Super proud of this piece. It had been my curse for like 2 weeks because of those damn ruffles.
Like, this took 12.5 hours and I swear 1/4 of that time was spent on those ruffles. I’m never gonna draw a ruffle again. (I totally will though, very begrudgingly)
I’ve actually attempted this piece twice before and was never happy with the sketch. Third times the charm lol
It’s actually pretty cool to see the different attempts at the sketch over the past few years and see the evolution of my art pretty clearly through that.

FINALLY done with this print of mermaid Kokomi, gosh did this take me a while, the water gave me trouble and it took a while to decide how exactly I wanted the scales to look but she turned out well I think!
She is going to be a print on my Etsy alongside the already listed acrylic keychains that match!

Introducing an updated illustrated poster featuring all the tigers of the world! While it was once believed that there were nine subspecies of tigers, recent scientific research has shown that there are actually only two: those that live on the continent and those that reside on islands. However, within these two subspecies, there are various populations of tigers that were previously classified as distinct subspecies. Creating this poster was a labor of love that required a significant amount of time and effort. Some of the animals featured on the poster were particularly challenging to illustrate due to their extinction, which meant there was limited photographic evidence available to use as a reference. I am thrilled with the final product and hope that others will appreciate the attention to detail and care that went into each illustration. I finished the tapir's family. I had contemplated including the Kabomani Tapir, supposedly a new species discovered a few years ago. However, after conducting extensive research, I found insufficient credible evidence to support its classification as a distinct species. Nevertheless, I did uncover information confirming the existence of four subspecies of Lowland Tapir. Some studies suggest that a black tapir photographed in Malaysia may represent a new species of tapir, yet most scientists contend that it is simply a melanistic variation of the Malayan Tapir. As these examples illustrate, animal classification is not always clear-cut. Therefore, I will continue to study this fascinating animal family and keep abreast of any new developments.

Day 1 on my advent calendar, I got Krampus!
Krampuses (Krampi?) feature heavily in Victorian Christmas cards. They stuff bad children into baskets and take them to Hell, and give those who survive the purge presents.
Here's one of the lovely beasties. The legs sticking out of the basket is the icing on this cursed Christmas cake.
