“I teach people how to treat me by what I will allow.”

He Will Complete It
Is there something you’ve been believing for, something you’ve been hoping for that’s taking longer than you expected? You might be tempted to just accept things the way they are. You might be tempted to think it’s never going to happen. If that’s you today, be encouraged because God is a finisher! He will complete what He’s started in you! Your part is to believe. Your part is to keep your eyes on Him. When you believe, you have the Creator of the universe fighting your battles, arranging things in your favor, going before you, moving the wrong people out of the way. Don’t be intimidated by the size of a problem or the size of your dream! Don’t let circumstances convince you to stop believing. “Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider, is still on the throne. One touch of God’s favor and you’ll go from barely getting by to having more than enough! Begin to thank Him and declare that God is at work. Declare that He is perfecting what concerns you. Declare that He will complete everything He’s started in your life!
Embrace Grace is a church-based organization that allows single mothers to prepare for new lives with their babies and seek support among fellow women. There are several participating churches with this program in both GA and AL. https://embracegrace.com/find-a-group/find-a-group/
Birthright International is a secular branch of pregnancy resource centers who offer consultation services, referrals for aid and other forms of help for free, and I found several in GA and AL. They have a 24/7 crisis hotline and search function for finding centers in your area on their front page. https://birthright.org/
Sista Midwife is a black birth advocacy group that catalogues practicing midwives, doulas, and wellness practitioners of color around the US. There were PAGES of results for GA and AL. Because medical treatment of black mothers is poor especially in the south, any of these ladies can help you get the care you need and also help you find needed resources. https://www.sistamidwife.com/
Birth Without Fear is a fantastic all around birth community, made up of women from all backgrounds and challenges. They provide positive birth stories, share support and advice, and there are several support groups in Facebook as well. They have a website (birthwithoutfearblog.com) and also have an active public page on Facebook.
Get Your Care has a fantastic US map of where to find federally qualified health clinics and other places for women in crisis pregnancies. You can check them out here: getyourcare.org
And feel free to search this blog as well, with all kinds of informational and resource-based posts for people wanting to know their options and rights as parents.
Some of these resources are pro-life, others are not. But all of them have a passion for helping women and their children find the care and support that they need. If this makes you angry, feel free to scroll on and make your own post about it. 👍🏼
First comes the acceptance of what is the source of your pain and hurt. Learn to be vulnerable with yourself and in tune with those emotions. Usually, we're taught to suppress them in order that we can continue to "function" in our places of work, school and familial responsibilities. But you have to create that space for yourself where you are ALLOWED to be upset, hurt and scared. And find pragmatic ways of resolving what's going on internally as well as externally if possible. Bring all your troubles towards God and be naked with him. Let him in to those crevices in your heart. Love you all so much and may peace transcend all that is in your lives ❤️.
Amen!!!🙌🏽
This is so powerful! I know who many times I've contemplated on getting my revenge and really "showing people what I'm capable of" lol but at the end if the day our Heavenly Father is the only one who can exact proper justice for us; the only one who can serve the proper penalty.
“Don’t give them a taste of their own medicine. They already know what it tastes like. Give them a taste of your own medicine. If they lied, let your medicine be honesty. If they played with your emotions, let your medicine be maturity. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, even if it means removing yourself from lives that you want to be in. You are, no doubt, worthy of being valued for who you are. So be who you are.”

This is by far one of the best Christian/bible memes I’ve ever seen.
eventually you’ll end up where you need to be, with who you’re meant to be with, and doing what you should be doing. patience is the key tho
