Idk about you, that’s what I saw go down.
how did Donald Duck influence Star Wars? And wasn’t Indiana Jones inspired by Scrooge, not Donald?
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg mentioned that they were inspired by Carl Barks' comics.
So was Osamu Tezuka, the creator of Astro Boy and "Godfather of Modern Manga."
And Donald Duck was going on adventures with his nephews in the Carl Barks comics long before Scrooge McDuck was created and this is precisely why DT17 and other media trying to give all the credit to Scrooge but forgetting that Donald was the FIRST just proves my point in my frustration with them.
Everyone just thinks it was Scrooge McDuck thanks to the later Don Rosa's work: "Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" which was loosely based on Carl Barks' works (Don Rosa exaggerated a lot of Scrooge's abilities at the expense of Donald's).
This is why I advocate for giving credit where credit is due when it comes to canon characters and where I feel DT17 really dropped the ball. Donald was an adventurer looong before Scrooge and some of Carl Barks' best comics don't even have him:
-"Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold" - Carl Barks first full length comic
- "Mystery of the Swamp" - Donald and nephews encounter gnomish creatures in the Everglades which some think were the inspiration for the Ewoks in Star Wars
"The Mad Chemist" (the comic credited with discovering the chemical compound methylene 20 years before it was actually studied and verified!)
-"Lost in the Andes" - Carl Barks claimed was his best work
- "The Golden Helmet" - Donald and nephews: whoever possesses the golden helmet is ruler of North America
- "The Ice Box Robber" - The comic that showcased Donald having WWII PTSD
- "Sherrif of Bullet Valley" - Donald and nephews in the Wild West
- "Dangerous Disguise" - a comic about spies where a Donald look alike commits suicide by jumping out of a window
- "Luck of the North" Donald and nephews rescue Gladstone in Alaska
"Old California" - Donald and the nephews seem to time travel to California in 1848 and they witness the family there living their lives. It turns out they were in a bad car accident and were on the hospital in a coma for weeks. But the house is still there.
"A Christmas for Shacktown" - Donald and the nephews find ways to raise money for the poor kids in town
"The Gilded Man" - A search for a rare stamp leads Donald and the boys finding El Dorado
- "The Forbidden Valley" - Donald and the nephews discover a lost land of dinosaurs
Just to name a few. There are plenty more.
The great thing about the Carl Barks comics especially when it came to Donald was that although he still had bad luck, it showed him also have great skills in practically everything and it tackled deep emotional issues and real world events such as PTSD, spies/espionage, danger/adventure, poverty, but in a way that was relatable and entertaining.
Donald mixed the best of high action adventure with scenes of intimate, heartwarming domestic life with his nephews. It was literally the best of both worlds: adventure and domestic life.
So the world needs to know that actually it's Donald Duck that deserves the credit for the success of the Carl Barks comics. Not only was Donald first but he was used as the protagonist for many more comics than Scrooge. And I hope if we ever get another version of Ducktales that the writers actually credit Donald as he deserves and not a bunch of semi newbies that don't even exist in the original comics.
There's so much he inspired and influenced that people don't know and so it's unfair for him to be sidelined as he was for characters that haven't accomplished one iota of what he has.
It's time to give credit where it's actually due: to Donald Duck.
anybody who has seen even only one episode of miraculous ladybug can perfectly describe who chat noir is - he's brazen, he's fun, he's witty, he's flamboyant and overdramatic. he's the kind of hero who will preen confidently, give you a captivating wink and then he's off to save the world. but he's not chat noir all the time, or even half the time. most of the time, chat noir is adrien agreste - a quiet and exceedingly polite kid, who is likely to fade into the background despite his supermodel status. and sure, he knows how to be graceful and how to exude charisma, and he's still capable of being a drama queen (like slouching down a wall from being lovestruck).
but this post isn't about that.
because adrien is gabriel agreste's son all the time - a cold, careless, intimidating man, who will raise his voice to force others into submission, and who is depicted almost always with clenched fists.
what i've tried to do here is outline through images how gabriel's abuse has altered and influenced adrien's body language. because of tumblr's image limits (and the limits of my own patience), i have definitely missed some scenes, but i believe that i've managed to present with commentary the most important parts.
