Curate, connect, and discover
these are some books that i've bought recently. expecting lispector and camus of me should be common sense by now. and of course, literary theory. 🤍
clarice has been a great company these days. she speaks about god thru lóri's point of view, her believes, and it sounds a lot camus' absurdism! she says 'if i wanna pray, it would be to the cosmic or to Nothing'.
rainy days and depression, love to see it. 🌧🤍
Hi!!
I bought 4 books recently, 2 of them arrived today:
• o mito de sísifo - camus;
• exílios e poemas - james joyce.
As you know, I already read the myth of sysifus, but it was on kindle and i wanted to have the physical one. And the Joyce's, I never even had heard about it, but found it online and it sounds interesting.
Be kind to yourselves, fellas! 🤍🌧

new video is UP!!! a book haul
I bought the book Héritage d'Acadie by Jean-Claude Dupont, one of my favorite books on Acadian folk ways, and Luc Dupont sent me so many other books for free ❤️❤️❤️ my heart is so happy! Moonshadow is enjoying my scholarly spoils. I'm especially thrilled to receive the book on traditional Acadian medicine. That book is almost impossible to find still in print, and has been on my wishlist a very long time.
Lesson of the day: talk to your favorite authors and publishing houses. Especially in Acadian and French Canadian small print houses. They show so much generosity and openness in providing resources if you reach out.
I got a few new books to fuel my curiosity and my need for a more sophisticated vocabulary- and because I was in need of a good few stories.
I just can't help myself when I enter my local library.
