I've seen countless posts on tiktok, Instagram and all that about partners peeling pomegranates for their s/o and saying that "you're worth the mess". Today while peeling a pomegranate I've realised that I've been doing this for years for myself. I'm worth the mess, I'm worth the dirty hands and the hurt wrists, because inside are the seeds that I love so much. I'm worth the mess, because it's for me, I do it for myself, even if I'd do it for so many other people. I make others happy, because I make myself happy. Just throwing that out there for anyone who needs to hear this. You're worth the mess, create the mess yourself, enjoy it and just let yourself be you.
