Remember the downfall of Samson with Delilah. Little by little, piece by piece, he gave himself away and turned devotion into other things, not God. He didn’t just fall the moment his hair was cut and the covenant was broken. He fell the moment his heart stopped being devoted to God.
Devotion and living for God starts at the core of the heart. The core of the heart steers the reins that determine your direction.
Christ said that the greatest commandment is the love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. Where are you devoting your heart, soul, mind, and strength today?
“There’s a difference between knowing God and knowing about God. When you truly know God, you have energy to serve Him, boldness to share Him, and contentment in Him.”

still healing from things i don't speak about, i just take it day by day
Dear Father God in Heaven, I humbly come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I ask that You will forgive me for any spiritual neglect or laziness. Lord, help me to serve You with a fervent mind and fervent spirit. Please allow Your Holy Spirit to increase my hunger for You, Your Word, and the things of God. Draw me by Your Spirit that I may run for You. Draw me by Your Spirit that I may be consumed with Your love and truth. I thank You now, Father, that You have heard my prayer and I expect a renewal in my spiritual walk in Jesus Christ’s name.
i just keep getting prettier, more knowledgeable and better, i love it here.