warning: image-heavy post.
chat noir is larger than life. adrien agreste tries to make himself as small as possible.
one of the biggest visual cues that the show gives us about adrien is that he has the tendency to wrap his arms around himself as a way of protection, whether because he's afraid of being vulnerable in front of others, or because he's self-soothing. he will do that even when there are other people around him that are offering comfort. adrien avoids bothering others with his feelings as much as possible, and putting his arms around his front serves as a replacement for the tender and warm touch he craves. he can also slouch, or put his knees up while sitting, creating a cocoon of sorts to feel safe. we also see him standing with his arms crossed in the rare times he tries to confront someone (his father or ladybug usually). whether he's sad, angry, guilty, disappointed, adrien will try to retreat to safety by forming a shield, so to speak.
there is an indisputable link between body and mind when it comes to trauma. adrien tries to not take much space not only with his physical presence, but by also almost never speaking up in class (unless to defend marinette), trying to be concise when communicating, and rarely making jokes. he's extremely reserved.
one of the scenes between gabriel and adrien that solidifies that adrien is terrified of his father happens in the first episode of season 2, when gabriel forbids adrien from attending school as a punishment for stealing and losing the grimoire. notice how gabriel is speaking with his back turned to his son, insinuating that adrien is not even worthy of being looked in the eyes. at one point he clenches his fist, as if to threaten his son. adrien is sitting on his computer chair with his hands in his lap, only lifting them defensively when he tries to explain himself. gabriel stands directly in front of him, as if shadowing adrien with his anger and contempt.
let's take a look at another episode - 'captain hardrock', in which gabriel and nathalie are listening to adrien play a piano piece. the screenshots in the upper half are from a moment when adrien hits a wrong note - notice the sheer fear and panic in his expression. he is immediately stopped, reprimanded for making a mistake, accused of being irresponsible and influenced by his rock band friends, and he's forbidden from attending his friends' concert. what's interesting about this moment isn't how he once again tries to make himself scarce physically - it's the terrified glance he gives his father when he plays the wrong key. you can just tell that adrien has internalized his father's reproaches and that his disapproving voice lives in his head, even when gabriel isn't there.
and can anyone judge him? take a look at these two screencaptures from 'stormy weather 2'. what happened is that adrien walked into his father's office, bright and enthusiastic, eager to tell him about the interesting idea behind his last photoshoot, and not only did he dare to interrupt gabriel's villainy, but he also accidentally called him 'dad' instead of 'father', as gabriel demands. a dirty look over the shoulder, two clenched fists, and adrien immediately apologizes and retreats.
adrien lives life on the defense. he has a naturally delicate and sensitive personality, which earns only eye rolls and accusations of put-on dramatism (there is also something to be said about how gabriel and adrien's relationship neatly corresponds to male and female gender roles, but that's yet another meta for another day).
notice the scene with ladybug in the image above - a rare time where adrien's trauma body language has bled into chat noir. he's insecure because 'nobody tells [him] how awesome [he] is', and he refuses to look ladybug or alix in the eyes while saying it. adrien is uncomfortable with looking at people during his most vulnerable moments.
'glaciator' is one of the episodes that can serve like a crash course on the way adrien carries himself under stress, this time because he's disappointed and heartbroken that the girl he loves didn't come to his surprise.
when around his father, if there's somebody else around he feels close to, adrien might lean on that other person, in order to feel stronger and braver.
now. not to be a conspiracy theorist about a cartoon or something, but. as miraculous is told from marinette's pov, we don't have a lot of episodes that focus on the agrestes, so we, the audience, often rely on guesswork and speculation. what was the relationship between emilie and gabriel? what was emilie really like? is she really as good as adrien claims, if he was strictly isolated the entire time she was alive? i do think that adrien's life has been mostly unexplored in canon (so far), and that includes his relationship with gabriel. i want to make it as clear as possible - adrien is brave to the point of stupidity, and not just as chat noir. let's not forget that he jumped from the top of a skyscraper, lead only by his faith that ladybug will save him, who, by the way, was busy being captured by gorizilla and screaming for help herself. if that's not crazy, i don't know what is.
