Let’s be honest, the more we wait the more we overthink and when we over think we doubt and we all know what happens when we start doubting. We will never find our selves in the perfect situation for the goals we want to achieve. Making yourself wait or putting things off because you need to be “ready” is self-sabotage. Obviously know the difference between pushing yourself in the right direction and overworking yourself. If you are doubting yourself because of xyz and the reasons you put forth onto why you shouldn’t do something are due to fear of failure or fear of rejection, that’s just a sign that you are scared and don’t believe in yourself. If you feel that you physically can’t because it’s affecting your mental state and quality of life then that’s probably a reason to wait .

Forcing yourself to do something you wouldn’t have done otherwise is discipline. Reaching your goals requires discipline. I’m not going to sit here and type like I’m a perfect being because I’m not, I also struggle with aiming to better myself from time to time. Nobody is perfect and people who you view as such have worked and pushed themselves to flourish where they are. The difference between successful people and average people are those who do what others could not, those who don’t wait for the perfect opportunity but seek other alternatives to get the same result. Those who are not bound by one idea of success but are willing to try different ways to get what they want.

Don’t beat yourself later for something you could’ve done now and don’t reject the past instead of learning from it. The time is now…

Very glad to finally be continuing this series. I love the High Priestess so I decided to go ahead and just knock this card out.

The High Priestess is a beautiful expression of divinity. She understands the secrets of the universe. Her knowledge is expansive and she ebbs and flows with the fluctuations of time & energy. She is the Seer. She is Empathetic but not overly so, The High Priestess is a woman with secrets. She is obscure, an enigma, you could never begin to fathom her or her secrets and the pleasures that lie deep beneath the surface. Her mind is expansive, she is an artist, an extension of spirit. She is unable to be pinned down to just one expression of energy. She is everything, she is your subconscious mind. Your darkest secrets, the most obscure knowledge. The High Priestess as a person can indicate someone who is deeply in tune with their subconscious mind. They understands how to passively manipulate the energy around them to draw in what they're looking for. They understand the role the subconscious mind plays in the manifestation of the world around them. Unlike the Magician who is using his tools to manipulate his surroundings- The High Priestess uses her mind to create what she desires. When The High Priestess appears to you in a reading it can mean a few things. There may be a secret or piece of knowledge on the verge of revealing itself to you or attempting to reveal itself to you through tarot.

We can also get inklings of what our intuition or spirit guides are trying to tell us based on what is clarifying her. IE, The High Priestess clarified by the 3 of wands & the 9 of pentacles could indicate that your manifestation is just over the horizon and to keep persisting. Or The High Priestess clarified by the 7 of swords & ace of cups could indicate your intuition is on point about someone you got a weird feeling about.

She can also indicate in some circumstances that someone is doing divination on you- specifically if someone who would be associated with the high priestess herself is divining on you. If the card is representing someone else this person could be someone who has a lot of secrets. Maybe even secrets about you or other people. This person has psychic abilities & likely dabbles in the occult. Can also be representative of an elevated ancestor, spirit guide, or even a message from your higher self. (if you are someone who considers themself to be a high priestess type)

The High Priestess as a whole touches on the idea of the subconscious mind and the expression and exploration of it. Historically WOMEN are creators. We literally birth life into existence to this day. So it's important to put this into perspective when we look at cards dealing with femininity. Feminine Energy is something that naturally creates her surroundings. She births into the physical realm what resides in her thoughts & feelings. So we can also apply this to the subconscious mind of The High Priestess whereas with The Empress it is more with sensual and creative energy. We need to consider that this card is associated with very lunar tones. The Triple Moon is even seen on her crown in many iterations of the card. She is a woman of the night, she walks with the beauty of the Moon & the mind. She is the connection between the magic of the subconscious mind and the beauty that is Women.

she draws inspiration from ashley banks, moesha, and tia and tamera from sister, sister

she loves layering and two buttoned shirts

she loves wearing oversized clothes that make it look like her body is drowning

she doesn’t have a specific colour palette, but black and brown are probably her most worn

she isn’t picky when it comes to pants when practicing and has even grown comfortable dancing in jeans

with tops, they just have to be oversized really

it doesn’t matter to her if it’s a button up, a hoodie or a regular t-shirt

she barely wears sneakers and her go to shoes are sandals

she wears them everywhere and matches them with her outfits

as for heels, she doesn’t like them that high and the thicker the heel, the better

this goes for her boots too, even though they are her least worn shoes

whether it’s with a bandana or a scarf, she more often than not has her locs wrapped

ever since she started making her own jewellery, they are the only ones she wears

her favourite piece of jewellery are rings and she is in love with her clay ring collection

she thinks the small sunglasses are the cutest but since she needs glasses tp see, she wears contacts under her sunglasses

a reminder, that you in fact do not have to believe your affirmations. you have to persist and keep a mental diet, that is it. you can feel like your affirmation are bullshit and still manifest your shit.
