in the wind like a little cosmic dance. shifting isn’t something you achieve; it’s something you allow. you’re the prophet of your own life, the controller of the sands. so go forth, messiah in training, and shift like the world is your oyster. because it is.
A lot of you guys still see the physical world ("3d" or whatever) as the final result, but do you guys really get what manifestation is? Do you guys REALLY get how manifestation Works?
You want something » you start manifest it » affirm/visualize or whatever » you start thinking as the version of you that have it » you enter fully in that state and you have it
Physical world/"3d"= YOUR own thoughts, literally your thoughts.
You create a dominant thought » it shows up in your reality
There's no Magic! There's no process either! Your "physical world" shows you your own thoughts, do you have a process to think anything? Do you need a 30 days method challenge to think something? I dont think so. That "process thing" you created is probably because it seems "too good to be true" but it is something you do since your birth! There's no Magic in manifestation, it is as normal as breathing tbh.

deferred occupancy [+ rant]
as per neville, this is the common fault of man and i agree. sadly to say, i have done the same.
what does deferred occupancy mean?
you are not occupying the state right now. you are waiting until you tap into the void. you are waiting until the 3d conforms. you are waiting until someone gives it to you. but you are not occupying it right now.
you have in mind to occupy it later or you will experience the state when it comes in the 3d, not realising that the state must be fulfilled first in imagination then it will materialise in the 3d.
do not keep creating, do not keep constructing, do not think of your desire as something that you are not one with already. you must occupy NOW. you must accept you have it NOW. daydream knowing what you are dreaming is true. script knowing what you are scripting is true right NOW.
you are not manifesting it. you have already manifested it.
continuously remind yourself that you are the only creator of your reality so that you do not become an inmate in this sense-world. break free from this illusion. you are the creator. you can control everything. you are a God in a human body. you are GOD. you are a beautiful divine spiritual being who is limitless. Humans were made in the likeness of God therefore we can do whatever God can do. There is no separation between God and me. None at all. We are one.
Stop viewing your desires as something not in your possession yet. Stop scripting as if you don't have it yet. You have it right now. The 4D comes first then the 3D conforms. The change in the 4D must be made. The change in self must be made.
It is fruitless to not occupy your state right now. You will keep daydreaming ABOUT your desires and not FROM. You will keep viewing the desires as something outside out of you, something that is not unified with you. This will lead you to keep running in circles, blaming the 3D for not conforming when it is you who has not changed self yet and deferred occupancy of your desired state.
Slam the door on any doubts or worries you have. I don't care, slam it. Ignore it. Oh what if my desires don't manifest? Who the fuck is the 3d to tell YOU, a GOD, what is a fact or not? Tell the doubts to go fuck themselves. Or gently scold them whatever floats your boat. Fact is, do not pay attention or you will keep running in circles. Just let go and believe. Just let go and try without controlling the outcome on a conscious level by worrying about time etc.. it will materialise soon, it has no choice but to!
Be still and know you are God {@lotusmi hehe}. It is done. Why? Because you said so. It is done because you fucking said so.
Remember who you are. You have the power to change anything in your life, simply by thinking from the desire; simply by becoming the desire. The external reality is extremely malleable and our creative mind is the Potter. We mold the external reality through our assumptions. If you assume something, it has no choice but to materialise. If you have FAITH, you will have it in the 3d. Even if you don't, you will still have it, especially if you work on your self concept.
Stop waiting. STOP WAITING! YOU HAVE IT NOW. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WAIT FOR. Your unwillingness to accept you have it now already is what is delaying the externalisation of your manifestations. Because creation is finished! It's done!
You lost 100 euros and you're stressed? No youre not, 100 euros is like 1 cent to you. Tell your subconscious that you're not stressed because you're a millionaire and handle the situation as you would normally because the state is not lost! The outer man does not manifest, the inner man does; the real self does! The subcon only hears what you tell it, so tell it wonderful things. Accept you have these things. Do not wait. Do not wait PLEASE.
You have everything you need right now. All the knowledge needed, you have it already. It is done. It is done because you said it's done. And who are you to say it's done? You are God, you are the ONLY creator / molder of your reality, outside forces don't exist. Even if you believe outside forces exist, they have NO influence in your reality; NONE AT ALL. So, how can you say you don't have it when you are the creator?
Occupy the state now. It is done. Stop waiting and think from it. You already are it. YOU HAVE IT RIGHT NOW. DO NOT BE A SLAVE TO THE 3D SENSES. YOU HAVE IT RIGHT NOW. YOU ARE IN CONTROL. YOU CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE. THERE IS NONE THAT CAN CONTROL YOUR EXPERIENCE EXCEPT YOU!!!!
