I can’t get over the fact that Mike literally gave Will an arm punch? Is that not classic ‘I’m attracted to you so I’m going to avoid friendly affection in favour of a more ‘masculine’ and detached gesture because the idea of touching you makes me feel weird and nervous and I need to make it clear this is a Platonic interaction’?

If it was simply about weirdness from them not speaking, they could’ve just made it a stiff and awkward hug. But no, we get Mike specifically going out of his way to make it as non-intimate as possible.
