I think hawks' bedroom is a mattress on the floor (normal bed is hard because of the wings), a big window with blackout curtains that are always shut, and no other furniture or adornments besides his 'earring pile' next to the mattress. (this is because he doesn't like sleeping with them on but is too tired when he gets home to put them in their proper place). when rumi sees this, she says it's "the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life, hawks". so he gets a poster.
