Shoutout to the toxic yuri going on in House where a patient let her girlfriend give her part of her liver despite the fact that she was planning to leave her because "she got bored of her," and the girlfriend knew the patient was planning to leave her but gave her the liver anyway so that she'd be trapped in the relationship out of guilt
I have never really got deep into shipping culture. I never really got it. Until I met Gregory House and James Wilson. Now I would beat someone to death with a rusty pipe if they implied they were just two straight dudes.
The ONLY man I’d willing let mansplain something to me! Babygirl, I might not know wtf you’re talking about but keep going 🥰🥰🥰🥰
i HATE TWINK WILSON I HATE TWINK WILSON SO SO SO MUCH I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I HATE HIM
There is something so beautiful and enticing about wilson without a jaw line
He looks like a beautiful woman from the renaissance
House has definitely sent Wilson a dick pic or several but he sends them by email because they are both old men and the titles are things like ‘URGENT: please identify if lung cancer’ or ‘patient biopsy results - respond ASAP’ so that Wilson’s guilt complex makes him feel obligated to open each one just in case someone’s life is actually on the line
in queer reading wilson's heteronormative tendencies in season 1 episode 18 "babies and bathwater":
i really love this scene for two reasons, the first being that it exposes the deeper, underlying devotion between house and wilson, and secondly - which is entirely up to interpretation and a tad bit of delusional theorizing - is wilson's interesting reaction.
yes, he's reasonably upset, but why take a jab at his relationship with house by calling it a "stupid, screwed-up friendship"?
house didn't ASK him to defend him against vogler. furthermore, wilson was given the OPTION to quit, which he took; he was only fired from the board, but not from his job. at the time, house's speech really had no relevance to wilson, as it moreso affected house's ducklings. so why the wording?
let's consider the things wilson lists out before: 1) having kids, 2) marriage, and 3) having a successful/stable job. the three expectations of living a, dare i say, heteronormative lifestyle.
i think the subsequent criticism of his relationship with house is a response to losing the only aspect of the aforementioned lifestyle wilson had, which is a stable occupation.
wilson's frustration is a raw emotional reaction, and thus you can interpret his actions as a result of projecting his frustrated confusion through blame. almost like he's wondering why he himself would place his loyalty and devotion to house over something "normal."
sort of a delusional and stretch of a take but i like thinking about this scene in this way sometimes.
