What’s your favorite tarot/oracle deck and do you know any good ones with Greek mythology themes? I have the Tarot of the Divine and the Jane Austin Tarot, which I both love for different reasons, but neither of them work well for communicating with the Theoi. Are any of your decks particularly good for direct divine communication?

There are a few Greek Mythology themed decks on the market but I personally don't connect with any of them. I'm just gonna have to make my own one day, lol!

I do have a lot more in my collection that I enjoy and work well for me, but those are the ones I've been using the most at the moment.

I have so many decks that typically each god has a deck they have "claimed" as their own. Its usually one that matches their energy so those tend to work really well with communication but usually only with the god who the deck belongs to. For example, I tried to use The Embroidered Forest Tarot to ask the gods why a certain song was constantly being played but I wasn't getting any answers. Eventually Apollo informed me that the lack of answers was because I was using Artemis' deck and since she had no involvement in the situation I was asking about she wasn't going to answer me or let anyone else use the deck to respond to me lol! Typical Artemis! Its the same thing with my Greek Alphabet Oracle. Apollo won't let anyone else use it. You know now that I'm thinking about it, it might just be those two that are really possessive over their decks. xDDDD

But anyway, I have found that The Modern Witch Tarot to be a good deck to communicate with any deity. Weirdly also The Halloween Tarot. Idk what it is about that deck but it reads like a dream right out of the box! Although I personally only use it around Halloween time so The Modern Witch Tarot is really the best year long deck imo!

🌊 Subtle Aphrodite Worship 🦪

Make your body wash/shampoo/conditioner rose scented

Have a rose or sweet scented candle that you light (doesn't have to be on an altar)

Create a skin/body care routine

Have perfume/cologne that you dedicate to her

Wear jewelry that reminds you of her

Carry a pocket charm that reminds you of her (dove works well in a Christian household and is a sacred animal of hers)

Keep a small picture of her in your wallet (maybe carry modern art and claim she is a character from something if asked)

Wear a locket with a picture of someone you love or of her

Give compliments to strangers

Drink water regularly and dedicate a glass of it to her

Collect seashells (if possible)

Collect things you simply find pretty

Get a stuffed animal of a dove or swan/have imagery of those animals around (dove works especially well in a Christian household)

Plan your outfits/wear clothes that make you feel good

Keep a journal of poetry dedicated to Aphrodite and love-related topics; can also be a general positivity journal or diary (maybe a diary in a way of writing letters to her but saying a code name instead of "Aphrodite")

Keep heart-shaped imagery around

Embrace yourself; give yourself love

Forgive yourself of past mistakes

Give yourself compliments; start small if needed; I recommend doing this in a mirror

Pin up pictures of loved ones on a mirror or wall

If possible, burn some incense in honor of her; strawberry always has a great smell to it

Watch a love-focused movie (romantic or platonic)

Listen to or read stories about acts of kindness and love

Paint your nails or wear make-up (if you enjoy those things and are able to)

*A confusing success story*

Hi Cleo. I’ve never done one of these before but something odd happened to me about three weeks ago and I was hoping you could help me understand. So I’m African and I attend a university in Europe. I flew home for summer and on the 2nd of this month I had to fly back to school. And I’m probably flying back home for Christmas this December. It’s a long flight about 7 hours from my country to Dubai and then 5 hours from Dubai to my final destination. So because I’ve been having to do long flights from home to school I’ve been desiring flying first class. It seems so comfortable and luxurious than sitting in economy for hours on end. Even in the airport, all the privileges that you get from being a first class passenger are so great and I wanted that to make travelling easier. But of course it’s really expensive and it’s not something that I was actively going to manifest because being able to afford a ticket to go home is a privilege in itself and I’m fine with that. Anyways so on the first flight to Dubai I was on the double decker plane where it’s business and first class on the top and economy on the bottom. And I kid you not I spent the entire flight sort of complaining to my self and just wishing to be in the top deck all comfortable and shit. Just basically doing all the things you’re not supposed to do when it comes to manifesting. And again I wasn’t trying to manifest first class or business class so I didn’t care. And even though I was uncomfortable I was sort of happy that people get to be comfy in first class I was happy for them and wishing I was them. So I get to Dubai wait 5 hours to connect and as I was boarding the plane the guy checking the boarding passes goes “Hold on one second you’ve been upgraded so let me change your boarding pass” HUH?! I was so confused and I asked him why I got upgraded and he just shrugged, he looked confused as to why I would even ask him that but hello???? this is Emirates are they really just upgrading random college kids to business class? So yes I got upgraded to business class and it was magical (I’ll dm you pictures of proof) It was everything I wanted and expected it to be but I don’t see why I was upgraded when I did the exact opposite of everything you’re supposed to do in terms of manifesting. Yes I have first class on my mood board and all but still I was in such a lack mindset so why did I manifest this still?

