every disordered soul is its own punishment

Thanks to this god-blessed tutorial, I’ve been able to convert some patterns made with CAP into 100% working package files. And I thought I should keep a record of the process here for future reference. I only rewrote the exact same tutorial with pictures and this tut is really simple.
I. Convert a pattern made with Create-a-Pattern tool into package format. (Read this tutorial if you don’t know how to convert.)
II. GIVE THE PATTERN A NEW RESOURCE NAME
The cause of the notorious Materializing Materials error is that ALL the patterns made with CAP has the SAME instance value (*). So, the solution is to give each pattern a unique instance value.
Open the file with S3PE. Double click on the _IMG tags with instance of 7edd20633162e6ce.
Click [Use resource name]
Write down any unique name
Click FNV64 button. It will regenerate new instance value.
The instance has changed to 0xAEE5CFA2DED89772. Copy the value except for the first two letters (0x).
III. EDIT XML TO HAVE THE NEW RESOURCE NAME
Right-click the _XML that has the type 0x0333406C and select [Notepad] so you can edit the xml file.
Replace 7edd20633162e6ce with the value you copied in Step II-5. In this case it is AEE5CFA2DED89772.
Save the XML file and close the notepad.
Select YES to commit change AND SAVE.

Notes by @sweetdevil-sims:
This tutorial applies to patterns that were converted from .sims3pack to .package format.
(*) this is NOT the reason for the Materializing Materials error. The issue described and fixed by @ohmysims. manifests as multiple patterns being replaced by the image of a single pattern. The MM error is caused by an extra space where there shouldn’t be one. For more info, check these resources:
MTS thread with several ways to fix the MM error
Tumblr post with a tutorial for fixing the MM error
The fix for the “Materializing Materials” error is independent of the one for the Create-a-Pattern conflicting resources error (which is described in the tutorial above).

Descriptions & preview pics under the cut:
If you use the Nraas Hybrid mod to make mermaid-vampire sims, it's a headache getting them to eat a effing thing that's not plasma-based. So I took EA's Kelp mesh and slapped Nona's script on it, to make it "raw food" that can fill a vampire's Thirst need. (I HIGHLY recommend also using Nona's other raw foods--there's a nice juicy fish vamps can eat, which I used in my IWTV post here.)
(The harness mesh was shamelessly ripped/reshaped from Mermaidia's Seahorse Taxi. I didn't place the handles as well as I probably should have, but oh frikkin well.) I was too lazy to make this fully recolorable (you can kinda sorta recolor it, since I put the textures in the Multiplier not the Overlay)--but it does come in 4 color variations:
I've been wanting this decor hammock as a functional loveseat for frikkin ever. This gameplay gave me the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and make it. The mesh is rescaled to fit EA loveseats. Fully recolorable, comes in multiple variations, like the original.
I was so jealous that Pocci remade their TS3 Jellyfish ceiling lights for TS4 without the obnoxious strings dangling from the ceiling, so I went and made their Jellyfish 01 & 02 stringless myself. Then I made the Jellyfish as a Teddy Bear. The clipping & joints aren't great, but it works and I'm tired.
It's amazing, the kind of IRL deep-sea critters you learn about, just by reading mermaid fanfiction.
They come in a bunch of variations. Two are based on IRL portions of the Madaba Map, for no good reason, other than I just needed a medievalesque mosaic map #ForReasons.
I made sure there were no backfaces on the ivy mesh, so you could still see inside the lot from a bird's eye view. (I used these with the TW3 Bulb Lights I converted here.)
I made this tree recolorable and an outfoor light--I wish I knew how to make only the leaves glowe, not the whole frikkin trunk. Ah well.
All I did was change the texture of the flowers so they were crystal/see-through.
And that's that!

