I thinkm its very funny that every one's agrees that pinky is emuna and its always rarity or flutershy to get infected

Mlp infeccted au got me like

Canonically all of the Mane 6 should be able to survive in an regular stereotypical Infected AU if we are talking about Season 4 onwards.

Twilight is an Alicorn, if Celestia and Luna are useless, they could just give Twilight their Alicorn Magic...and HAVE YOU SEEN TWILIGHT AT SEASON 4 FINALE, I believe a huge chunk of Super Saiyan Twilight's power comes from the two sisters.

Rarity is a big Clean freak and will not hesitate to start blasting anything dirty looking

Pinkie pie has Pinkie Sense

Applejack is PHYSICAL DPS

Rainbow Dash can break the sound barrier with no ill side effects and PHYSICAL SUB DPS

Fluttershy is a Disney Princess and married to a being of Pure Chaos that can alter reality

Spike is a dragon.

MLP Infection AU - True Bad Ending:

Almost everypony dies, leaving only some of Mane 6, and some other random ponies as the only ones surviving, to which they then have to rebuild society.

One of the survivors, out of everypony, is Zephyr Breeze

I bet I can ruin* the Infection AU by making it wholesome.

Like, keep the body horror and shit, but have it so no one dies. Have it be so the Infection only distorts the body, and makes it look horrifying, just so everyone would be too scared to try and treat it. Plus it would deliberately put the infected in question into this extreme panic, where they're convinced that they've become uncontrollable, flesh-eating monsters.

One of the main characters, however, finds out that the Infection doesn't turn ponies into flesh-eating monsters, and it just makes it seem like that to scare other ponies away.

So, then, the infected get proven to be safe, and they all get cured.

So, kinda like this drawing I made, where it was originally supposed to be a two-panel joke emphasizing an ironic reaction to a horrifying sight, before I kept building upon it, making it wholesome (not mlp-related; just wanted to share it) 👇

(*I mean this in a silly way; I don't actually have a problem with the AU)

The funny part of the Infection AU is that I imagine it actually playing out in the MLP universe, albeit in a way the Mane 6 help figure out a way to cure it before anyone (or anything) dies.

I dunno; I like happy endings in the face of extremely grim and horrifying situations.