adrien is afraid of his father. you don't get a child that so obviously displays trauma symptoms with a few cruel jabs. i very, very strongly feel that we haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to gabriel's abuse. look at the screencaptures above from the episode 'simon says'. adrien is familiar with his father's insults, very much so. who else remembers how his father was nowhere to be found when he won a fencing tournament in 'chat blanc', but the day his technique is slipping, his father is waiting at the top of the stairs of the agreste mansion, ready to reprimand adrien? and speaking of 'chat blanc'...
these two moments might be the saddest. we don't know yet if adrien knows the true identity of hawk moth in 'ephemeral'. i'm leaning towards yes, because adrien is so courageous that he had no problems fighting what he assumed to be the real hawk moth with an umbrella in 'the puppeteer 2'.
in both situations, he's being cornered. adrien's moving slowly (hell, he's crawling in 'chat blanc), his face frozen in a mask of pure fear. look at adrien in 'chat blanc' - a boy who has the power to destroy everything he touches is now trying to surrender and is begging with one palm in the air. in both cases, right before getting akumatized by his father, adrien displays the trauma stress response known as 'freeze', instead of 'fight' or 'flight'. he's immobile and passive. a classic adrien line is 'i can't stand by and do nothing!', and yet here he is, thoughts completely shut off, unable to plan a way to get to safety or fight for his self-preservation.
ladybug has said that chat noir is braver than her. he is reckless, for sure. but when it comes to gabriel, adrien retreats to an almost womb-like state physically, instead of the openness and 'world is my oyster' attitude he displays as chat noir. he mistakenly believes that the less space he takes, the less he is heard and seen, and the less he asserts himself as someone with wants and needs, the less angry and disappointed will gabriel be. and that is adrien's biggest mental fallacy, since we're talking about the man who will readily make adrien suffer, only because adrien is getting into his way.
N/ purely self-indulgent hhh, plus I always wanted to do something like this when I read a good fic. First attempt at making a webcomic.

Summary:
Shikamaru’s never felt chakra so vibrant and warm before.
The log that Naruto’s been punching shatters clean apart, reduced to little more than splinters under the devastating force of his chakra enhanced blow.
Shocked and more than a bit startled, Shikamaru wheezes loudly, the sound carrying across the clearing and causing Naruto to abruptly turn and look in his direction.
And in that single moment Shikamaru is lost.
[excerpt]
...because Shikamaru is a Nara to the core, is the strongest they've seen in generations, and the Nara have always been a clan of Shadows after all.
and what does the shadow crave more than the light?
Naruto, with his ocean blue eyes and his golden hair swaying in the breeze his attack had created, shines as bright as the sun itself.
And Shikamaru intends to have him.
..."so much for that quiet wife and two ordinary kids idea."
"Time for a new plan." Because, really, there's no way life with Naruto is going to be any form of quiet or normal.
....Shikamaru's entire life plan has to be thrown out the window and then redrawn from scratch.
Either way Shikamaru's not actually all that upset about his entire life being thrown into an abrupt upheaval.
After all, convincing Naruto to marry him as soon as possible will be well worth the effort.
Naruto's pretty sure this is the closest they've ever actually been to one another outside of the few times they've been paired up to spar in class.
"What're you doing after this?" Shikamaru asks, one hand coming out of his pocket to reach out and play idly with the dangling sleeve of Naruto's kimono.
"After training?" Naruto keeps one eye on Shikamaru's hand...
"More like for the rest of your life," Shikamaru says. "But sure, we can start with training."
Naruto blinks.
.....[Naruto's] not really sure what, exactly, is happening here but he thinks this might mean Shikamaru wants to be his friend now.
Ah my sweet summer child.
Not an exact play by play of what was written in the fic, only the gist I guess and the moment that rly stuck in my head and got me giggling in my pillow.
My love for the "oblivious pure(?) mc and their darker, possessive s/o" trope has struck again. Couldn't've stopped myself from finishing this even when sleep-deprived, which I currently am right now. Had fun challenging myself with this too and might attempt it again with a future chapter or other works depending on my schedule. I'm occupied with studying this month so making something time extensive like this won't happen for awhile yet.
