Out of curiosity, what tarot cards would the LIs be/represent, if it's not too spoiler-y?

Hey so i'm curious about mcs height, as in is it set or can we headcanon/choose the height?

Cause when meeting Amon the first time, it is said that the mc has to crane their neck to look at him, which kinda suggests that mc is like freakin short(around 5'3-5'5 and shorter) at least i think that this is short, and i know that he is like giant, but with an character who is maybe 6' feet and over it wouldn't make that much sense having to crane the neck.

Also this i just my personal feelings, but i am personally a bit uncomfortable to play a short mc, cause of trauma etc. so it would be appreatiated if you could clarify it, thx.

So River is written to be as "average" as possible so it's easier for people to both self-insert or create their own oc. Amon is characteristically tall in the sense that an MC of his height / close to his height / taller than him would be rare. Not that it's impossible or not encouraged! It's just that not being his height would be the most common scenario.

The "craning your neck to look at Amon" was mainly written for emphasis, not to establish a canonical height for the MC. Perhaps it was too exaggerated and I can find a better way to describe it.

You can even think about it as not strictly literal—he's huge not just physically speaking. There's not much more thought behind it, really!

Also, whether you'll be able to specify things as your height etc., is something we're not sure about yet. LiL is not a strictly self-insertsy, customize everything kind of story, but we'll see how it goes :^)

The team has been celebrating and resting, but we are back to work! I've to organize a bunch of invoices, so expect our 2024 wrap-up and 2025 plans in a few days :^)

✦ How would the LIs celebrate the new years?

Our new years! Kind of, because everyone celebrates the new year differently. Here in Spain we eat 12 grapes for each second into the next year—at 23:59:48, so I'm going to use that tradition for this!

Limbo has a kind of "new year celebration" but that's something for another time :^)

✦ Amon: Goes partying with friends. Drunk-calls everyone at 12 o'clock saying how much he loves them. Gets home at 8 am the next day.

✦ Raeya: Chill at home, preferably with family. Dresses up super cozy, with an ugly Christmas sweater. Loves cooking dinner for everybody and goes to bed early.

✦ Gael: Also chill at home, or at a nice hotel with his partner to see some fireworks together and have a romantic end and start of the year!

✦ Envy: They'd like to go to a kind of remote place to have some peace, like a cabin in the woods to watch the stars, stretch the night, and see how the fireworks light up the city from afar. He hates the noise from up close but the colors are pretty.

✦ Ara: You bet she's either at a friend's houseparty, hosting her own, or at a huge new years celebration party! Dances all night, probably stumbles upon Amon if they both go out, and smokes some weed!

✦ Xal: The less people the better. Celebrates at home but it's kind of like any other day for him. He maybe hangs out with his closest friends and partner to have some drinks, play videogames or board games...

✦ Father Pride: With family! Raeya and him would surely celebrate together if both of them are single, but he'd like to have all his children with him from once in a while. He sets up a lot of nice decorations, buys party bags with hats, wigs, etc.

✦ Lázaro: Another one who goes partying, but not to some rowdy place, but to an elegant meetup. This night is for them and their friends, so they book a table at a nice place to have some cocktails and...more stuff. They dress up very elegantly.

✦ Cécile: Doesn't see the point of celebrating something as the Earth doing a full spin around the sun, but prepares grapes anyway and calls the few people he genuinely likes to congratulate them. May be persuaded into a bigger celebration if he's dating someone, though.
