Abortion is still legal in some US states, despite the Dobbs decision.

Hey, everyone, it’s a horrible day here in the United States with Roe and Casey being overturned. But rather than lose hope, let’s keep the fight going because there’s a lot of incredible work being done on the ground. 

Here are some places you can donate to, and some further info:

There is a strong network of abortion funds throughout the country that have provided financial and practical support for decades! Visit http://abortionfunds.org/need-abortion to find your local one.

Anyone interested in promoting abortion access in the United States should donate to Keep Our Clinics to keep independent clinics (which provide 2/3 of abortions) open, or to their local abortion funds!

Anyone who's taking or planning on taking abortion pills at home can call or text ReproCare at 1-833-226-7821 for information, support, and referrals.

There are ways to legally get an abortion without your parents' permission if you are under 18! Visit the Judicial Bypass Wiki to find information specific to each state or call the JB Helpline: 1-844-868-2812

Plan C Pills, Pay as you can for as little as $5 if you're currently pregnant, $250 for future use pills being mailed to you.

Stock up on Plan B, Birth Control if you're on the Pill, personally I opted for Paraguard 10 years no hormones. Just... stay safe ladies.

This is a reminder to:

Never mention a possible pregnancy/abortion to anyone, especially not through a social media app messaging service such as messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Snapchat, etc.

Delete all period tracking apps and to start tracking using a planner or physical calendar

Book appointments for a form of birth control if possible, or to always carry condoms for yourself and other

Look into sterilization options if that is the route you want to go down (here is a list of 1000 doctors willing to sterilize you without a fight)

Protect your fellow person, protect the women in your life, the queer people, the disabled people, everyone will be affected by this

Form communities. Tell your people that you love them. Protect one another. Check in on one another. None of us are alone.

The reason abortion isn't considered an economic issue as all is because we fully expect moms to bear 100% of the work of raising the kid while still providing financially fir the family.

Mom can't find a babysitter? Sounds like she'll have to work nights while her mom watches the baby so dad can get some sleep. Or she'll stay home for 5 years and let her own career crater, and then maybe she'll be able to go back to work after racking up credit card debt, idk, that's her problem, not mine.
