Curate, connect, and discover
dream sulking around leaving trails of sand behind him and hob sighing and getting the vacuum cleaner
I… have nothng to say to this.
Why did you go to his slam poetry night?
Robert fucking Hob Gadling really had the nerve to be jealous of Will Shaxbeard, after showing his boyfriend friend acquaintance that he was the side piece after 200 years of going on dates.

I have no idea how this came to be, but it’s national treasure now. Gimme gimme more. Now.
Take Your Kid to Work Day (with Dream's decidedly more alarming version of an artist rendering their kid's drawing)
Dream: Wait, did you just flirt with me?
Hob: Have been for the past centuries but thanks for noticing.
So in the fourth book, before going to hell dream goes around saying goodbye just in case he doesn't return. Guess who his final stop is?
That's right Hob Gadling. 😭
Also this is the toast they make in dreams
I'm about to get cancelled over this, but the first time I noticed that Hob was into smoking I found it very attractive, I still do. It's sexy, at least when it comes to him idk, and I think he does it only when he's having some drinks, something like social smoking. Not a habit, but he can enjoy it once in a while. Dream it's definitely not into it, nor does he approve it, but after so many years he has come to the point where he doesn't care or mind the ashtray nor the smell.
All of this are hdc of mine, so feel free to disagree
It's time of truly important questions.
Hob smoked for two centuries. Has he quit smoking in our century?
How does Morpheus feel about the smell of smoke?
Does it annoy him when Hob smokes in his presence?
Is he angry because he has to kiss the ashtray?
Does Hob smoke in bed after sex?
Does Morpheus throw a pouch with sand at his head for this?
So many questions and no answers.
So, you know how many people are in an agreement that Dream and Hob should've met at a ball, instead of their pub, at least once as one of their many dates? Well, consider this
Hob and Dream dancing like that one scene in Enchanted, with So Close by Jon McLaughlin on the back. Hob is singing the lyrics in a whisper, a little out of breath, only for Dream to hear. It's a confession. He doesn't want to cross lines, or piss off his friend who just agreed to meet with him more than once in a hundred years, but at the same time he feels the need to tell him how does he actually feel about him, about their relationship. So, naturally, he sings it for him, even if Dream doesn't catch the hint.
He needs to get it out of his system one way or another.
Little does Hob know that he's daydreaming, too loud for Dream's liking. And Dream might be a little rough on the edges, but he does know how to catch a hint, alongside some pictures straight of Hob's mind. They're smiling to each other, but none of them are ready to say it out loud so they enjoy it. They'll have time to talk about it later.
Leaving the scene in question, so you can cry with me.
Canon, sorry but I don't make the rules