THE 4D CREATES THE 3D. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE 3D. IT WILL AND MUST CHANGE IF YOU OCCUPY THE STATE EVEN BY JUST AFFIRMING. JUST HAVE IT RIGHT NOW. HAVE IT. YOU ALREADY DO. IT'S DONE
YOURE SCARED? NO YOURE NOT. WHY WOULD YOU BE SCARED? WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME YOU WILL FEEL SCARED WHEN THE DESIRES MANIFEST? ASSUME THAT YOU FEEL ONLY THE BEST EMOTIONS AND ONLY GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO YOU.

How to persist when 3D isn't showing and your brain is screaming???
Okay, ik how hard it feels when nothing is showing up....like, you’re out here affirming, visualizing, being that version of yourself and doing all the things, and life’s just looking at you like "nah, not yet." And it’s frustrating as hell. But listen, this is exactly when you have to double down.
See, manifestation isn’t about what’s in front of you..it’s about what’s going on inside you. Your 3D reality? Old news. Everything you’re seeing right now is just a delayed reflection of past thoughts and beliefs.
That’s why it feels like nothing’s changing. But the second you start thinking differently, reality has no choice but to shift. It’s literally law.
"But what if it’s been months and I still see nothing?"
That’s the thing..persisting doesn’t mean waiting. It means you’re so locked into your end state that you refuse to accept anything else.
The key? Stop checking. Stop looking around for proof. Stop thinking "but when?" and just be the version of you who already has it.
If you had it right now, would you be stressing? Nah. You’d be chilling. So chill.
When you start thinking "ugh, this isn’t working?" Flip that thought instantly. Be delusional if you have to.
If your mind starts saying "this is impossible," correct it like, wtf brain? This had already happened are you dumb or what????
If your brain says then why tf I can't see it, tell it cause you don't have eyes that's why you can't see it, I have eyes and I am literally seeing it cause this has already happened dumbass. :|
You have to be stubborn. Treat anything that contradicts it like background noise...irrelevant, meaningless, not your problem.
It’s not about fighting reality, it’s only about deciding that you have it.
Yes, this is a new account, I just made this. I don't care if people question the authenticity of my post, my experience as a shifter, or whatever I'm about to say.
I don't know how to use Tumblr, nor do I know how to make my post reach people who need it, nor would I be a narcissist and say "you're lucky if you found my post!" I don't mind if this reaches an audience or not, I'm glad to get everything off my chest.
I have shifted realities, more times than I can count on my fingers, and that is for a very specific reason, which I'll explain later.
I'm writing this because I'm about to permashift, and no, I won't hear out any antishifters or people who don't like permashifting in general, I don't care about your opinion so don't waste my time.
Before I start, I'd like to say one thing:
So? Why did I mention this?
Because I had been lurking around shifting communities and I realised everyone feels like this, a very (mentally) painful feeling where the lack of shifts starts acting as your biggest enemy, and the phrase:
"Shifting needs practice!"
Sounds like poison when it comes from an experienced shifter.
Though, is the phrase actually true?
Shifting does not need practice!!
Here's why:
(BTW, I will explain my "method", no matter if I have time or not. Also, I don't call this reality "Current Reality", instead I call it Void reality, so don't get confused.)
The "practice" you're doing is only affecting your void reality (taking time out of your day, making you constantly think you're in your learning phase, so it doesn't exactly lead to your desired reality, does it?)
Of course, if you view it as a skill, it will in some way act like that, it'll become a skill for you, and you can never succeed on your first, second, third, hundredth try, because in your brain you have registered the fact that shifting is this grand, universal task, and that it is very difficult (because its common sense that you practice difficult things to get good at them)
Practice is a very humane and earthly act, if people have succeeded doing just practice, then good for then, they're right in their own way, but it didn't work for me, and in my opinion it's the worst way to view shifting, and often times it is demotivating, and you'll mess up you're entire journey.
Shifting is not a skill, shifting is a universal law.
I'll become more clear as I explain my journey:
I found shifting from a random YouTube video 3 years ago. I might have only said cool and moved along.
A year later something traumatic happened in my life, which shook me so badly I needed an escape.
First of all, I chose astral projecting, but I realised I was too much of a coward to do so.
Then I came towards shifting, first DR was very typical, it was Hogwarts.
Having no knowledge whatsoever in the topics of spirituality, meditation, I went straight to methods, because they were like guides for me, I was very inexperienced, of course, and looked at other people and what they were doing for guidance.
