What sort of nicknames or pet names do the love interests + unlockables like to call their partners? And what kinds do they like to be called in return?

✦ The LIs and pet names!

✦ Amon: Calls their SO (significant other) "babe", "baby", "sugar", "honey"... Obviously can't forget about "bunny". He doesn't have a preference when it comes to him, though.

✦ Raeya: "Dear" or "sweetheart" for both her and her partner. Surprise her with something cheesy to make her blush.

✦ Gael: "My love" is his favorite, both for him and his partner. Also uses "my sunshine" for them.

✦ Envy: Not really into pet names. Likes their partner to call them by name, by their true name, and does the same.

✦ Ara: Sweetie, pumpkin, cutie pie, strawberry boo, bubba, kiwichoo-choo...cheesy things and made-up pet names are her thing to call and be called! Also likes calling their partner "gorgeous" and LOVES being called "princess"!

✦ Xal: Tries to use "cutie" or "beautiful" on his partner but always thinks he sounds cringe. Any pet name they use on him will make his knees go weak, honestly.

✦ Father Pride: "Dear", "darling", or "beloved" for him and his loved one.

✦ Lázaro: Also a "darling" person. Would call their SO "my star" or "my heart". Would like any pet name they think suits them.

✦ Cécile: Would kill to be called your love. "My love", "my everything". Calls you exclusively by name.

double page spread for one of my favorite luzo fics of all time, poly philtatos (the most beloved by far) by my good friend - @swordsmans!

I knew I wanted to do a double page spread the second I finished this fic and I drafted abt a dozen ideas before landing on what would ultimately become this. There were so many snippets and moments I wanted to illustrate but I ended up doing more of an abstracted version of the fic as opposed to 1:1 drawings of scenes 

funnily enough while the fic itself is told in zoros pov this spread is framed mostly through luffy’s eyes - his tears literally frame comp for their reunion, the moment he loses zoro, and the centerpiece of the first page which is this weird abstraction of him on the beach seeing zoros corpse-not-a-corpse in the waves just beyond his reach. 

gyro put the crane wives’ never love an anchor on the playlist for this fic which i heavily used as inspiration in picking ornamental things for the spread (the anchor, the fleet of ships by luffy, and the nautical rope splitting the second page). also just like. overall really heartbreaking lyrics guys 

there are smaller elements throughout the spread that are 1:1 references though (all i will say for these is if you know, you know hehe) i wish i had more time to do a lengthier piece for fanart for this fic bc it's one of the few luzo fics that have been rattling around in my brain forever now - once again please please please read poly philtatos if you haven't. gyro is a masterful writer and they deserve all the love! ok byeee

I just, I ADORE IT when people write the crew going on an adventure like that- like it's just another filler story in the series or something!!! Like you create ur own little world, and bits of worldbuilding, and you write the crew and their interactions so organically,,, and then the way luffy goes missing feels so well done??? It makes so much sense!!!