Excitedly waiting for updates :D
"Percy gave up godhood for Annabeth, it was all for her-"
I'm sorry which fanfic are you getting this from? This is the passage in tlo:
Yeah. he looks at her. But he also thinks about Charles Beckendorf, Michael Yew, Silena Beauregard, Ethan Nakamura and Luke Castellan and everything they stood for. Everything they DIED for. And the says no BECAUSE OF THAT.
it wasn't a percabeth moment. it was a moment of standing up for what's right and changing a neglectful system to support kids with disabilities and kids that were being killed off by monsters. it's demeaning to Percy's character and misinterpreting the entire series to claim otherwise.
I cannot believe how this hasn't been addressed in the PJO Fandom yet but does no one notice that the books, Rick himself glosses over or downplays the fact that PERCY FUCKING JACKSON GAVE UP IMMORTALITY!!!
And in reason as to why Percy gave up immortality?
The Percabeth stans are only too happy to make "Oh Percy gave up immortality for Annabeth." The hell he did. Have we read the same books? Are you really demeaning the importance of what Percy did. Cause here's what happened, and here's why it's so important:
PERCY GAVE UP IMMORTALITY SO THAT GODS COULD CLAIM DEMIGOD CHILDREN EARLY SO THAT THEY DO NOT REMAIN DEFENSELESS.
Furthermore, he did it so CHILDREN OF MINOR GODS COULD HAVE A PLACE TO BELONG TO, TO HAVE IDENTITY OF THEIR OWN, SO MINOR GODS THEMSELVES CAN BE PROPERLY ACKNOWLEDGED.
Similarly, he further added that CHILDREN OF HADES SHOULD NOT BE OSTRACIZED, THEY AS WELL AS HADES DESERVE TO BE WELCOME INTO OLYMPUS AND INTO CAMP , DESERVE PROPER RESPECT.
What ticks me off the most is how such an important sacrifice such an important change is never addressed again to the extent it deserves.
Cause this is not a surface level thing. This is going to change and better the lives of all demigods that come after or even demigods who were wrongly forced to remain in Hermes Cabin. A safe, more respectful, more meaningful environment for all demigods no matter who their godly parent is.
Are you telling that children of minor gods don't literally worship Percy for doing all this? Don't wholly completely feel grateful at least that he voiced out for them over his own difficulties? That he made a safe place for them happen?
Are you telling me that Minor Gods themselves don't feel at least a little grateful and respect Percy who did this of his own volition without having even met many Minor Gods. That he voiced out for their own children when they couldn't?
Are you telling me that Travis and Connor or any other demigods and cabin counselors don't automatically rave on about the greatness of Percy Jackson to any new arrivals in Camp Half-Blood?
Cause we were robbed of this of a proper homage to the sacrifice other demigods, Luke himself and Percy himself made to make it happen.
Piper, Leo , and Jason all seem so ignorant to it. Even newer demigods in Chalice of Gods or other books seem ignorant to this, and that's so against the usual canon representation of Camp Half-Blood as a community.
We should have seen it in Lost Hero, should have seen it in Chalice of Gods, should have seen it acknowledge repeatedly. You know why?
Yes, Percy didn't want immortality, but don't you know that deep down Percy knew exactly what immortality meant? Eternal protection from his father in his realm. No Gods bothering him, no more sacrifices or death quests. Freedom to do what he wants. To be able to spend time with his family as long as he wants without the worry of risking their safety. And he gave it all up
NOT EVEN IMMORTALITY. GODS WOULD HAVE GRANTED ANY WISH. HE COULD HAVE WISHED ANYTHING. FOR HIM TO BE PROTECTED? NO MORE QUESTS? FOR GODS TO LEAVE HIM ALONE? HE GAVE IT ALL UP, ALL OF IT.
Perseus bloody Jackson made happen what no one in the History of Camp Half-Blood has ever done. He managed to make Gods change their ignorant ways. He dismantled a culture of neglect and abuse.
And the fact Rick himself let this happen, let all this gloss over, and the fact that Percabeth stans have the AUDACITY to insinuate that he did for Annabeth and demean Luke's sacrifice, Percy's sacrifice is beyond me.
Since I can't reblog, I'll respond this way.