Alice in wonderland method didn't do much, raven method was too uncomfortable (side note, all this raven method does is make you too focused on your void reality, cmon, in your DR are you laying down like a starfish?) And I was having terrible trouble with my intrusive thoughts (which made the floor disappear from under my feet, made the stairs for the stairs method too short to climb or straight up made them dissappear as well)
I didn't have any luck that year, no mini shifts, no lucid dreams, or sleep paralysis. And my DRs never remained constant. They always changed on a daily basis.
I was big on methods, I couldn't realize they never worked for me.
Although, this year of failure led me to finally figure out where I belonged.
A DR made out of scratch, which I spend much effort in putting the pieces of it together.
The DR, which was called "Home reality" really made me feel settled in my journey.
LOA, and the consciousness theory were the leading factors which made me shift.
And don't worry, it isn't what you're tired of being told, I didn't just apply any orthodox definition of LOA and succeeded.
It was a particularly stressful day, I really missed my home.
I was studying at my college (I still am, but...) and I was dreading giving a chemistry test, I did not prepare. In my mind, one thing was constantly looping in my head.
The scenario of the chemistry teacher coming in, and taking the test, and the next day I get it handed back with a big fat zero.
But then I stopped and wondered, having already known about the consciousness theory, so according to it:
"I am constantly letting this thought run in my mind, and constantly letting this reality dictate what happens next."
Basically, I realized what was about to happen next was indirectly in my control, but with my line of thinking, I was letting this reality control it directly.
I stopped, like actually stopped thinking.
And with a blank mind I thought.
"I won't have to take any test today."
And went around telling my classmates this with a confident tone.
The teacher came in, said we'll instead do some practicals in lab.
So the test got cancelled.
Going home, I got excited, i felt powerful.
I decided to apply this to shifting.
Before shifting, I took a nap during the day, (if you're tired your body insists on sleeping, so your mind will get hazy and you will start acting lazy towards your goal)
And after living how I normally would, before bedtime, I listened to some songs, and look at a Pinterest board which reminded me of my home reality.
When I laid down on the bed to start shifting, I first got comfy (for me, if I feel sleepy for some reason, I laid on my back, I can't fall asleep in that position, but if I think ill stay awake until I reach a "detached state" then I sleep on my side, it's comfortable)
I obviously wasn't checking the time, but I spent about 10 minutes getting relaxed, all I do to relax is:
a) look at the blackness (closed eyes, looks like starry skies) and try to believe I'm looking at the milky way.
b) think about my home reality, just faces of my loved ones, and nostalgia inducing images.
c) Affirm, but don't focus entirely on affirming, usually in the back of my mind I'm repeating "I have shifted to my home reality" "I have shifted my senses to my home reality" "I have stopped sensing the void reality" "I am smelling, tasting, feeling, hearing and seeing my home reality" no other fancy affirmations required. (Now that I think about it, you need to affirm NOW because this method has two phases, one where you are shifting, and one where you have shifted, and you are in the 3D, where you are occupying your DR self, their thoughts, and memories, and popular method usually only have one phase, either you are shifting, or have shifted. So my point is if you affirm later and you'll be affirming when you're supposed to be in your DR, and obviously, your DR self won't be spouting out affirmations about shifting to a random reality for no reason.)
During this time, you'll feel tingly all over. It's a good sign.
And you'll feel a certain detachment, like you aren't exactly here, you have no idea what position you're lying in, and where your feet are. (Please, for the love of God do not start counting your feet or get freaked out that you can't feel your leg, you'll come back to the void reality.)
So you can start the next phase.
To prepare for the next and last phase, you can do this to get ready, or don't (First read the third phase)
This is all about connection to your DR.
Think about memories from your DR, focus on the faces of your loved ones, the way you act, talk, your mannerisms in your DR, or you can simply say affirmations like these one:
My name is ___.
I work as a ___.
My age is ___.
Don't try to imagine vividly or anything, lightly touch upon the basic details of your DR, the construction and foundation of any reality and the person, who has existed there for their entire life.
(That's you!)
Take a sudden, abrupt stop from your stream of thoughts. (Yes intrusive thoughts will still pop up but don't give any importance to them) when you're in a blank state of mind, not longer than 30 seconds, you need to build up to the last step of your shifting method, and journey.
a) start imagining hearing the voices of your loved ones or just any voice, calling your DR name, your nicknames, with different tones. (For example, i heard my name in an angry tone from my father when he was scolding me, I heard my name followed by a laughter when my S/O teased me.)
OK, for me, I started feeling intense, groundshaking symptoms at this moment. Sudden flashing of lights, extreme feeling of floating, and ofcourse, feeling tingliness so much that it felt like pins and needle on my entire body. (I did ignore the symptoms)
b) plan the rest of your day in your DR, which you will be spending.