and as for why it manifested. i honestly think it had to do with you constantly visualizing being in first class. because you could say something as simple as “i will never go on a rollercoaster” and by you saying that, you envision it. that’s my best explanation 😭. hey i just do the manifesting shit okay go ask sammy😂🤷🏽‍♀️. BUT! with that situation you should start affirming that things always work out for you and you always get what you want so that more things like that happen.

Channeled Messages

Disclaimer: I’m speaking from personal experience here, my experience might be different from other people’s. 

I don't know how other people define it or do it, but I personally see it as if you are being spoken to. I don't do it the way psychics do it, not to the point of being 'taken by a spirit' or 'speaking with the dead', I'm still undecided about anything too spiritual since I'm a practical person.

Since I use tarot for it; from my experience it's similar to reading tarot cards, you are still reading the energies. The difference is it's a lot more flowy; you let it flow through you instead of being so analytical and structured about it (that’s why some sentences do not make any sense). Plus, you use the first person point of view.

The messages come in two forms:

The words/sentences come up by themselves. Eg. "I have so much of you in my heart". This one is easy, the reader just has to pass on the message.

The message comes in the form of feeling, energies, whatever you call it; Eg. your chest feels heavy and full when you are doing the reading, you pick up on a desire to break away. For this one, sometimes the words just appear but sometimes the reader has to find the words for it.

Comparison

In a normal tarot reading you do about Person X, when you pick up on a desire to break away, you can simply say "X wants to break away from something, could be external control like a boss, religion, parents etc".

In a channeled reading, when you pick up on a desire to break away, you have to tune into it deeper to feel how Person X would describe it, how it might feel to them. This makes it exhausting.

The message is influenced by their personality

I.e whoever you are trying to channel. 

In one of my channeled readings; one person has an intense personality. I couldn't just write "I like you" because it felt wrong. It wasn’t enough. "I have an ocean in my soul and I want to drown you in it" felt better. The latter depicted the mix of intense emotions that came up in that reading.

In other words, the message is influenced by the entity's personality, so there is a lot more freedom to decide how you want to explain it in a normal tarot reading, than when you are doing a channeled reading.

Problems that can happen

1) Their personality does not match the topic

Let's say you want to do a sexual reading. Now, what kind of message can you get from a polite person if you ask them to talk about sex? What kind of message can you get from someone who does not talk dirty at all?

As a reader, I can see the images or scenes but I can’t find the words to describe it, no words will come out, because I can feel that the words I want to use do not match the personality of the person, so it feels wrong to say anything. But saying nothing means my querent will not get anything.

2) No message

Sometimes the person (whoever you are channeling) just does not want to talk about something. So in this case, I will get nothing. It feels like you hit a wall when you try to go deeper. The cards are there, you know the cards are supposed to represent something, but no info.

3) The reader does not have the words

For the messages that come in the form of feelings, sometimes I can't find the words to describe them. I can feel like there is a joke here, the teasing tone, etc but I might not be able to do it because I'm not funny (lmao) and I don't have the words. I can't just write "they like to make jokes".

Hence why when you look at channeled readings available online; some channeled readings sound right, but some sound a bit off. It's because the messages go through the reader's language skills (besides other factors I mentioned above). Channeled readings are hard to do to begin with, so I'm not looking down on anyone here, I’m in the same boat.

Conclusion

From my experience and observation, a channeled message is a mix of the entity's energy/words and the reader's language skills. It's a bit different from normal tarot readings, your freedom is a bit limited when you do channeled readings.

Important: The words I use in my channeled readings, may not all be the exact words the person uses when they speak, because I’m not them lol. But I do try to pick the words that have the closest meanings/nuances to their energy.

How to Ask Tarot for a General Prediction

Sometimes you have no specific question at all. But you find yourself curious about life in the long haul.

Step 1: Sort your deck.

Separate the Major Arcana (22 cards); the court cards (16 cards); the Wands, the Cups, the Swords, and the Pentacles (10 cards each). You should have six piles.

Step 2: Ask about life.

Overhand shuffle the Major Arcana, while asking, “What can I expect from life?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

Justice – Life will give you whatever you deserve.

