If someone wanted to ask for advice about how to choose between two paths, I would prefer to help them analyze their options logically instead, without using tarot; it would take less energy from me (thus enjoyable) and it would be more effective for them.

You can be detailed and practical with tarot about these topics if you try hard enough, but 'sitting with the person, confirming every relevant fact about their problem and constructing an action plan for them' will be a lot more effective and certain. It's not natural for me to see interpersonal dynamics

I was the kid who felt surprised when I found out two 'friends' hated each other because they seemed like they got along? I can see how Person A's personality can influence their decision in X situation, but it's harder for me to immediately see how Person A's decision will be influenced by Person B's personality in X situation. It's the shit I normally, in my day-to-day life, forget to consider.

Thus in this case, tarot is necessary and effective, because it helps me understand and get familiar with interpersonal dynamics (an interaction of variables such as personalities, status, power, etc and how they all feel) since I'm not natural at recognizing them in person. I can now see the power dynamic in a social group, I can now see how compliments I receive from authorities can influence my peers and their behaviors towards me, I can now see the differences between the influence water signs have on fire influenced people VS earth influenced people. I couldn't do this before.

TLDR:

I'm usually fine with those topics because they fit my goals. I like seeing interactions between different intrapersonal and interpersonal variables and see what can come out of those. It's intellectually interesting to note the similarities and the differences in each case, to recognize how they feel energetically and emotionally, so that I can improve how fast and how accurate I can spot them in real life, even without tarot.