AGAIN, PLEASE DON'T SAY IT LIKE THIS.
❌️When I reach my DR ❌️ I will have to go to that eye specialist for that appointment.
Instead: (and the more you personalize it, the better)
Ughhh, I have to go to that appointment- this day will suck.
(Don't mind my example, that was the only thing I could think of at the moment)
c) in this reality, you are constantly thinking of something, your thoughts are definitely what constructs this reality, and your current thoughts are affecting your subconscious. (By this point, your subconscious is grounded in your DR, so don't worry about that bastard.)
Now, you're going to start thinking, thoughts which are going on in your DR self's mind, start with one sentence, with which you'll be able to start consciously thinking like your DR self.
And think in the style, tone, and mood of your DR self, and keep the thoughts strictly related to your DR.
So for me, I started feeling weird while I was thinking.
And I remember I thought this:
"Ugh, I don't want eggs for breakfast."
(I'm not saying this is the key to shifting, at this point, I had covered various topics, including, weather, my upcoming work assignment, and praised my S/O for a good 5 minutes.)
And I started panting, like suddenly I was trying to catch my breath, the room felt bright, so I opened my eyes, and well, I was in my home reality :)
I was delirious for a few second, my S/O was looking at me worriedly, but surprisingly, it didn't even take me a minute to adjust, it felt all so natural and I wasn't scared.
I didn't even feel emotional, at all, and didn't hug my S/O with tears in my eyes, I straight up asked to be served breakfast, incase anyone was wondering.
Although i have much to say, I'm tired of writing, but I'm more than willing to answer each and every one of your questions, although I only have 7 hours left till I permashift, I'll remain mostly active till then.
And no, I'm not rereading this to fix my grammar, so just ask if anything confused you.

First of all, I really like your posts but I feel like I am too dumb for some of your answers. They are so poetic and I... Am not. So I don't understand some of them, could you explain how to shift and deal with 3D for a dumb dumb person?
okay first of all you’re not dumb !!!! you just have different ways of processing information. that’s normal. my brain just works like a victorian poet who’s been trapped in a storm for three days. but i got you.
shifting is just moving your awareness. you do it all the time without realising. daydreaming? shifting. getting lost in a book? shifting. waking up and forgetting where you are for a second? shifting. the only difference is now you’re doing it on purpose.
how to shift.
i , decide where you want to go. be clear. what’s the vibe? what do you want to experience?
ii , relax. you don’t have to be in a perfect position. just get comfortable.
iii , focus on your dr. think about it, feel it, imagine it however works best for you. some people visualise, some just know it’s real. both work.
iv , detach from 3d. this is the hardest part but also the easiest. stop worrying about whether it’s working. if you’re thinking “but i’m still here,” that’s just a thought, not proof. shifting isn’t about forcing, it’s about letting go.
v , allow it to happen. you don’t have to do anything special. your consciousness will move when you stop gripping onto 3d so hard.
dealing with the 3d while waiting.
stop acting like 3d is the enemy. it’s not a prison, it’s just one layer of reality.
shifting is easy when you stop needing it. desperation makes it harder.
do things that make you feel good in 3d. be a little delusional. let yourself enjoy things.
stop overcomplicating it. if you tell yourself shifting is impossible, your brain will believe you. if you tell yourself it’s natural, your brain will believe that too.

when I stopped doubting that I was the only bitch who couldn’t do it😭😭😭
I think it’s quite insecure to think that i’m the only person in the world who can’t shift again bc of doubts (I say again bc I shifted the very first time I tried then freaked myself out and stopped shifting for 6 months, then shifted a 2nd time, freaked myself out AGAIN and had to redo my whole process THEN got into a shifting cult where my energy was being leeched from by my fuckass ex and… well you get it)
anywho I just stopped doubting that it could only be me and started being like well why not me? when I try to shift and don’t get to my dr (ie this entire week) it’s not really in my head that it won’t happen, rather i’m deciding what I need to do to quicken the process.
i’m very impatient. i’m sure the entirety of shiftblr/shifttok knows that.
but one thing I refuse to do anymore is doubt I can’t do it. it doesn’t match what i’ve set up for myself here because HERE I get everything and do everything I want. this has always been the case. so why would shifting not conform to that?