Hey guys!
So, there are lot of different places you can download EA’s store content. The purpose of how I do it was to give you the option to pick and choose the items you want. Everything is individualized, but since I’ve finished the majority of the work, there’s been a lot of asks for an easy way to download everything in one go. I’ve slowly been uploading bulk versions of each set, but that’s not exactly what you’re all asking for right?
This is the best compromise I found. My store content folder looks like this:
(FORGOTTEN is what I call the limited sets that you can’t find on the store anymore. ie: Dr Pepper sets)
I have merged every piece of store content I’ve uploaded in these 6 huge files (the biggest is 2GB) with the separated folder for content that also needs to standalone to work properly.
THIS works for me. BUT
It doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. I’ve decided to share these, but I cannot guarantee this format will work for you and I will not be uploading a different set up. I will not be helping you troubleshoot problems associated to this - you download and use at your own risk.
Here is the google drive folder containing the files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1SuQohFbSvOPXEFVzGRbmr7UwlEVlgIYj?usp=sharing
You’ll find the 6 files and folder to put in your Mods/Packages.
ADDITIONALLY, you’ll find a folder containing all the store content lots that you have to place in your Library folder.
FINALLY, you’ll find a folder containing all my .world files with a ReadMe.txt explaining where they go depending on where you got the game.
Everything has been compressed using https://www.7-zip.org/ because I have limited google drive storage.
ENJOY
I have been uploading everything on discord, if you have it, come say hi! It’s easier to help you troubleshoot any issues you have and others might have experienced the same thing. There are no broken links on discord either because unlike tumblr and blogger, it doesn’t have it out for me.

More info & download under the cut:
These are the wall ivy pieces that come with the store Old Mill set (original here). I've made them all recolorable, with the first preset of each being the original with the overlay, and the second one (fourth for the window piece) the one you can CAST.
These are standalone packages, you don't need the original store files. However I've used Blams' undecrapped files as base and haven't renumbered them, so if you already have the store originals these should replace them.
7 pieces, all under deco/plants, the top 3 are shiftable.
BG compatible, compressed.
Enjoy!
There are all in all 10 nonrecolorable Finnish, Russian and Eastern European style decorative shell building objects of different sizes and colours, some of them have windows lighting up when it gets dark.
While directly adding them on your lots these state of the art buildings can be found under the Misc object category through buydebug or you can add them anywhere in your map through the edit town mode.
Also enabled for CAW.
Low poly, ranging from 20 to 304.
Pictures above have been resized but are otherwise untouched. You get exactly what you see there.
NOTE
While tweaking the textures I kind of started to understand why EA uses such weirdly stretched and dull textures on their rabbit holes and stuff. Unfortunately these flicker a little when you move your camera around as they are sharper than most EA ones, I smoothed them down a lot but it’s as good as it can get (´∩`。)

Original 3d mesh created by Denis Loginovskiy for Euro Truck Simulator 2. This deco shell building project was inspired by @silvakristiina and her Finland/Lapland project, she was also a real peach and helped with testing these in game for me. I’m forever grateful to @hydrangeachainsaw for her amazing tutorial and her neverending patience while answering to my dum dum questions. Also hi5 to @simlicious for teaching and helping me to understand meshing better, you are a true gem! ♡
A set of TS3 Tools by Athelos at Nexusmods! TS3Tools - Revolutionize Your Sims 3 Experience! A full suite of tweaks, patches, bugfixes, mods and modding tools, all in one place!
Athelos mod notes:
It's official!
TS3Tools has gotten to a point where I am comfortable releasing it to the public for use. I have been working on this project off and on since 2021, and while it started out merely as an enhanced launcher for the game and a side-project, it has evolved into so much more.
--- TS3Tools Features ---
• Update the games GraphicsRules with new GPU's. • Install support for Alder Lake Intel CPU's. • Install Lazy Duchess' Smooth Patch and enhanced launcher. • Install nRaas tweaks to mitigate in-game errors and debug. • Follow comprehensive guides to tweak game config files to allow the game to harness more power from your system. • Stretch the in-game UI to fit FHD (1440p) and UHD (2160p) resolutions. • Find the best in-game settings to speed up loading into neighborhoods. • Convert Showtime to Collector's Edition. • Migrate Katy Perry's Sweet Treats from EA to Steam (or Retail). • Find various exclusive deals on expansions and stuff packs. • Install patches for the Base Game through to Outdoor Living Stuff (Retail only). • Install Simler90's various engine tweaks and fixes. • Install various gameplay fixes for Base, EP's and Store items (58 fixes in total, with more coming soon). • Install Regul's Save Cleaner to help debloat your saves. • View and download various curated and recommended mods. • In-depth guide to obtaining Store items at the best time using the Daily Deal rotation spreadsheet. • Can be installed on top of an existing 1.67 / 1.69 installation and supports EA, Steam and Retail, but a clean install of The Sims 3 is recommended.
There's also a nifty easter egg hidden in the program, props to anyone who is able to find it.
The app and site have links to the Discord for general chit-chat and support as well. Download from nexusmods (registration to download!)