THIS IS NOT TO ATTACK BUT TO SHARE MY REASONING FOR DISAGREEMENT.
I won't lie. This tweet really bothered me. Same annoyance and sadness with 'You can't criticize percabeth because it's based on Rick's marriage.' I'm not saying you said that, but I see that comment often.
Anyway, I'm going to remain respectful.
You are NOT erasing Percy's character's strength by pointing out the toxicity and abuse of Percabeth. Yes, Percy is not afraid of calling out people's nonsense. HOWEVER, he does that with people he DOES NOT like. Of course, it's easier for him to call out people he doesn't like because it wouldn't affect him.
However, when it comes to people he cares for, that's another story. When it comes to Grover nearly fucking up Percy's quest because he didn't want him or Annabeth to leave him, instead of calling out his selfishness, Percy bites his tongue and BLAMES HIMSELF for making Grover feel that way.
What about when his mother admits she was selfish by not letting him go to camp? Despite being a safer option, she didn't want him going to camp. Percy had every right to be mad. This could've saved him from Gabe. But instead, he still adores her. He doesn't hold it against her.
Lastly, with Annabeth, she's done all sorts of things, like punching him in the gut, judo flipping him with the intention of hurting him, and blaming him for leaving her even though he was kidnapped.
Did Percy lash out? No. There wasn't a retort either. Instead, he laughed it off, and they haven't spoken about it. If anything, he felt the need to make it up to Annabeth. He felt GUILTY for something that was not his fault.
What about when she calls him seaweed brain, a name he doesn't like? A name similar to 'brain boy,' something smelly Gabe calls him to demean his intelligence. A name that ANNABETH finds insulting too, and doesn't want to be called. Does he tell her to stop or call her mean names back? Kinda, but he later GIVES UP and bites his tongue.
What about when Reyna says he 'couldn't find his way out of a paper bag,' and Annabeth laughs and agrees with her. Percy may have said 'hey!" but that's it. Was it talked about? I don't think so. It was brushed to the side.
Percy may be brave enough to stand up to bullies, but he doesn't stand up to his loved ones when they truly hurt him. His fatal flaw being loyalty to loved ones, even when they fuck him over, prevents him from doing that.
Annabeth is nowhere near like Gabe, but that doesn't mean she's not hurting Percy, and you're not degrading Percy for calling this out.
I was in Percy's shoes. I stood up to bullies and people I didn't like. Uncomfortable? Scary? Hell yeah, but I did it anyway. I know what that's like. However, just like Percy, I also brushed off the pain my friends and loved ones caused me. I brushed off my 'friends' fucking me over, even took the blame for them. Why? I didn't want them to leave me. I overlooked when my loved ones would unintentionally say hurtful things. Why? Because I love them and didn't want them to leave me either. Also, I tried to appear strong, too. It's okay now that I had therapy and stuff.
Guess what? Percy does the same thing, and that's worth calling out. Victims of abuse tend to overlook their loved ones hurting them.
I'm not 'minimizing' or 'erasing' Percy's strength and courage for calling a spade a spade, and I can not stand when percabeth stans try to sweep toxic things Annabeth does under the rug. Again, is she abusive and like Gabe? No. BUT she does things that remind me of Gabe, like calling Percy mean names to insult his intelligence. She hits, kicks, and hurts him when he does something she doesn't like. Gabe doesn't do this, but Annabeth would sometimes play mind games or make her boyfriend anxious just for the hell of it. (Bringing up Rachel to make Percy uncomfortable). I'll stop listing.
But I have to say. You said it was 'insulting' to Annabeth to call her actions 'abusive'? I say it's insulting to act like what she's doing isn't abusive or toxic. All that I've listed, she didn't do this playfully or in a lighthearted manner. Annabeth did this angry or annoyed and with INTENT. It wasn't an oopsie! No, she wants it to hurt, especially the judo flip scene. So, do I care if I insult Annabeth? Sorry, but no. I don't care because she's in the wrong. Not always, but MOST, and I don't feel guilty because of her actions and how she hasn't learned (and doesn't want to).
Overall, I hate that these types of arguments become popular. I understand you don't like your ship being called horrible things, and I'm not trying to be mean. Most of us are not. However, we can NOT sweep over some of the things Annabeth or Percy do, mainly Annabeth.
