Who needs pillows when you have friends?

I miss camping ngl. Especially those big summer camps where everything was planned out for you. The chaos that can be caused while fitting inside a schedule is amazing tbh.

Another redraw! This is how I keep track of all of my ashigos because looking for this one drawing to see how many I have is easier than looking for all of their individual references sheets.

Another ashigo redraw! (Redrawn on left original on right) I’m not really happy with how it turned out but I’m not unhappy either. Maybe in another 5 years I’ll redraw it again and be happier/hj.

If I had to gues why it would probably be that the river isn’t bending enough and it’s too straight and doesn’t quite line up with the rest of the perspective.

it has come to my attention i never posted the full hollywillow image?? (hyper specific space hollywood au of which there is only one other design [by bones]). i actually went hard on the lighting n such.,., not the bg tho as you can tell lmao.

anyways this is literally the best piece of art i have of him and it aint even canon accurate.

selkie posting hours. updated my selkie lore and came up with this design (don’t remember what the old lore was exactly but now the typical form for a selkie is a seal or this freak and a proper human disguise is much more difficult)

colored one is like.,. the first or second sketch so its a bit rough. but anyway ive been trying to improve my humanoid designs and integrate human and nonhuman features better and i like how these guys look. if i could fuck up the body proportions even more it would be fire.

feat. me trying to figure out how willow, my one confirmed selkie character would look in this form (very difficult his features do not mesh at all). also feat a radon fairy glenn drawing.

i like how his face looks in this hence why im posting it even tho its.,., questionable whether its done.

various scribbles n wips ! first one is the jester god for my world, second my cowboy (in modern au) in halloween outfit! third is.,., uhhh au to complicated to explain.,., space.,., hollywood., hes still selkie inspired (this is willow he’s always selkie coded), the last one is based on an assignment i have.

i have like no proper sketches of this bc it’s difficult to draw but ive been figuring out selkies in my fantasy world. So far ive decided that they turn their skin into a cocoon within which they transform between human/seal. And going with the classic wearing their skin as a coat or clothing item bc its fun and fresh.

Solitary species, women notably larger than men (based on leopard seals). Each individual has their own unique pattern (like a fingerprint) that stays on their fur when they change into a human form. Their size as a seal is also the exact same weight and whatnot as when in human form, so it transfers over evenly.

Also some cultural shit where selkies are considered good luck and fisherman/sailors avoid messing with selkies to avoid bad luck + getting killed, but others who aren’t familiar with them occasionally try and steal their furs (very strong and protective material that also happens to be pretty).

They mingle among humans in order to steal fish from fishermen usually. Fishermen let it slide bc selkies are useful and can find fish schools easily + avoid bad weather.