i'm fine with sharing how i shift, because i think it is valuable to hear how shifting feels for others. but i do feel that no matter how much i say not to people will think they have to do it the exact way i do and then they'll shift. this... is not the case (probably.) we're entirely different people, and what works for me might not work for you! and shifting might "feel" totally different to others.
my method (down below the cut) is currently is a lot simpler than it used to be. when i was initially relearning how to shift, it was a process, to say the least. i also happened to be getting heavily into meditation already at the time. i was meditating for about 8 hours a day (broken up, not in a row.) you do not need to do this, and i wasn't just doing it for reality shifting reasons, but for healing and growth. i used meditation to process trauma, somatic experiencing, and exploring states of awareness and understanding the universe around me and the dimensions its made of. as a bonus, i do think learning to meditate helped me in my personal journey with reality shifting, but that's probably because meditation is something that works for me. i try to mention lots of methods that require 0 meditation because it's not the only way! this is all to say, "the shimmer method" if we can call that is highly specific to me personally.
how i shift:
first, i find a comfortable place and time when i feel like shifting. sitting, laying down, it doesn't really matter. i personally prefer to have a fair amount of "free time" ahead of me, because i like to shift back here to the moment i left and have time before i have to do anything else. like i don't wanna shift back here and have to go straight to work. or worse, shift back while at work.
next, i take three deep breaths. it sounds cheesy almost, but it helps me regulate my breathing and the overall tension in my body. i only need three to do this, but i used to do more.
then i do a simple body scan. this helps me detach my awareness from my 3D body. i move from toe to head, focusing my awareness on each area, and acknowledging whatever sensation is there without the need to change it. i move my awareness to the next section, letting go of the previous. i used to do this process much more slowly, but now id say it takes me a handful of minutes. now, here's the important bit, how does it feel? sometimes after this i feel completely "numb" and lose all awareness of my body. sometimes i begin to experience hypnogogic symptoms right away. and sometimes i dont. sometimes i feel "normal" after. it doesn't matter. my body can feel whatever it's feeling. i gently direct my awareness, and i move on.
next, i focus on my stream of thoughts. personally, i have adhd and intrusive thoughts, and a very active internal monologue. it's honestly so so rare for my brain to be quiet. i was literally surprised to find out that some people don't have an absolute constant stream of thoughts. but it's completely okay, because my brain doesn't need to silent. my thoughts can continue, just like feet probably still feel my socks. my thoughts don't get to demand my awareness. at this stage, i do like to visualize, but for a "visualization", it's not very visual. its more idea of it. if i have any really intense or bothersome thoughts or worries, i direct them into a mental box or current, or toss them off a mental cliff. work tomorrow? tax forms? argument? embarrassing moment of the day? i direct them into the box. i don't need to be aware of those thoughts right now, but they are perfectly ok to continue being. i can get them back out later. sometimes it helps to count, or imagine something, to give my awareness something to focus on. sometimes i don't need to. how does it feel? my brain continues doing all that thinking. it's a thinking machine, that's what it does, and that's okay. i'm shifting my awareness into a different 3D brain anyways. sometimes i get hypnogogic symptoms, sometimes i don't. sometimes i can still "hear" the mental chatter that im not focusing on, sometimes i can't.
now, i used to feel more comfortable shifting from the state of pure awareness, so id drop into that. but i generally don't feel the need to when im reality shifting now, so i don't bother. sometimes i experience other meditative states, sometimes i experience hypnogogic symptoms, sometimes none at all. i think because i've really practiced with everything and i have experience shifting from any of these states of awareness, it is no longer as consequential for me which destabilized state of awareness i'm in. like, initially, hypnogogic symptoms were really overwhelming for me, and even scary. i couldn't shift from hypnogogia because id panic and ground myself to my CR 3D, ending the attempt just to stop the hypnogogia. now, im more comfortable with it and i can unfocus my awareness from it like any other sensation.
i start to direct my awareness towards my DR, from whatever state of awareness i'm in (usually some form of destabilized awareness). how does it feel? i start visualizing or thinking about my DR, and the first change is that at some point, i start thinking as my DR self. this comes more naturally to me after i've already shifted somewhere before, but it can happen for a "new" DR as well. there's not a distinct moment, and i usually wouldn't notice it happened until looking back on it. this is important i think, as i feel some people expect their 3D to change first, like they're expecting to start feeling their DR with their CR body or something, which (for me) has never been the case. my awareness shifts first. i relax my awareness, and slip into my DR. if feels kind of like waking up, even if im already awake there. it's not a long dramatic journey of traveling, but sometimes there is a sense of.... "falling" is the best way to describe it, though to be clear it is not a physical sensation. it's not like i'm falling through space, it's like if your awareness could sink in a metaphorical or poetic sense.
and then i'm there. so, in a simplified way: i relax, i visualize, i repeat. my awareness shifts first, and then im in my DR 3D.