I'm sorry for dumping something heavy. I'm not trying to make this about me. My point is that you're not discarding Percy for calling out Percabeth's toxicity. That's it.

Darius: Hunter is stuck in the human realm! What if something happens to him?
Alador: My daughter is there too, but it'll be okay. They're with Luz. Your son will be safe.
Darius: Son? Hunter isn't my son.
Alador: He isn't?
Eberwolf: He isn't??

Hello, I want to ask what are the science kids & the Austins worst experiences with Marinette or Ladybug were? Like it could be mixed of both, I’m just wondering.
Okay! *cracks knuckles* Let’s fucking do this!
Simon:
Asked by her many many many times to help her get some video footage of Adrien. He would’ve said yes, but Marinette asked for him to do it in secret
Uh… Illegal? And when they said no, she snapped and sent him dozens of photos she took of Adrien in secret before storming off… He’s an accomplice now.
Reshma:
Alienated simply because she was rich and Marinette saw a photo of her in a magazine with Chloé for some charity gala, and immediately assumed the worst
Marinette spread a rumor back when they were twelve that she and Chloé are friends, making it hard for Reshma to make any friends for herself
Denise:
Reprimanded by Ladybug in front of dozens of people for “vigilantism” when really, they just punched an Akuma before it could attack Simon
When they commissioned a dress, Marinette explained that she didn’t quite have enough fabric for Denise’s build, even when Denise made serval offers to pay double. She didn’t wanna “waste” fabric. (I’ll give some of ya’ll a moment to think about what that means)
Jean:
Pressured into giving up the lead role in a play to Adrien so Marinette could kiss him
He got Akumatized because of that, and received a harsh lecture for Ladybug over forgiveness or some shit, and Marinette never apologized to him
Ismael:
Marinette: “No offense, and not to be rude, but your current look is kinda butch. I get your wanna- I mean, your are a guy, but you could stand to look a little more presentable. And remember, there’s no shame in having a feminine touch to your clothes.”
She’s one of those aggressively accepting people who goes on about how “Ismael, you should be a model! You look so good! I can make you tons of binders, and I’ll donate the money to transgender charities!”
Marc:
He wore ONE magenta skirt to school and now Marinette keeps trying to get him to wear more traditionally feminine clothing and be her model for an “inclusive line”. And when he was Rooster Bold, Ladybug kept trying to get him to transform into an outfit more like Pigella’s
Marinette keeps giving him terrible advice for dating Nathaniel, even going so far as to suggest he should stalk him
Cosette:
Promised dozens of times to help them study for a big test, but NEVER kept them. Cosette managed to get a good grade on their own, but there Marinette is taking the credit for “helping them study” and soaking up the praise
And Cosette is just like: Uh, bitch? You didn’t do jackshit.
Lacey:
While doing parkour around Paris, she was interrupted by a sudden Akuma attack. As she was sprinting back home, Ladybug swooped in out of nowhere and knocked them off the side of a building. Lacey was horribly injured and Ladybug didn’t do shit to help her back up, Chat Noir did
And when the Cure took effect, instead of asking if she was alright, Ladybug had the gall to reprimand her and Chat in front dozens od people for their “recklessness”, and Lacey was forced to take some shitty seminar of safety and shit even though she’s gone through all the regulations of what she can and can’t do
Zoé:
Unwillingly dragged into the cringe Adrinette plans despite her constantly saying no, only to be met with some clear gaslighting from Marinette
When she told Marinette about how she was bullied at school, this girl made it all about herself and talked about how she was constantly bullied by Chloé until Zoé faked being sick and left… Then Marinette texted her the rest of her story when she got home
Aurore:
Aurore has a habit of correcting people, not to be rude, just so they don’t make the mistake again. When Ladybug was having a hard time figuring out what to do with her Lucky Charm, and her method would have put lives in danger, Aurore rushed in and used the Lucky Charm in a way that wouldn’t have risked the lives of probably dozens
And although Aurore received praise from the citizens for her quick thinking, Ladybug was pissed, scolded Aurore for behaving so recklessly without a Miraculous, and told everyone to never follow her example. This public scene got Aurore suspended from being the weather girl for a while until some protesters backed her up
