when i was 12 my school binder had a pencil sketch of Festus the dragon from the cover of The Lost Hero and actually i didn't trace it! it was freehanded kind of poorly but i loved it <3 i spent ages sketching it out and trying to get it to look just right because those books were my favorite thing ever at the time i made no attempt to draw the trio riding the dragon tho. that was too much for me lol
