As someone with autism, I understand exactly how you feel. I may be white, but I'm don't act like those kinds of white people, because I'm Jewish and part-Hispanic and I will not stand for anyone ridiculing women, children or minorities. Therefore, I stand with am really happy for the little black girls who cheered on the Little Mermaid reboot.
Remember when the Little Mermaid reboot came out and white people were making fun of little black girls for being excited to see someone who looked like them and instead of learning something or just being happy or just seething in silence and not watching the movie they went “what’s the big deal”
It’s almost like white people never had actually felt the joy of finally seeing someone that looks like them in movies or tv shows because they’ve been seeing themselves in TV and movies since they were old enough to pay attention. Now they’re mad because other people are getting a little smidgen of attention and they don’t like it. Plus they’re envious because you know, I don’t think white people are capable of just being happy, its in their genes to just want everything to be about them and for them to be the main focus because it’ll kill them or something idk