Death – Life as you know it now will change completely.

The Sun – Life will make you very happy.

Step 3: Ask about help.

Overhand shuffle the court cards, while asking, “Who will help me?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

King of Wands – A Leo. Someone brave and protective.

Queen of Wands – An Aries. Someone strong and powerful.

Page of Cups – A Water sign. Someone emotional and loving.

Step 4: Ask about passion.

Overhand shuffle the Wands, while asking, “Where will I find passion?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

Ace of Wands – In something you have not tried before.

Five of Wands – In sports or competition.

Eight of Wands – In communication or travel.

Step 5: Ask about love.

Overhand shuffle the Cups, while asking, “Will love find me?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

Ace of Cups – Yes, a new love will find you.

Five of Cups – Yes, but it will not stay.

Ten of Cups – Yes, and it will last forever.

Step 6: Ask about demons.

Overhand shuffle the Swords, while asking, “Will I defeat my demons?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

Ace of Swords – Yes, you will slay them.

Three of Swords – They will always stay with you.

Ten of Swords – Never.

Step 7: Ask about wealth.

Overhand shuffle the Pentacles, while asking, “Will I know wealth?” If a single card jumps out and lands face side up, that is your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top. Read it.

Examples:

Ace of Pentacles – Yes, like never before.

Five of Pentacles – You will know poverty.

Ten of Pentacles – Definitely.

Step 8: Ask about time.

Put the whole deck together again. Overhand shuffle all 78 cards, while asking, “When will any of this begin?”

If two cards jump out and land face side up, they are your answer. Otherwise, put any rogues back in the pile and take the card on top and the one at the bottom. Those are the two possibilities. For meanings, refer to this.

YOU WILL NEVER BE READY.

Let’s be honest, the more we wait the more we overthink and when we over think we doubt and we all know what happens when we start doubting. We will never find our selves in the perfect situation for the goals we want to achieve. Making yourself wait or putting things off because you need to be “ready” is self-sabotage. Obviously know the difference between pushing yourself in the right direction and overworking yourself. If you are doubting yourself because of xyz and the reasons you put forth onto why you shouldn’t do something are due to fear of failure or fear of rejection, that’s just a sign that you are scared and don’t believe in yourself. If you feel that you physically can’t because it’s affecting your mental state and quality of life then that’s probably a reason to wait .

Forcing yourself to do something you wouldn’t have done otherwise is discipline. Reaching your goals requires discipline. I’m not going to sit here and type like I’m a perfect being because I’m not, I also struggle with aiming to better myself from time to time. Nobody is perfect and people who you view as such have worked and pushed themselves to flourish where they are. The difference between successful people and average people are those who do what others could not, those who don’t wait for the perfect opportunity but seek other alternatives to get the same result. Those who are not bound by one idea of success but are willing to try different ways to get what they want.

Don’t beat yourself later for something you could’ve done now and don’t reject the past instead of learning from it. The time is now…

HOW TO GET A GLOW UP

I used to be the ugly dunklin, till I change in 1 week and turned pretty much half of my life upside down, it happened right after my 16th catastrophic birthday, at the time I was already following Liz and her tips which helped me so much!! So here how to glow up in minimum 1 week

౨ৎsmell good౨ৎ

This is so important, I noticed how people react to good smelling people, they just say it out loud how much they like the fragrance, knowning that it's you, will just make you more approacable, it boosts your confidence and overl all more liked

౨ৎexercise + diet౨ৎ

This was huge for me, not only it imroves your moods but it also makes your prettier, you need to fist know what goals you want to archive physically, if you want a bigger butt, eggs and potatoes salad can be a good alternative, if you want to have a snatched waist try to do more cardio, at the time the only cardio I used to do was jump roping, which is amazing!!

This was the revolution, just dress how ou want each outfit can have at max 2 trendy elements, not more, and the rest it needs to rappresnt YOUR personality!! This is going to make you unique and recognizable!! Also I suggest to go shopping on friday lol, the beauty day!

This is how everything started, a munch of motivational viddeos, the wizard liz and confidence targetting posts, moodboards and much more, at the time I was getting treated really harshly from my classmates, it was probably one of thelowest point of my life, bit I pick myself up, cause I had a goal: Changing my narrative.

There was not sense into staying bitter and hating not only myself but the world around, I wanted to prove to myself that I actually mettered, you don't glow up for other, but for yourself, never, ever welcome in your life people that before put you under the rug, have some respect for yourself and clear boundaries.