Mireille:
When Marinette heard she was going to a party with Adrien thanks to her dad’s connections, she kept trying to “coerce” Mireille into making her her plus-one. But Mireille said no dozens of time and in a fit of jealousy, Marinette moved the “wet floor” sign and Mireille tripped and fell on the floor, allowing Marinette to steal her ticket
While on bed rest, Mireille turned the tv on and saw Marinette in a pink evening dress holding Adrien’s hand and going on about how Mireille was so nice to give up her ticket to her since she couldn’t go
Austin A:
As revenge for a bad review on her website, Marinette stole his makeup bag and swapped out his face cream for something Austin’s allergic to. So, when Austin used it, his skin broke out in hives and he had to go to the hospital
When he returned to school, he heard Marinette going on to her friends about how he deserved what happened. The worst part of this is that the bad review was warranted. The scarf he commissioned unraveled easily
Austin B:
He decided to try out for the Mecha Strike tournament because Max was out sick and wouldn’t be able to compete. He won, and gets to play alongside Adrien. But, then! Marinette swoops in and steals his position
Then she rubs it in his face in private, telling him the school doesn’t need “another Chloé” representing them
Austin Q:
Saw him walking his brother home while he was in his headspace, made a show that she was concerned about him of all people being the one to care for Félice, causing Félice to have a panic attack that she accused Austin of causing
Saw him buying a shark plushie at a toy store and took a picture, which she sent to everyone, and Austin was too mortified to leave his own home
Austin T
During a school bake sale, more customers were going to his booth instead of hers, she got jealous and made backhanded compliments about how “his pastries are so good that Austins clearly enjoys them himself” (Give y’all a moment to think about what she meant)
When Ladybug came fo the school as a guest speaker to speak about abuse, she used Austin and Jean as an example when talking about dating violence, implying that Austin is an emotional abuser and questioning why Jean wears so many long-sleeve shirts
*Later*
Aurore: So, we’re in agreement. Marinette needs to be stopped, expelled, and then arrested.
Austin T: And Ladybug needs to turn in her Miraculous to someone who’s not a total b-word.
Denise: For sure. That girl just expects me to sit by and let my friends get hurt so she can do her stupid Cure in the very end? Nope! I’m getting real sick of that bitch!
Austin A: So… What’s the plan?
Everyone: …
Simon: Honestly, I don’t have one. Okay, both of them have too much influence, they know celebrities, and a bunch of fans to back them up… Huh. Saying it out loud, Marinette and Ladybug are kinda similar.
Jean: … Oh, hell no.
Cosette: Nope. No, you stop thinking that, Jean.
Jean: Too late.
Austin B: Well, if you look at the facts, it makes sense. Plus, it’s not a coincidence we’ve been screwed over by those two in the worst possible ways.
Aurore: True. But, Marinette will just pull the “poor me” card and say her actions were from the stress of being Ladybug.
Marc: … Fuck it. Fuck any photo consent laws. We follow Marinette during an Akuma attack, take a video of her transforming and post it on an untraceable anonymous account. She’s forced to give up her Miraculous to someone WAY more competent, and that takes care of one problem. While she’s getting the martyr treatment, we expose Marinette for the person she truly is in and out of the mask. She loses everything, and we win.
Everyone: …
Ismael: Marc… I am so proud of you! You devious little Angel! Let’s do this! Are you people ready?!
Reshma: So ready.
Austin Q: I was born to do this!
Cosette: LET’S BURN THAT BITCH TO THE GROUND!
Oops. I dropped these. Enjoy!

Marinette being a Stalker- Part 1
Marinette is a creepy stalker
It's said that the deeper the bow, the deeper the respect.
But notice how Aaravos bows to Callum too.
Yes, Aaravos made Callum mimic his movements because of the possession, but they didn't do the exact same thing throughout the scene. When Callum was going to each person and saying their insecurities, Aaravos stayed still. When Aaravos sat in the chair towards the end, Callum stayed standing.
So Aaravos purposely bowed to Callum when he didn't have to.
Aaravos has some level of respect for Callum.
This could either work in Callum's favor or make everything 500x worse.
