Here’s how my print came out!!! This was the first piece of paper I tested it in so I definitely could make a cleaner print but oh well🤷‍♀️

I’ll be giving these out as freebies with every jlaire charm I sell^^

I decided to post the Blue and Black & White version of this art piece

I really enjoy using this technique but on rare occasions since it uses up a lot of materials

Plus I need to leave the piece underneath a very heavy book for some period of time since I don't have a press haha

If you're interested these are the cut outs I carved out

On the left you have the main cut out and on the right the background. As you can tell I cut some corners when working on the background, you see nothing!

Removing colour from these takes some time but it's very relaxing haha

It's called the Linocut technique I believe

I will definitely post more of these. I just need to buy more linoleum haha

I don't really know how to post my lino prints and designs on here. Difficult to scan bigger than A4 format pieces. Maybe some well shot pictures ?

The reason why some of the covers have weird lines is that it's recycled from delivery bags

I think I should make it even more obvious in the next batch so it looks more intentional 🤔
