I think Joey's a sweetheart like LOOK AT HIM.

maybe you worked for their manager or was somehow related or something.

or you met in Sweden and started dating there.

definitely the type to give you his jacket whenever even when it wasn't cold. like he be happy seeing his denim jacket on your shoulders or something.

hes romantic but pretty private about his personal life especially with getting more popular and touring America but that won't stop him from taking you out for dinner and stuff.

I think his love language would be quality time. like just sitting on his bed with you while the TV was on and he was writing down little lyrics he could use, and then give you little kisses.

if you're upset or depressed or mad at something or someone hes 100% listening. like a “pretend im not your boyfriend” kind of listening, ykwim?

I can see him being really honest in the sweetest way, he doesn't wanna lie to you but doesn't wanna hurt your feelings.

I mean he won't call you fat if you ask if you look fat in something or in general, he thinks your perfect and he'll tell you that because hes honest and thinks you're perfect.

but if you did ask something you were a little sensitive about and there was no way out of it, hed probably do a cute little head tilt with an almost apologetic smile and wouldn't say much about it.

but if you want his opinion on what to wear, hes there. cleaning out your closet? hes there with the “get rid of” box.

if you had a fight with a friend or family and your upset or wondering if you were in the wrong, hed probably tell you what you did was kinda wrong if you were in the wrong, but if they were in the wrong hed comfort you and let you tell him everything. 

probably comes home with flowers randomly.

also he loves when you do his hair. he can't really do anything with his natural hair so when he got a perm he loved how you'd ruffle it and fluff it up.

I think hed like to brush your hair for some reason. even at random times or just with his fingers.

or if you have curly hair and don't want that shit frizzy hed twirl his finger around your curls so they can keep their shape.

does memorize a lot about you

I think you guys would argue a little less than the average couple but it still happens. maybe not yelling but I think it'd just be stressed out and frustrated outbursts but he hates when you go to bed angry at him and hes just laying there on his back.

apologizes first if he's wrong. won't apologize first if you're wrong but maybe at the end of the day to get you to apologize too.

i don't see him getting jealous. like, hes not oblivious about it he knows when someone's flirting with you but I don't think he'd say too much about it. unless someone was flirting with you right in front of him while you guys were literally holding hands and he'd just give the guy a look like “dude im right here.”

hes sure you wouldn't flirt with anyone else but maybe if you drank a little and got a little carried away he'd pull you away from the guy and try and keep you away from the drinks and tell you that he was right here and you can't flirt with other guys. but he wouldn't get too upset over it.

hes just a big sweetheart and loves you and loves to make you happy.
